i love the material on the air jordan 9's chile red and i definitely love the color way. i've been a fan of the air jordan 9's since day one, i almost have every pair of air jordan 9's ever made. with that said there really a great shoe and there a very comfortable shoe, but i still love the air jordan 9's from back in the day to
I actually like these too. I sorta agree with what's being said but I like em lol. I even bought 2 pairs. At least I can wear these without feeling guilty about ruining them.
I don't mind weekly releses, but when they release something like this where the materials are kind of weak, they need to significantly lower the MSRP!
I love your honesty, that’s why I keep my self right here all the time! I personally like this color way over the “first” motorboat version of the shoe. I have the original black and white version Jordan wore in the movie space jam. Never wore the shoe (still in the box) so to find that out about the sleeve and the pinky toe was news to me. Keep up the great work.

Another great video as always! The Jordan brand should take a break and not release "forced shoes" on people or they can release some of the later retros such as #15-#23.
Agreed!!! They also need to focus on expanding colorways for more than just the Jordan 1 & Dunks! And speaking of the 1’s they’re over-saturating with Mids! Rarely putting out some High Top OG’s & when they do you gotta fight bots to even score a chance on a draw smh - & low tops forget it. And I don’t understand the fascination frfr - resell is fire 🔥 tho on most of the 1’s which is funny to me cuz back in my younger days only Unc’s boppin’ the Avenue wore 1’s 😂 Plus they are bar none the worse sneaker for creases - just trying them on, esp with the cheap “genuine leather” wink wink ……

The materials are not the best, but also far from terrible. I’ve seen worse sell out due to hype. These are simply different. For those who like to think outside the box, you will like these 🤙🏼. Flint 9s would be great. I wish the bin 9s would re release as well. These brands are just trying to keep share holders happy at this point. No rhyme or reason for anything anymore. Just profit.
These beat out the Motorboats for me. That black stitching was too harsh and these look way cleaner. He does have a valid point on the materials tho especially at that price point. But anywho..... everybody do you. Opinions matter.
Where's the Laney 5s, White metallic 5s, retro 88 3s. Toro 4s,all the Grapes maybe some steel 10s. Military blues etc. I actually like these but they are loud. It would be a great idea if Jordan brand or Nike would do customers poll or something to that effect of what the people want. Jordan brand keeps pumping em out and bots are snatching them up. After that, it doesn't matter cause the damage is done. Then the leftovers are picked up in store. I just have a bad feeling that resale is going to change how everyone purchases shoes. Like Chris has said so many times, it's ridiculous to have to jump through hoops to get a shoe or a Jordan for that matter. I feel like I've won the freaking lottery for copping a GR Jordan 4 at Footlocker.

9s just dont appeal to me at all...I wish they'd drop an 8...they're dropping a dope ass colorway in the 8s but its a women's exclusive which is very frustrating
Another great video review. I have always been a fan of the Air Jordan IX 9 model. Regardless of the general dislike, I will be purchasing a pair of these. As for the ease of purchasing a pair , we shall see but, again, with the seemingly general dislike, this may be a easier pick up than usual. As for Jordan Brand retro releases, I would like them to release ORIGINAL colorways, especially ones that haven't been retro'd in quite a while. And just hoping the Air Jordan XX3 23 retro is released in the original colorway.
I've disliked 9s in general but I like these and will go for them. I know about the motorboats but I am not willing to go pay resale for them either. This and the heritage 1s are the only shoes I was on the fence about and changed my mind on so far. Wish those 8s were men's. Speaking of 8s, what happened to the release of the Rui Hachimura 8s?
I think global sales have been slowed down. Nike started to release so many shoes in large volume recently. I have seen large release in Jordan 11 12 & 1. Popular Colors. Still have stock after 2 weeks normally sold out within 2 days.
I wasn’t thrilled after getting lucky in the SNKRS raffle, but; getting them in-hand made me feel better. They look great on my feet. I have to thank you for suggesting going up half a size. That made a huge difference in the fit. You’re the GOAT for sneaker reviews. 👊🏽🙏🏽

I’m one of the people that love the material on the chili red nines because they don’t crease it’s like a fabric the only problem is if it gets dirty you gotta really scrub it out it’s like getting a stain on a sweater
Changes are just enough to change the overall look of the motorboat release.I like the omission of the black stitching on the upper more of a cleaner look.

I like the colorway my only complaint is the Jordan logo on the right side facing the backward.. is it that hard for the designer to make it face it forward.. they used to do this on Jordan 11 concord but now they are now facing forward
They should take a break instead of trying to shoehorn colorways like this into the release calendar. This is why I always laugh when they say they'll never put a signature Jordan up on Nike By You because they're worried about "diluting the brand". 😂 Releases like this do more to dilute the brand than NikeiD ever could.
The only 9s I ever liked were the OG black/white in Space Jam…(never got those) and the NRG models that look like hiking boots (which is what I think 9s are at their soul… BOOTS!) I finally scored a pair of the black/gum NRG on a restock…so I’m good for life.
I like the 9s more than I did back in the day. As a Chicago Bulls fan I want to like these, I hope they look good in hand. The color of the upper doesn’t have me 100% sold though.
