I watched a football game between two of the best teams in Scotland's lowest division! Please subscribe for more non league football content! #football #soccer #uk
You should get a look at Giffnock SC. Go up to their facility at Auldhouse and have a look. Their plans are massive and this is a story that's just beginning. I reckon they're going to be a huge outfit in 10 years time.
Fair play to you mate love your enthusiasm for these lower league games all we need now is for you to go to watch Johnstone Burgh at Keanie Park i remember you visited it before but couldn’t get access you’d really like it it’s a proper old skool stadium 👌🏻
Another great video, I do like these ones. Just one wee suggestion though, even though the WoSFL 4th division is the only 10th tier division in Scotland and therefore the lowest tier there is, in other parts of the country there are still lowest tiers (for those regions) that I think would be worth going to for similarly themed videos, like the East of Scotland League Third Division. In the rest of Scotland tier 6 or 7 is the lowest but some of the clubs there who keep going despite being near the bottom for years would be good to highlight too, like Coupar Angus (Midlands League) and Alness United (North Caledonian League) for example.
Yeah, having watched a lot of football in all of those leagues, the WoSFL fourth division may be tier 10 but it's definitely a higher standard than the North Caley, the North Region Championship or most of the South of Scotland. Fantastic clubs all over the country plugging away, giving football to their communities.
So many good, entertaining games at this level. I was at Campbeltown Pupils v Newmains a couple of weeks ago, a blink-and-you'll-miss-it 2-2 draw that was genuinely more enjoyable than any of the Champions League games I've watched on TV this season. Great to see you promoting this level of football, hopefully it gets more people to support their local teams and get out the house on a Saturday afternoon. It's especially good for kids who get bored sitting in one seat for two hours, you show how much freedom they get.
Great content as always. Go and cover a game in the North Caledonian League or the South of Scotland League, two leagues which have little if any exposure.
I wish more You Tube channels focussed on real lower-league games. I have no idea how these clubs survive. This keeps your usp high in my book and I come back often. Especially as it's hard for me to commute for games where I am.
Another great vid Sam. Was just thinking while watching this vid, if BBC Scotland gave some matches at this level or higher in the WOSFL some TV coverage, I'm sure they would get plenty of viewers. Often more exciting and entertaining to watch than the top leagues.
Great to see that you're still going strong with the videos bigman. Was dismayed to see that the Motherwell fans felt the need to have a go at you but was pleasant to see the result of that being most of scottish football showing you support. Viva the footy adventures. Always welcome in Clydebank.
Great content as usual Sam. Enjoyed our wee chat during the game. Your support and profile of non-league footie in Scotland is fantastic and appreciated.
Hello pal, just started watching the channel and I think it’s brilliant, I’ve watched a few videos were you use an app to choose what game you go to, what is the app called?????? Keep up the fantastic content.
Absolutely loving these "bottom tier" videos. Really feel like you are at the grassroots. I feel like this is my alternative reality if my parents hadn't emigrated in 1961! On my next trip to Scotland I really have to get to some of these grounds. Maybe the roll and sausage is a bit of an enticement too!
Mate, you need to get along to see Camelon at Carsmuirs Park. Behind one of the goals, the ground backs onto the garden of a house... the guy that lives there has built his own enclosure in his garden to view the matches!
The old Western park would have made a proper old school local ground video for Sam. i used to watch the Renfrew juniors with my Papa 30 yrs ago... its all houses now
You should come back to Broxburn Athletic and see us in action. We're undefeated in all competitions and top of the East of Scotland Premier. Stevie Pittman has turned the team round in a big way.
You clearly love going to games at this level and don't believe you've done a game at Vale of Leven albeit I know you've done videos on non match days, that really is a good one to visit on so many levels
You've just covered the top of the bottom tier, but what about the bottom of the bottom tier. What is it like for those teams? Is there one team that keeps finishing bottom?
Hiya Sam, I've heard Carlisle United are getting bought out, I enjoy you going to these fixtures, at least there's leagues outside the SPFL, you haven't been to Workington Reds, I'm not to sure what league their in, ex Liverpool, Tottenham and England Centre Forward Paul Stewart used to play for them, this is Choppy in Whitehaven, Cumbria, England
One man and his dog went to watch St Peter's, One Man And His Dog named Teddy went to Watch St Peter's...hopefully that's a song we hear at their matches soon :-)
You should try to attend a Brechin city match Nairn county Inverness Caledonian Thistle And gretna fc because we all heard of this team :) These are my suggestions Sam and try to go on the highland podcast to talk about the Scottish Leagues as this is one of your specialists 😮
Lovely wee ground. Check out when I went there a while back 👇🏼🙌🏼 £2 PER GOAL IN INCREDIBLE FOOTBALL MATCH!!! Hearts B v Buckie Thistle - SPFL Trust Trophy ruclips.net/video/NEB4nlntIxc/видео.html
Worst league is a bit harsh, every new team, has to start somewhere. And the bottom tier is where it is, saying it is the worst not only casts a shadow over these team's and player's, that play for there enjoyment and mental wellbeing. As you will be aware of the minutes silence to a player at the start of Saturday's games.
Great to see an old foe still in the game. Keep up the good work John.

@@Irvinedhino they're building two brand new astros to go with the current grass parks. They'll be high end WOSFL soon.

I liked the manager not taking your bait with the "worst division" talk 😂. Great video!

Top vlog mate! That VEO can help more than people would know for the smaller sides!

Technically the North Caledonian league is tier 6 but very much this kind of level if not lower. Always fun at Bonar Bridge or Thurso

great to see some quality football, from a quality youtuber
Much appreciated!
Great video. Pity about the result. My son was mascot at the game and pleased he was in video for a few seconds
The old Western park would have made a proper old school local ground video for Sam. i used to watch the Renfrew juniors with my Papa 30 yrs ago... its all houses now
Rather see these clubs given exposure than always going to the bigger clubs, pretty sure I've said that to you at Pittodrie
You should come back to Broxburn Athletic and see us in action. We're undefeated in all competitions and top of the East of Scotland Premier. Stevie Pittman has turned the team round in a big way.
glad to see a vid in renfrew the pitch is 5 minutes away from me
John is one of those blokes, that when I look at them I fancy a pint….
Visiting the lower tiers is endlessly interesting. Gives a fresh perspective.
You clearly love going to games at this level and don't believe you've done a game at Vale of Leven albeit I know you've done videos on non match days, that really is a good one to visit on so many levels
Good , confident young manager !
Honestly give me scottish junior football over going to a top flight game that has VAR involved

Come to Hawick to see my beloved Hawick Royal Albert Honourary President Irene Hutchison.
Need to watch Pumpherston FC in the east third division, Recreation Park

Would you ever come to burntisland shipyard? I reckon it'd be the smallest club you've visited or one of them, bring a jacket though it's windy 🤣
Come up to Peterhead for a match. Two young player co-managers.

With 20 paying fans how could teams afford to assistants every week?
Get to some Highland League matches. Also Midlands League.
I live there
Big real salt lake fan from mls. Go back to larne and see our rsl boys. Jaziel orozco and illijah paul are on loan there.
❤
I think you do these teams a disservice by saying they are in the worst league. Lowest league would be better.
St. Peters are better than Sevco
