Fantastic selections! I need to take a look at Deer and Doe patterns. I can't wait to see your review on the Myosotis. I noticed your name labels....where did you order them? Good job Tea!!!! Happy sewing!
Hello Patricia! How are you! I buy all of my labels from the Dutch Label website. I would warn you of two things before you buy… (1) they are a little expensive (2) it takes about 2-4 weeks to receive your shipment because they are not based in the U.S. But other than that they are excellent! Love the quality, and they have a lot of options. You can custom make your labels with your own logo or just order basic labels with your name as you see in my video. I have three sets ( custom made and basic labels). Anyway. Here’s the link to the site. www.dutchlabelshop.com
Thank you! I try to be careful when choosing fabrics nowadays. I’ve made so many mistakes in the past choosing fabrics that are not my style. It’s depressing when you choose the wrong fabric. Im getting better at it. 😁
Hi Donita! I’m trying to get to a point where I don’t have to make a bicep adjustment. That would be nice. It would be even better if pattern companies would include bigger sleeve patterns for people like us. 🤔 thanks for watching.
I love your videos. Thanks for your informed opinions. I find those reviews that only say good things, aren't as usefull. I want to know the good and the bad.
😂 I agree! I'm not as popular with the brands because of it. But hey, I don't like wasting time or money and wouldn't want my followers to waste their time or money either.
😁 thank you! It’s a beautiful print. I went to check on the Joann site to see if they had any in stock. Sadly they do. It. I didn’t realize how much I love this fabric.
I made my first Deer and Doe pattern last year when I made the free Plantain Tee, and I was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend that you download the free top pattern just to get an idea of how they size their patterns. I believe most of their patterns are drafted for a B cup, so you may need to do a few adjustments. But it’s totally worth it in my opinion. Happy sewing! Thanks for watching!
Hi Andra! Thanks! I feel the same way! I wish there was a better name for this pattern, one that wouldn’t have me guessing if I’m spelling or pronouncing it right lol 😂
Great Video! I have a couple of these patterns and added a note that you love them in my listing (I keep a list because I have so many patterns). I cross reference with type like skirt, short dress, etc. so I can have easier access when I choose a particular type of garment. Definitely will keep those two in minds when wanting a dress.
Hi Sue! I’m so thankful for your kind words and thoughts! I like your cross reference system. I’ll have to try something like that. Thanks for sharing. 😁
Hi Tea, gorgeous 40's; styling stripe bodycon head to hem; maybe a buckle on the short belt (black circles used for bag handles) or hematite D rings. Great collection on you.
Hi Jennifer! I heard great things about that pattern. I really need to give that one a try. I downloaded it last year along with their free cardi. Thanks for the reminder. 😁
Now your making want to get that Myosotis and you know I love that knit dress. A maxi Magnolia would be amazing! My favorite dress is the out of print Simplicity 2369 knit faux wrap dress. I get a great fit with this quick and easy pattern. Thanks for sharing these patterns.
Hey sis! I bet you'll love the Myosotis dress. Paired with cute scrappy sandals and a purse, you would look so cute. I'll have to checkout that simplicity pattern. I'm always looking for a good knit pattern , especially dress patterns. Thanks for sharing.
I love all your favorites. I have a couple that you mentioned and found your information very helpful. Looking forward to S8872. Thank you for all your videos. 💜
Hi Zenda! I actually have that dress. But I haven't made it yet. I'm happy to hear that's one you like. Maybe I'll like it too. I've heard great things about it. Thanks for sharing and watching the video!
you have sewn so many dresses that i trust your judgement on which patterns are good ones. :-) i really like that laura ashley dress with the tie neck. it's so lovely. if i didn't already own way too many dress patterns i'd be tempted to hunt that one down.
☺️ I don’t want to enable anyone. But you would look amazing in that Laura Ashley dress. I’m picturing your style now. Look at your fall wardrobe series on IG, I can definitely see you in this dress with a jean jacket, ankle booties and a matching scarf.
I wish I had more time! I already have two Ultimate Wrap Dresses by Sew Over It on my to-sew list, along with two pairs of cosy trousers. Now I realise I need even more dresses.
Hi Bestsy! I'm hoping to make the Sew Over It Eve dress. I've heard such great things about that one. I've owned the pattern for a number of years now and still have yet to sew it. I love a good dress pattern. Maybe I'll get to that sometime soon. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Celeste! Hmmm I don’t sew many tunics. I’ll have to review the few I have made and see what I liked or didn’t like about them. That’s a great question. Thanks for watching.
This was a great video!! I love all the dresses that you've made with those patterns. I only have on TNT so far but it's a more casual style (#s8912). I like it because I don't have any fit issues with it and it's easy to sew! I am looking forward to finding a more elevated TNT dress pattern. Thank you for sharing!
Hey Tee! I really didn’t have many patterns on my TNT list until a few years ago. Mainly, I’m dry picky and I like to sew new and different patterns. Recently, I’ve learned to just make a few of the patterns that work well for my style and body type, because they never disappoint. Thanks for sharing your TNG pattern! I like that pattern. I made a mock-up of it a few years ago when it first released. But never made it 😂 I’ll have to revisit that one. If memory serves me, I think the sleeve pattern was too small for me and it required a FBA I think.
Hi Tia! You sound like me. I've been sewing for 19 years and I have only been sewing buttonholes for 6 of those years 😆 I was so scared. But if you get a machine that will do all the work for you, all you have to do is practice on cutting them open and keeping them in a straight line on your garment. It's easier than you'd think. Happy sewing!
@@crumpetsteaandsewing I am vowing to have attempted both them and zippers before this year is out. Thanks for the encouragement and the tips. ❤️ 💙 💜 💖

Thank you for sharing this list! I always need a full bicep adjustment, too. It’s nice to hear from someone else in the same situation.

Really great picks. My favourite of the year is the Sinclair Valley knit skater dress which is also a free pattern. They sell 7 add on skirts too.

Maybe you can try the Simplicity S9702. There aren't many empire waistline sewing patterns out there with the features you listed.
