I'm following this series and loving it. I had a friend who started playing this game and he's still using the original harvester the game gave you. Can't wait to start part 2. Liked and subscribed!

Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou, you should be sponsored by Giant's, because unlike them you know how to make a tutorial. Great job Sir and thanks again this has Stopped me from selling the game that I wanted so badly to play, but kept giving up after multiple attempts with there tutorials.
Hi can’t thank you enough for this guide. One thing I realised is that if you drive vehicles to the shop and park them round the back you can sell them for 20% more than if you just do it via your garage 🍻 💰
Very cool series of beginner vids. I was gifted Farm Sim with all DLC content for Christmas and did the tutorials in game (didn’t have issues until I hit forestry)..... which took me a fair bit of time. Anyhow, I just started a new farmer career mode and found myself not knowing what I needed to do next and what equipment I needed to accomplish the task. I’m so glad I ran into your vids because I haven’t a clue but can really see myself enjoying this game once I know what the equipment does and what can be accomplished. I believe using your how to for beginners will give me the heads up I need and thanks a ton for it, new subscriber for sure. I saw someone was having problems with mods, hopefully those have been resolved as I’m gonna try tonight to follow along. I’m guessing that if mods are down, I’ll need to try to buy equipment already available in game or with DLCs which may prove difficult as I like others don’t know what the different equipment does. I’ll work through it though. Thanks.
Thanks! And welcome to Harv's World! I'm glad you're enjoying the series. I don't expect you'll have an issue getting the mods I introduce you to. ModHub in game is "usually" reliable. If you ever have questions feel free to give me a shout. Best way is to join my Discord server: discord.gg/knVYcbqw But, if Discord isn't your thing, You can always reach me here. Thanks again!
Harv, excellent series! I had not played since FS17 and your tutorial series was a great way for me to relearn FS19. Your introduction to mods and the changes you made to the starter farm were really helpful and quickly reintroduced me the basic play mechanics. I guess I will probably get on the hype wagon with the next update, since I picked up the current version when Epic featured it a while ago. For me, the next big choice will be whether to add the precision farming and seasons mods once I get my farm established. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and making the walk through series.
Welcome back to the world of Farm Sim. I'm happy to hear you got some help from my videos. I like both Precision Farming and Seasons, but don't think I'd play with them all of the time. They're just something to change up the game once in a while, but that's just me. Thank you, and let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you so much for putting this tutorial together, it's the best one i have seen on youtube and has also got you a new subscriber. I will now be spending time watching the rest of this wonderful series. 👍😀
Thanks for this series. Watching has finally convinced me to pull the trigger and get the game. Looking forward to following along and learning how to play.
Mark do it you won't regret it i recommend the platinum pack i did not see the reason to get the season pass but i did get the one that has the expansion and the DLC have fun. i bought the game on May 10 it is a lot of entertainment for the small cash up front.
just spent an evening working through this. Got to the end and realised i'm missing weights so will have to rewatch to see which ones you bought, unless they're all the same! but just liked and sub'd anyway. Great tutorial!
Thank you for these videos. I think they are very clear. I'm following all of your steps because even though the game has some cool starting tutorials, when you start your farm I feel like I'm left alone with very little explanation on what to do and what I need, and the game explains stuff, but for me it's not enough, furthermore no explanations on icons, no hints ecc ecc, so that's why I need a guide to start with, and I think this one is great. :D
I'm really happy to hear my videos helped you out. Yes, the in-game tutorials don't quite cover everything you need to know. If you ever have questions, please ask. Thank you so much.
Like others I bought the game, I did the tutorials really, really, badly (can't figure out how to change my wheel to the correct degree of rotation) I came looking for a really simple walk through and was really surprised and pleased to see there are many people who are totally baffled, I assumed it was just me as I am not a gamer, already feeling more confident that i'll work it out the amount of buttons to bid is pretty daunting though
hey, just wanted to say that I just bought FS 19 to see if FS 22 is feasible. This video is a great tool for FS 19 - going to use it word by word. Thankyou.
