Just a reminder, there are a lot of folks who watch yalls videos and appreciate all the hard work and dedication y’all put in to making these videos, editing, and still doing day jobs and day to day stuff. For the ones who appreciate it, we know it’s hard work and hours behind a computer. Also, protection of the expensive equipment used…… Keep up the great work, y’all are doing awesome and hopefully the channel does well in the future. Some people can’t afford or or have the tools to do swaps and restorations so we live vicariously through y’all! I love y’all’s channel and y’all’s humbleness through the comments. Y’all are my top 3 channels with vicegrip garage and morale repair. 🇺🇸
We appreciate this comment so much! And your timing is impeccable! 😆 This week and this 63 K10 have not gone as planned... We usually film a video Saturday/Sunday, and I edit all week to get it done for Friday. This week, we finished filming on Wednesday, so I'm frantically trying to get this one done in time. 😬 It's a lot to keep up with, but this whole RUclips thing has been awesome! We say it a lot, but we really do appreciate everyone who watches, comments on, and has shared our stuff. Thanks again for your comment! It really does mean a lot! 👍👍
@@UglyTruckExperience eh don’t be frantic. You have the channel that people will watch regardless of when you post a video. It’s not worth getting grey hairs over. Just do what you gotta do and love it and everything will be okay lol If you’re every one the fort Riley/junction city Kansas area. Look for a squarebody suburban(you’ll never miss it) and wave lol. Also, there are a lot of nice cars for sale around this county so if you wanna grab something cheap and decent, they’re here
I just found this reply! Thanks again! It really does mean a lot. There are some C10 shows in the KC area that we have planned to go to, but something always comes up. Maybe we can meet in the middle one of these days!
Good video, food for thought is get a chain wrench for this engines to turn over. I use a 24" one to wrap around dampner that way you have lots of leverage and a great bite, plus you won't damage the crank bolt if it has one as well. Again enjoying your videos especially the LS swap ones. I plan on doing a few in the future and your easy wiring technique with the original fuse boxes are excellent. I also have a youtube page I started last year but it's more for fun...lol Later Rick
Thanks Rick! We did try a chain wrench on the balancer, but I edited out a lot of "the struggle" for the video. 😆 This thing was STUCK big time. Here's a link to the next video, and we have another one on this truck coming up soon! ruclips.net/video/ZGC7FCCONm4/видео.html And plenty more LS content on the way too! If there's something specific you'd like to see, let us know and we'll do our best to help you out! Thanks for watching!
That's a nice truck its very solid my brother has a 1966 C30 with the 9 foot step side .it needs some body panels due to salt use on our winter roads up here in eastern Canada .Keep up the good work i like your approach to showing how to get things done i also like your ls videos.Karl from eastern Canada
Thanks Karl! I've been watching Fitzee's Fabrication and trying to get up the nerve to tackle some of the rust on our trucks. I think he's up there in your neck of the woods also! We appreciate you tuning in! 👍 --Emily
No fire ants here thankfully. Whenever we are out doing work on the ground I'm always watching for the latest snake to come through which happens occasionally.
have you ever thought about putting air to the cyl. that is at TDC as long as the valve are ok I know when I have changed springs and put air in the cylinder it will push it to the bottom
Yep, that will definitely push a piston down when they are not stuck. I did try air on this one while I was prying on it with no luck. The problem with air is it compresses. That grease will not. Thank for watching.
That would probably be easier but the people who own this one would like to hear it and drive it in its original condition. Sentimental stuff you know..
Now I'm just hungry for tacos and I'm holding out till thing is up and running. It's my driving force. Thanks Chad. Loving your latest videos.... Jerry
If you love dogs and old cars, you're in the right place! We keep a good eye on them, and we give them a new ball when they get too dirty. We appreciate you watching!

Great video! Lots of patience. Good job 👍🏻
It's worth the effort! Thanks for watching!

Nice video. Your editing is hilarious
It's nice to see the human side of Jerry. I sprawl out on the ground at least once on most of my projects too!
Thanks Bill! I'm figuring this editing thing out as we go!
Full disclosure, we both got Covid during this video... so he's not just being dramatic. 🤣🤣
Love it!
Thanks for watching! 👋

It's in very good shape, and you don't see many 4x4's! Thanks for watching! 👋

Glad you got it unstuck but really it sure would have been just as easy to have swapped the 230 for a 350. That’s my own opinion.
That would probably be easier but the people who own this one would like to hear it and drive it in its original condition. Sentimental stuff you know..
Try using Transmission fluid it has a bunch of detergent. If that don't work LS swap it is.
Transmission fluid does work pretty well in some of these. Thanks
Tacos will git you every time.
Now I'm just hungry for tacos and I'm holding out till thing is up and running. It's my driving force. Thanks Chad. Loving your latest videos.... Jerry
