Steve Miller was very under rated by the critics, Great reaction Salvo!😍🤩👋
Another 8-track flashback from my high school days.
Steve Miller is an American guitarist, singer & songwriter. The Steve Miller Band had a lot of great hits in the 70's-80's such as "Gangster Of Love", "Space Cowboy", "Fly Like An Eagle", "Take The Money & Run", "Jet Airliner", "Jungle Love", "The Joker", "Abracadabra", "Swingtown", "Dance, Dance, Dance" & many more.
Just saw them in August. Still sound great.
He’s fantastic. He’s 79 or 80. I saw him again last year and he played for 2 hours. So much fun.
@@laurakali6522 He's 81. :)
@@jodij6280 even more impressive.
A banger it was, you had to get up and dance every time this was played. And yes I agree, along with millions of people, this is an "A" album for sure
I saw the Steve Miller Band in the summer of '77 and this was one of his songs that was riding high at that time. Great show and great memories. Thanks for reacting to this.
Paul Rodgers of Bad Company was the lead singer of Free
On the strength of liking the Beatles from the radio, I used my birthday money to buy my first album, London Town, by Wings. This album followed shortly after, from hearing Fly Like an Eagle on the radio. And then The Stranger, by Billy Joel, followed by his entire discography then.
If I think about it, I can still hear the pops and ticks I wore into this record.
Danced a lot on 🎶Keep on rockin me baby🎶
Love Steve Miller
So underrated! Dude can rock. Just saw him a month ago at age 80 and he’s still pure 🔥
He writes some of the catchiest songs!! Amazing live!!!
SONGS FROM 70'S TO 90'S HAD INTROS THAT WERE RECOGNIZABLE. AND SOME LONG, SOME SHORT. ALL GREAT!!!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😎😎😎😎😎
Lived in Atlanta briefly when this song was released and we would scream the name of the city every time they sang it!! Lots of good tunes on this album, reminding me of my youth and hearing great songs on the radio!
I love that you are singing along on the first listen! Great song and reaction!
This is an A album! This whole album was MASSIVE when I was a teen.
I lived in the Seattle-Tacoma region at the time, and this song was well loved by the Tacoma top 40 radio station (KTAC) and received nearly constant airplay on that station for some time. If you really wanted to hear it, you just turned to their frequency (850 AM) and it was bound to come on before you got out of the bathroom.
Love Steve Miller! Gotta hear the whole album!!❤❤
Steve Miller could lay down a groove, man.
Love it!
Serenade is such a fantastic song
Love ❤️ love!
THESE ARE ALL FIRE. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😎👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼❤❤❤
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
"LIVIN' IN THE USA"
"QUICKSILVER GIRL"
"GOIN' TO MEXICO"
You MUST listen to Alright Now by Free. Excellent banger. The lead singer Paul Rodgers went on the form Bad Company in the 70’s. He’s a keeper.
Jackson Browne For Everyman.
I love Steve Miller! Back in the day, I dated two different guys named Steve Miller, but neither was this one!
I Love to spin the vinyl 45 of this, it sure keeps them rockin'. I also play "The Joker" & "Abracadabra"
Les Paul was Steve Miller‘s godfather. He left him many guitars upon his passing, Les Paul taught him to play three chords. It’s always fun when Steve Miller gets LesPaul out to play on his Les Paul.
❤❤❤
You don't even know about Wild Mountain Honey...yet.
Yeah, he does (and loved it). He reacted to the whole album on Patreon.
It’s true that the lyrics aren’t complicated, but despite not having discovered the Steve Miller band until a decade after they were popular, I can sing all the words of the song, even though I haven’t heard it for probably another decade, lol. So fun & upbeat!
Just saw them in June and at Fenway in August with Journey and Def Leppard. They still sound great!!
I'd definitely suggest his song, Livin in the USA, from his second album, Sailor. That album had Boz Scaggs on bass and a lot of great songs. But Livin in the USA is incredible. Cheeseburger!
Something a bit earlier and different…Sergio Mendes and Brasil 66 “Mas Que Nada”.
Check out,,,,,Livin' in the USA,,,,,the video. Somebody give me a CHEESEBURGER,,,💥💥💥🤘😎

If you like Eminem, you'll like Steve Miller's Abracadabra lol