@@HarvsWorld I will - figure there is a lot of work to do to just set up the game - might be some days, lol. Question - are you going to do some type of similar tutorial for the new parts of FS 22?
Hi I was addicted to FS17 until Forza Horizon 4 came along! Getting back into FS19 and there are a Lot of changes! So thanks for these vids so I can play catch up hopefully without too many Catastrophes! 💖👍
I'm happy to hear you're getting into FS19, and that my videos are helping. If you ever have questions, please feel free to ask. We learn through our catastrophes! Good luck and thanks!
I have a tip too. If you intall a mod for house, then you can sell the house the game gives you for $90,000 and buy one for $25,000. That gives you $65,000 in your pocket. :)
Thanks Harv! Xbox put this on game pass. I find myself trying games that I might never buy and this is one of them. They often end up way more fun then the big named titles. I can tell thet once I get past the learning curve I'm going to enjoy this one. Thanks you for getting me through the basics.
Hey Harv will you be doing a series similar to this for fs22, as although I really got to grips with fs19 with much thanks to you for this series, fs22 on first impressions looks great if a little daunting and I think a series like this will help me and many others start off 😉
I have another tip. There is a mod called Farm Buildings Pack. when you search for it, the picture is of a red and white barn, and a matching house. The barn is HUGE! You can store vehicles and equipment in the bottom of it, and you can use it to store extra straw and hay. It hold 10,000,000 liters. The multi-fruit silo hold 10,000,000 liters too, of everything. There is also an animal food buying station. With that you can buy stuff already harvested like, corn, wheat, oats, potatoes, etc. You can even buy TMR. If you want to start off the bat with animals on your farm. I recommend you get one of those. It also has a matching house if you are the type of person who wants everything to match. :)
Like so many posting here I bought the game did the tutorials very badly and then was completely lost I appreciate you sharing this mod, I just downloaded it, thanks again
Thank you so much just finished this tutorial in game. I did figure out why I couldn’t load mods on ps4 maybe same problem others are having ( no patience) I loaded the game and immediately opened mod hub and started trying to download mods. I didn’t give ps4 time to load the mod hub completely. Give it a little time and the mods you suggested are all in both top and all.
Ok so I watched all 9 starters guide's and first mistake when carrying the cut down tree was to tip my tractor over! I managed to upright it by pushing it with the other tractor simple mistake lol second mistake when re filling the seeder with fertilizer (after doing half the field with soyabeans accidentally switching to potatoes. Luckily I noticed fairly quickly and switched back and re done where I'd put the potatoes then it got dark and it took ages to find my lights but apart from those mistakes it's going well 😂🤣 (I'm playing on Xbox series x) so I'm going to carry on following your guides as I think you e done a fantastic job of explaining how to do things.
Nice beginners guide. I'll be trying it out on one of my boys who wants to start playing FS19. Regarding the fertilizer/lime spreader. That one has a known issue that sometime when you detach it the support leg extends into the ground rather than on top of the ground which makes it flip all over the place when you try to re-attach. It makes the tractor flip as well sometimes. On a side note. Have you seen Giants latest news regarding soil types and sampling. An interesting addition to the game don't you think..
Thanks. I hope this series helps your son get into FS19. The more the merrier, of course! I've used that spreader many times with no problems, so I wasn't aware of that one. Yes, I've seen the blog post about soil types and sampling. Looks very interesting, indeed. I'm really looking forward to finding out how it affects productivity, and if there are any other affects we need to compensate for.
@@HarvsWorld I think an equipment walk through would be a good idea. but split into sections. maybe something like basic crop production , basic animal husbandry then advanced crop production and finally etc etc. rather than vehicle types in themselves. I have the test subject ready . My 12 year old is getting FS19 as part of his birthday present next week so he'll be eager to learn.
