    I always wonder why the color isn't applied when the dough is softer when it would be easier to mix.

    • @ampa4989
      @ampa4989 3 года назад

      It might be because you might want to use several different colors for one batch of cookies. If so, you'd have to split up the dough after mixing then proceed with the coloring. It's probably also better to store colorless dough then mix in the color after thawing. Otherwise, the color might fade over time. Probably trying to keeping things consistent.

    • @AlucardRawks
      @AlucardRawks 8 лет назад +1

      Maybe putting a bit of dough where you want to press would help so it has something to stick to? Are you using baking paper or just a bare tray? I can help you with the shape though, take out any baking powder or bicarbonate soda in your recipe and its best to stick your cookie tray with the raw biscuits into the fridge for about 10-15 minutes to chill. Its good to do that with any cookie that you want to keep its shape (gingerbread, sugar cookie, etc)

    • @London1869
      @London1869 6 лет назад +2

      No grease, no liner, and chill your pan first. If that doesn't help, maybe not enough dough is coming out to press onto the pan and adhere. Try pressing a little more dough out.

      Make sure you're using spritz cookie dough only. Wilton has atleast 3 recipes for the dough.

    The mass does not remain in the baking pan, I struggled a lot.
    I have to press several times to cut form, and then I have to do my thick cookies so that you can cut out the shape.
    I do not know if it's my cookie dough.
    Can somebody help me?
    Thank you.

      Maybe it's the type of dough you used. You should use the Wilton recipe in the description or the recipe that came with the cookie press.

    Shortbread cookies don't rise, so if the petals of the flower aren't connected before baking, they're not going to be connected after baking. (The baked cookies she iced cannot have been the same ones she made.)
