Love Elvis's but this is good for the younger generation.

Just because it sounds more poppy the older crowd hates it, lol. This version is literally: 1. Sung just as beautifully, with the exact same deep message the original has since the lyrics are (nearly) 1:1, only this version is faster-paced/upbeat. 2. Avant-garde/experimental like at 4:47 onwards there are slightly distorted ad libs w/ effects which make it sound more interesting and "pop" (unmistakably early 2000s pop specifically) which elevates the track sonically to something really cool and different, but also badass and dance-y. And 3. Purposely youthful! It's a teen boy/girl pop group version of a signature Elvis ballad (it's practically an homage to Elvis himself, as it's from the Lilo & Stitch movie which has many homages to Elvis). They delivered what they set out to do, and if I had to name a definitive upbeat version of this song (idk if there are any others), this rendition takes the cake. They sang this with a lot of respect for the original is what I'm saying and it's good music.

Thank you so much for getting this to us, we actually came onto this version due to an AMV of it for final fantsy 10 with tidus and yuna. We are getting married sept 4 around a bunch of our geeky and nerdy friends, along with my grandfather a 101 combat vet there to give her away since her family was unable to make it. Though we will do a seperate one later for family.

The kids did a pretty good job with the song. 😆 I would recommend the Pentatonix version as the best, but you would probably have it blocked. So there is no use in even trying.

It took me a minute to get used to that version (2002 in Lilo and Stitch) but it is pretty catchy.

This song deserves to be burned and buried you cannot beat Elvis. Nothing is more frustrating than hearing new artist try to take great songs from the 60s 70s and 80s and remake them just stop make your own songs.