@@Rusty-GB I think you're right. Good idea to break it down into sections the way you describe. Grass/chaff/silage would also be another good section. I can't wait to hear how your son enjoys his birthday present, and hopefully we'll get him well on the way to becoming a virtual farmer! :)
@@HarvsWorld I am not sure if you go into the equipment walk through in the next 4 tutorials but if not I too think it would be a great idea and would definitely give it a watch
@@Pep8691 I haven't done that yet, but was definitely considering it. Now it's a done deal. I'm at a point where it may be just the right time to go through the shop menu and explain what everything is for. Might take more than one episode, though.
If you're playing on PC, you can install the Global Company mod, and the Global Company Addon Icons mod. The mod icons are much better than the base game icons.
@@HarvsWorld I’ve also only started yesterday with some tutorials then did the in game ravenwood tutorial. I played from 7pm until about 11:40 this morning

@@raymondguy7680 I'm sorry to hear that you have to endure that, but I totally understand what you mean. Yes, games like can help to relieve some of the desires to experience other things, or get back to things that we miss. Thank you for sharing that.
I have another tip for beginners. In the mods, there is a mod for a government subsidy sign. Download it! Get it and put it on your farm. You can put as many down as you want. It will pay you $150,000 an hour. I usually place quite a few to start out then generally sell a few after a while. GREAT WAY TO GET SOME FAST $$$$!
Thank you so much ! Great video's for me to learn fm19! One question. The big bag loader won't attach to the front loader. You ve heard that kind of problem before?
Thank you for this amazing tutorial! One question, when trying to detatch the 6m plow from the front hitch of the tractor, it won't let me/ it tries to take off the bag loader and front arm? Any help for just getting that plow off?
My guess is that you don't have the plow selected. There is a small icon in the top left of your screen that looks like a tractor, and it will show you spots where implements are attached as well. Whichever of those icons is "lit" is what you have selected. On PC, you use the "G" key to cycle through the selection. Simply make sure you have the plow selected, then it should detach - "Q" on PC. Hope this helps. Thank you!
sell buildings/deco but hold off on rest, take the farm equipment to the store and sell for more, buy a bigger trailer, load crops and sell to who ever pays more.......takes longer but pays more
Loving the vids so far. Just an FYI, i've just been through the mods store in game and it looks like a fair few of these are gone. I went through every tab as well just in case i'd missed them. shame as i was going to do a follow along gameplay.
I just checked the mods... both from the website, and in-game. Every one of them is still available. I'm not sure what happened on your end Oddly, sometimes when you do a search, the in-game ModHub will switch the tab you're searching. If you're on PC, there are links to each mod in the video description.
@@burnt_iron4479 German Greenhorn here. I have not found all of them in-game too, so I downloaded them (zips) manually. Just put the zips into ...\Users\[username]\Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2019\mods
Quick tip for newbies if you read the comments first. Take all of the equipment you can drive/tow to the store and around the right side you can sell those items there. For instance, I could get $9728 after I unload it but sell directly from garage, I took it to the store I got $11,673 for it. I got roughly an EXTRA $45.000 from taking my moveable stuff there.
For people who are a little more dense like me, make sure you have show all mods selected and not "show top mods". I got discouraged but figured it out, it was R3 on ps4😅😅
Harv, over a year ago I started my farm but life got in the way so made little progress. Back on the farm again and starting from scratch with your assistance. I have setup my Logitech G29 wheel for the game. There are 22 buttons to program on the wheel. What commands would you recommend I program for these 22 locations? As a secondary control would you also recommend I use a Logitech Joystick as well or stick with a keyboard for the balance of the commands. Good you have dirt under my nails again. Looking forward to your advice. Cheers
very helpful tutorial, thanks. only suggestion would be maybe to explain the basic concepts of farming and what you do, and then explain why we need all this equipment. I followed the whole video and I still don't know what it takes to actually farm. like explain "first you'll till the fields, then you'll plant seeds, then whatever". I have all the equipment, I just don't know the steps to even use it.

