Never managed to get Google Play Services set up, but I did manage to get more use out of it. I used a button remapper eventually to turn the play/pause button into a home button, remapped a couple other buttons, then just installed Launcher3. Home button presses can be simulated with ADB for devices that don’t have a hardware or software home button. For me the launcher settings and navbar were missing and I had to delete the original launcher app and try to trigger the pop up for launcher selection with ADB I basically experienced all the same weird oddities. The ApkInstaller app, lack of *proper* root, no notification area (except on the Lock Screen), no navigation bar, and having no way to really fix these. The ApkInstaller app can dump apk’s though, which is pretty cool

As a low level audiophile who watches DankPods often. I find it very cute that you thought Apple would’ve made a Type-C version of their ear pods when they had to legally make their newest iPhones Type-C compatible because of Europe.
I think you can use scrcpy to mirror it's screen to your PC and the controls will be much better Also think you can also rotate, back, home, switch apps in scrcpy with a shortcut
You’ve got no idea how many Chinese middle school students been doing this for years 😂 Play games on watches, translators, electronic dictionaries, calculators, smart measuring rulers, the list goes on and on and on… And the brand means, in literal, “Friend of learning”. Nothing to do with cholesterol.
The original Apple Earpods actually fit my ears perfectly, so much so that I use them with my Android phone. Though, with it being a Samsung S23 Ultra, it unfortunately has no headphone jack, so I have to also carry around a 3.5mm to USB-C adapter, but the Apple adapter has a very low volume on my phone. So a USB-C Earpod clone is quite interesting to me, though I doubt it's good quality. Also, I'd still need 3.5mm for older devices anyway. If only there was an adapter with both USB-C and 3.5mm as outputs, so I don't have to keep attaching/detaching it all the time. Or if Samsung brought back the headphone jack, and microSD card slot while they're at it. And of course, USB-C adapters would still work even with a headphone jack on the phone, in case anyone has a higher quality DAC in their external adapter.
