That was an enjoyable video to watch. The HT10 is a lot like my Landscape Buddy 1 ton, in fact, there is yellow paint under the white paint on mine that leads me to believe that my excavator is a HT rebranded. Thanks for sharing and happy excavating!
They are a bit small for loading into trailers or utes. They are designed right in regards to the bucket crowding in far enough. Only way around that problem is to get a bigger model. 1.8 ton models are comfortable for loading trailers and even a dump truck.
Thanks for video, I have one coming Friday. Is that a 10 foot trailer you have it on. I wanted to see if it will fit on my 5x10 dump trailer. thanks again
I have a 6x10 dump trailer now, its hard to get the right balance being so short of a trailer, i swing my boom on one side so i can move my machine closer to the rear of the trailer (machine facing rear of trailer)
I have the ht10 b version. It has plenty of power for it. I put a hydraulic cylander for the thum. Going to change it out for a longer cylinder. Hydraulic thum is a must. Grate for picking up brush. Will brake 2 to 3 inch limes. Had mine for 3 month no problems as of now. Doing some mods
@@diftoyota I have not put the new cylinder one on yet. The one that is on it is short. And gets in the way of digging some times. I bought the thumb off ebay. i am in NS and just picked up a very similar machine, i thoght it seemed like there was something loose in the swing, last time i was digging it was really rocking so im gonna have to check on that, i may put larger washers+lock washer+locktite when i do mine, if it continues and is possible i will put in larger better bolts
Mine has 6 allen head bolts that holds the whole body to the undercarriage, those were loose and cause the rocking like you mentioned, mine had lock-washers but its not the best ones, ive replaced them and added red locktight, 5 hours since with no issues, but the swing motor next to it i still have the loose bolt issue even with red locktight and lockwashers, i think im gona ditch those allen heads for regular one, it be easier to get a good torque on them

everyone talks crap about Chine made stuff. u do know China does have state of the art machinery and technology, not everything made in China comes from a sweat shop. my uncle has a baby Chines Backhoe.. lol. its not heavy enough, doesn't do well in dry rocking soil. if you're going to do serious digging with it, better do it in mid to late spring. nice video, thank u for sharing

Hello, I have the same HT10 model. All in all I’m really happy with it. But I also have an annoying problem. It seems that the bucket doesn’t close enough. So that I loose a lot of sand e.g. when loading it on a trailer which is little bit higher. It would be nice to know, if you have the same problem.
I never got to load a trailer yet, but its typically normal for an excavator to loose its curl ability wen reaching far out, having your machine sitting on top of the pile or on higer ground would makes loading easier
Been looking at these. My problem they are all balless, I run a brand new 35 series Komatsu the other day for 3 hrs was a pain the ass power wise for what I was doing... but was in close quarters where you could not get a bigger machine in there. Just a heads up been operating for 40 years but used to 100000+ pound machines.
i am from new brunswick canada too and i would like to buy one but market place is full of scam , would be nice to have the contact to buy it from the guy you bought it from
Its normal to leak a bit as it is pressurized wen warm, mine was just loose on top, tighthen the lower piece then put the cap on, its always wet still but not coming out much anymore,
I have a New 1 fully loaded with auger and quick connect and small bucket for 10k.Also has Hydraulic oil cooler..Hydraulic Thumb and foot pedal to operate thr thumb or other attachments
@@jordantomei4201 mine had some, put the machine hjgh and boom low, operate it as much as you can with the hydraulic tank cap off and see if that changes anything, keep an eye on that oil level gauge too, otherwise im not sure. Maybe pump related they come with a year parts warranty. But from what i understood its a year warranty starting from the day it left it left the factory, not the day you bought it
The price range varies alot, i bought it off a guy so he sells it at a profit, its cheaper to buy them online if you want to deal with all the shipping headaches
It depends where you buy them and what you buy with them, cheapest is if you buy them yourself on alibaba, otherwise ive seen them anywhere between 11500-16500
Sweet little machine. Ritchie Brothers are using similar machines to fill out their auctions. I'm drooling over a 1.5T for personal use.

these machines are great for mechanics and engineers. with a bit of mods and new fittings and fastners they are def worth it