I'm really happy to hear that you found it helpful. If you ever have questions, don't hesitate to ask. Thank you!
Wish i saw this before, it really helps for beginners or even intermediates
I've been wanting to get into this game and just could never quite figure it out. This is fantastic, thank you! Liked and subbed! :)
You're very welcome. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, and welcome to Harv's World!
Just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to make these videos and education new players. I just started playing this a few days ago and had gone through the tutorials included with the game but it did not go into this much detail like you did. These videos help me understand what is needed to done to successfully farm in the game. Thank you again 👍
Glad I could help! I always love to hear from new players who are learning to love this game as much as I do. Thank you!
This game really isn’t easy to people who have no farming experience. you made this so much easier. Thank you so much
Absolutely - it's got a steep learning curve if you just want to learn about farming and agriculture, but have no experience. Thank you!
Gold Standard of walkthroughs! Thank you for putting this together, so awesome, easy to follow and understand!
Glad it was helpful! My pleasure!
I'm following this series and loving it. I had a friend who started playing this game and he's still using the original harvester the game gave you. Can't wait to start part 2. Liked and subscribed!
So glad you're finding it helpful. I did the same thing as your friend when I started playing. Glad I learn more! Thank you very much, and welcome to Harv's World!
Such a clear, straightforward, pleasant to listen to, step-by-step tutorial! Thank you so much for taking the time to make these. I have gladly subscribed!
Thank you very much. Welcome to Harv's World. If you ever have questions, don't hesitate to ask.
I come back to watch this over and over. It is just awesome.
Yessss! Amazing, thank you! I never wouldve known half these functions without you!!
You’re welcome. Don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
Harv, this series is SOOO HELPFUL! I've been playing for about a week now in my free time and the game felt like there was so much more than I knew about even after playing the tutorial. I'm also on console and I know there is a substantial difference between PC and console in terms of mods but thank you for including us!
You’re welcome! Happy to hear that you’re getting some use out of it. Thanks!
as of today 2/12/2021 I see that farm simulator 19 is on sale on steam, I have had it in my wish list for quite some time, so I came to youtube and wanted to see if I could find some kind of tutorial on how to play the game, your channel came up I just finished this first video and I have to say this was incredibly informative, I have zero experience on this game and I just learned so much from this video, I will continue the series, just wanted to thank you for creating the video, you earned a new sub
Thank you, and welcome to Harv's World! I appreciate the feedback, and I'm happy to hear you've found my series helpful. If you ever have questions, don't hesitate to ask. You're also welcome to join my Discord. Lots of folks in there who are happy to answer questions if I'm not around. Thanks again! discord.gg/F5YctMWY
great in depth video. I have memory problems and have been away from the game a long time this Has helped me a lot and look forward to watching the next episode. Thank you
Thank you for watching. I'm really happy to hear that this has helped you get back into the game.
Thank you! I've struggled to get going with this game, you've helped me a lot
Glad to hear it, Mr. Prime Minister!
Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou, you should be sponsored by Giant's, because unlike them you know how to make a tutorial. Great job Sir and thanks again this has Stopped me from selling the game that I wanted so badly to play, but kept giving up after multiple attempts with there tutorials.
So nice of you to say. Thank you, and I'm glad we got you sorted out. :)
Brilliant Brilliant ... Love listening to you .. easy and enjoyable.. Great start for me after 35 hours of frustrations..
Happy to hear it helped you out. Thank you so much for all of the kind words.
Hi can’t thank you enough for this guide. One thing I realised is that if you drive vehicles to the shop and park them round the back you can sell them for 20% more than if you just do it via your garage 🍻 💰
You're very welcome. Yes, that's one thing I forgot to mention in the guide. Selling at the shop will give you that 20% increase. Thanks!
Thank you so much! I’m really happy to hear that you’re finding it helpful.
Thanks for this series. Watching has finally convinced me to pull the trigger and get the game. Looking forward to following along and learning how to play.
