I applaud you for your authenticity. I was once you. Yes I tried it beginning with holding gel, perms, glue, weave, and all types of hair styles with no problems when I was younger. Had I known then what I know now I wouldn’t have done it. But it was beautiful. Now that I’m more mature in age I won’t go back. Thanks again for keeping it REAL ❤️🌹
Girl! God not the algorithm must have sent this video to me today. I was planning to get henna to color my locs. I’m almost 2 years on my loc journey. In month 2 I colored my locs with henna like I did as a loose natural every 6 weeks. It was easy and the color looked great but I decided to let my hair do its own thing and I have been rocking my silver strands for about 20 months. Yesterday I saw a gorgeous color and I am ready to try something new. But I will hold off. I plan to wear these locs as long as I have hair. I don’t mind trimming them. I just know I am never going back to perms or to loose natural hair. Btw your locs look lovely!

Great video. Have you thought about either a semi-permanent or demi-permanent rinse? You can buy the black hair color in a tube and either a zero-lift or 10V developer. It won’t last as long because you’re basically depositing the color without the damage.
My goodness I just did this on my friend’s hair today, and we both were asking ourselves why did we always use the pre measured box hair dye😂😂😂 thanks so much for the advice and for watching 💜
