I wish they would do this again in Missouri I loved watching them if you get a chance look up flat River Grand Prix. It's no longer held but it was 100 mi race four laps of 25 miles

He's made huge strides this year.. Running near the top of C class in IXCR.. He built 2 450r and can push a solid pace through a whole race.. Getting better every weekend!
It depends your personal goals... We've got friends still riding sport machines past their 50s but if you're more comfortable on a utility there's nothing wrong with that... Racing has been a great motivator
@@DirtObseXXion well the Genie is out of the bottle. I bought a Suzuki ltr 450. Came with flex bars and stabilizer and a lot of new parts.. The bike has been completely gone over. Other than the safety gear what other things should I be looking at getting to race harescrambles. Our local races are only a hour long. Any help would be great
@@sfajita I've got an ltr450 too!! Bit wide for woods racing but you should be ok. Sounds like you're covered, only thing I can think of is palm savers and a hydration pack..
Depends on what you're doing.. If you're racing I'd say yes, definitely.. But if prioritizing parts there's a few things I'd say are essential before the bars, especially if you're just trail riding.. Precision Stabilizer for example is something I'd want before Flexx bars. But they do add protection for your wrists and reduce fatigue..
@@ngrimm0 Precision makes shock and vibe clamps that some guys like too.. Viking likes Flexx bars for racing, I didn;t like the chock and vibe clamps but Brian likes them. I'm going to put Flexx bars on my Raptor but everything else is done.. Empire, FCI, Houser Arms, Elka Shocks, LSR stem, DWT wheels, and a bunch of other stuff here and there. The bars were my last priority but I like them enough to still want a set.. I have the Protaper Raptor bend right now with an LSR clamp and the Protapers are a bit too wide..

I did Elka 3s because I didn't need H/L compression adjustment and I'm happy with them.. I didn't get the R so I had always planned to do suspension.. The Rekluse is super cool too but I'd put that pretty far down the list because the Raptor clutch is so manageable as is.. . When you put the PC5 on it, it's gonna add fuel to low RPMs and makes it almost impossible to stall.. Are you going to race it or just doing a dream build?

one thing that helps a little with the arm pump is to undo the velcro on your gloves, it will let the blood circulate a little better