My pleasure. I'm glad this helped you out, and I really hope you enjoy the game as much as I do.
Me too
Mark do it you won't regret it i recommend the platinum pack i did not see the reason to get the season pass but i did get the one that has the expansion and the DLC have fun. i bought the game on May 10 it is a lot of entertainment for the small cash up front.
just spent an evening working through this. Got to the end and realised i'm missing weights so will have to rewatch to see which ones you bought, unless they're all the same! but just liked and sub'd anyway. Great tutorial!
It’s been so long, that I don’t remember myself. Thank you!
@@HarvsWorld thank you!
Thanks for the tutorials. New to game and love it. Your a really good teacher!
Glad you like them! Thank you so much. :)
Bringing the vehicles to the shop would sell for more money rather than selling thru the menu. Good video!
Excellent point. Thank you!
I had no idea how to play, but after watching this I think I'm a pro player
Happy to hear you found it useful. Welcome to the pros! :)
hey, just wanted to say that I just bought FS 19 to see if FS 22 is feasible. This video is a great tool for FS 19 - going to use it word by word. Thankyou.
Glad to hear it. I hope it works out for you. If you ever have questions, let me know. Thank you, sir!
@@HarvsWorld I will - figure there is a lot of work to do to just set up the game - might be some days, lol. Question - are you going to do some type of similar tutorial for the new parts of FS 22?
Thanks man! I could tell it was gonna be quite the slog. Grateful for this
You’re most welcome
Good tip!
Best vid I've seen by a mile. Thank you.
Thank you!
This series is so good mate, thanks!
Glad you like them!
The mods are fantastic thank you fs modders!
I couldn't agree more.
Thanks Harv! Xbox put this on game pass. I find myself trying games that I might never buy and this is one of them. They often end up way more fun then the big named titles. I can tell thet once I get past the learning curve I'm going to enjoy this one. Thanks you for getting me through the basics.
My pleasure. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Thanks!
I decided to start over and have your tutorial there to guide me as I was having such issues with the contracts. Here's to attempt 2.0!
This is amazing. I just started playing and this helped me so much. Thank you!
Glad it helped! Thank you for saying so. :)
Thank you for adding a place in your video for ads, instead of having them pop up mid-sentence.
I don't always have control over that, but I do try. Thanks.
Just bought this game during the steam summer sale.
Excellent. I hope you enjoy it.
Ahh yes, same
i just started & have no idea what to even do...I'm binge watching this.
Thanks man. You got my sub. Just got into this since it looked cool and '22 is right around the corner.
Thanks for the sub! Glad you found this series helpful.
Top notch walk through. Thank You!
So happy to hear that you found it helpful. Thank you!
thank you for making this video, im enjoying the game a lot more now
Glad to hear it. Thank you!
Thanks again dollar amounts changed some since the video came out but I still managed all the equipment changes as suggested
Harv, you're a champ, great series. Can't wait to get through this with you. Pitter Patter let's get at 'er!
Thank you! I'm happy to hear this series is helping you out. :)
Just started playing FS and this help alot thank you for the help you just got a new subscriber here 👍
Thank you! Welcome aboard. :)
Liked & Subscribed! Exactly what I was looking for. 🤙🏽
Glad I could help out. Thanks, and welcome to Harv's World!
Great help! Thank you for making this video
My pleasure. Thank you for saying so!
I’m happy to hear you got the MOD issue sorted out. Thank you!
What a vid man thanks you got yourself a like and new sub vary helpful 👍 👌 gona watch more of your stuff bud 👍
Thank you so much. Glad to have you aboard. Welcome to Harv's World!
thank you !! This video gives me the good start I needed so much.
Glad to hear it helped. Thank you!
Thanks so much for this series of videos!
Watched almost this entire playlist today, and kept thinking, this is great info, I’ll use this but I won’t copy it exactly. And I lied.
LOL - well, at least you're honest about it. Glad you found it useful. Thank you!
I'm glad you were able to get things sorted out. That's how we learn, by making mistakes. If you ever have questions don't hesitate to ask. Thank you!
Thank you so much. This is great!!!!
My pleasure. Glad you found it helpful. :)
Thanks for these videos really helped me out, keep up the good work
Will do! Thank you!
If you switch to 1.25x video speed you might thank me, very informative vid tho thanks for the tips 😚
Thanks!
Thank you so much! Appreciate it. Liked and subbed

hey harv iv started your tutorial so far so good
Glad to hear it! Good luck.
Thank you so much
My Pleasure. Glad you enjoyed it. :)
Such a great tutorial! Thank you.
My pleasure. Thank YOU.
Totally awesome video. I can see many things I did wrong and better ways to start off. I'mma new subscriber Thanks much
Thanks, Ray. I'm glad this could help you out. Welcome to Harv's World!
Great job man. Without you playing game would be preatty damn hard for me. I know nothi g about all this farming stuf.
This really helped me thanks!!
Glad to hear it. Let me know if you have any questions.
As I reported, most of the mods were not in the store. However thank you for the links. I was able to download and manually add to the mod folder.
They're there, but ModHub can be a hassle sometimes. Glad you found a way to get it sorted out. :)
Excellent! Thank you.
Love this helped a bunch thanks man 👍
You're welcome. Thanks!
And yes an easy access description of the grain and hay icons would be lovely
If you're playing on PC, you can install the Global Company mod, and the Global Company Addon Icons mod. The mod icons are much better than the base game icons.
@@HarvsWorld I’ve also only started yesterday with some tutorials then did the in game ravenwood tutorial. I played from 7pm until about 11:40 this morning
@@raymondguy7680 Wow... that's a seriously long session. Speaks to how much fun this game can get, especially starting out.
@@HarvsWorld yeah and I live on five acres, have been mowing fields with big tractors and cutting down trees for fire wood since I was a little kid. Now that I’m partially paralyzed I have to get that feeling of hard labor ya know?
@@raymondguy7680 I'm sorry to hear that you have to endure that, but I totally understand what you mean. Yes, games like can help to relieve some of the desires to experience other things, or get back to things that we miss. Thank you for sharing that.
Super helpful. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for saying so.
Some people don't have internet 😔
Sometimes the game you buy is the game you get
Very true.
Not a bad tip. It’s your game, play it your way. Personally, I enjoy the challenge of earning money to build up my farm.
@@HarvsWorld I understand. I do work hard in my game. That extra cash comes in handy in case i need to lease or buy extra equipment or something. :)
@@amycummings9441 Never meant to imply that you didn't. Was only speaking for myself. :)
Thank you so much ! Great video's for me to learn fm19!
One question. The big bag loader won't attach to the front loader. You ve heard that kind of problem before?
Yes. You bought the wrong one. Make sure you’re buying from the front loader category. Thanks!!
Thank you so much you are awesome
My pleasure. Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you!
@@HarvsWorld no problem have a good day!
@@kmannion You too.
thanks buddy, nice work
My pleasure. Thanks!
Thank you!
sell buildings/deco but hold off on rest, take the farm equipment to the store and sell for more, buy a bigger trailer, load crops and sell to who ever pays more.......takes longer but pays more
Very true... once you have some experience.
@@HarvsWorld possible. it maybe because i'm in Uk or something for all i know.
@@burnt_iron4479 German Greenhorn here. I have not found all of them in-game too, so I downloaded them (zips) manually. Just put the zips into ...\Users\[username]\Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2019\mods
@@thomasb.4578 Yeah I got them from a few different mod sites in the end thanks.
Glad to hear you got it sorted out. :)
THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!! 🤗
I take it you found the mods. You’re very welcome. 😁
That's what the in game tutorial is for👍🏽
Based on your next comment, I think you've got this figured out. 😀
brilliant video, thank you!
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
