@@magma4168 I think they did pretty good. Everyone makes mistakes but the important thing is when he found out he was going to be a further although it was stressful he took reasonability and did his job. A lot of men don't do that, no matter their age.
Nope. For his age georgie is an asshole. Yes he is a responsible father. But that doesnt mean you can say "he never acts like an asshole". At least compared to sheldon and missy, georgie is the most asshole enough. Missy still have some faith on God and sometime she is protayed to do a good deed based on christian.

Agreed. He's an amazing young man. He tries to be helpful, kind, knows when to be quiet, does well with the baby.. he'll be an awesome dad.
I agree too. I don't like the way they wrote him in the Big Bang, but I think his character is great in this series.
Actually if they really wanted when Big George passes away and Sheldon goes to another state to go to school, they could keep going and change the name from Young Sheldon to the Coopers Show. They have done it before and I think it would be a hit providing the cast would want to do it. Iain Armitage could come back when he wants too. I know I would keep watching for sure.
FACTS!!!!! Honestly i only started watching young Sheldon because of his and Mandy's storyline, its had me on a mental rollercoaster, and this scene literally made me cry 😭
@@MrHans818 it is the Coopers Show already, lol. And Sheldon is one of the least interesting characters in it. I Love Iain Armitage's performance, but there's just nowhere to develop Sheldon as a character, since he's already pretty much caught up to his adult self.
Easily, the most tender episode of this show I can recall. Goergie has become such a standup young man. And the best father you could ever hope for!

She is very afraid she is fated to be the same kind of woman as her mother & feels Georgie can be a better man & reach his dreams w/ some-other mate than herMandy.
But there has to be somekind of longer-term continuance between Mandy&Georgie, as he has to connect in w/ Mandy's dad such that he learns the tire-business. Georgie is destine to make a million-bucks & become the DoctorTire of Texas - "don't patch, buy New!"

Love how Mandy leaned in for the kiss, and not Georgie, telling he didn't want to force anything on her !
I love how Georgie and Mandy's relationship developed and now there is a mutual connection I like how Mandy allowed him to still be a teenager and give his space without any hostility or resentment, but I also like how Georgie has grown into a wonderful young man! Love this storyline so far!
He had the boldness to approach her in the laundermat, where they met. She was impressed by that, assuming he was a few yrs older than he let on, & she, feeling lonely & some-what unattractive & rejected, sought to conceal her own age. What harm could it do? & her life recently had been boring. Let go & have a little bit of fun! Soon enough, she'd see this fellow again & the `fun' would get alittle more fun. Sometimes, a girl has just got to have it!
The writers did a very good job with both of thier characters.
His dad is also very kind and caring. His dad doesn't get enough credit. You can see glimpses of George: Missy's period; talks with Sheldon; talks with Mary. Georgie is mirroring his dad.
Not to mention him teaching Missy baseball and being supportive when she wanted to play. And always trying to be there for her, even when she pushed him away
man this kid has matured fast. literally like 2 seasons ago he was a normal kid and now its like hes 30 years old.
Mandy is 29/30. That's not saying much.

I think Georgie and Missy are the best characters on the show.
Yes this show if the people in charge have any sense it's no longer about Sheldon but it's about the rest of the family and their struggles and joys. I mean Sheldon and his genius can just take you so far. But Misty Georgie Mary and George have a lot more ventures to take us on

The Georgie, aka "George" Big Bang is such a different person.
Yah. But in BBT "The Sibling Realignment", Georgie mentioned that he pays three alimony checks, meaning that he's been married three times. I guess that'll mean that even if he and Mandy get married they're going to divorce sometime in the future.

I’m remembering when George told Georgie he got one son as a genius and the other as a clown, and Georgie said, “I like clowns. They make people happy.” 😭♥️
I'm amazed at how well Georgie has matured! I know he got Mandy pregnant but has been there the whole time since. Been a good dad, watching out for Mandy, etc.
Too bad Mandy didn't let him know how she really feels ages ago.

Actually I kind of agree with Lily. I never dated anyone ... didn't even talk to boys then along come a person who had a body count of 25+ , he told me I was the one. That was 7 years ago... I'm still untouched, got ghosted, gaslighted by him every year for 11 months but by mid of 2020 I blocked him for good. Loyalty is a rare thing to find... I'll be 35 in June. I'm still waiting. And before you all jump the gun, I paid my own Bill's and had my own money. With I think back now all I recall is how much I felt at home when he'd talk me put of my depression. My family life is a misery and I moved away to earn money do I could pull my mum away from my narcissistic father... turns out the live of my life was the same thing.

It took at least 6 months for my wife to notice me. I cared that relationship as the most precious thing, I loved her. Now I'm 38 and we have two daughters.

I love how this show ... this time period ... encourages and celebrates young people growing up, becoming responsible adults. Currently, so many are being encouraged to remain irresponsible (society's fault ... Or name a group you dislike) and children. Just LOVE this aspect of the show.
To me this was the best adaptation of a BBT character. You really see hes a good person.

When i first saw how Georgie was at the start of young sheldon i couldnt see how he ended up the caring older brother in big bang theory who took care of the house, mom, sister and protected sheldon from all of it so he could get his education after their dad passed away but his character has really grown up so i definitely see it now.

Georgie had to be the adult in the house after his dad dies. His maturity kept his family togther at least for a time. There was a Big Bang Theory episode that deals with Sheldon and Georgie's relationship that touches on these issues.
Honestly Georgie and Mandy are made for each other!!! Age doesn't matter, they are soulmates. You can tell by the way Georgie cares so much for Mandy and the baby!! His character is just so much better now and mature.....i hope Mandy says yes.
That was actually a bomb . It is so good to see that they are developing georgie character so well . We are so used to sheldon character at the moment and there is nothing new in it but Georgie bring something new to the table.

This show just keeps getting better. The first couple of series weren't that great, but once the character development properly got going, and there were serious situations taking place, I got hooked.

some plots in young Sheldon were changed from the big bang theory they aren't sticking to the storyline that sheldon told in tbbt so who knows we may get lucky
The show has already differed from the plot of big bang, so it's possible that they will keep Mandy and Georgie. They are a fan favorite after all!
Right now they haven’t differed from TBBT’s plot at all. They’ve shown a different perspective, but right now to my knowledge they haven’t contradicted any facts

We don't know what happened offscreen...but I think he realized the mother of his child is the most important person in his life. He loves her...and wanted to be with her. This being he wanted to marry her. Make her his wife. Awwww. Mandy and C.C. are everything to Georgie.
i know he lied, but the age gap is concerning and Georgie practically threw his life away. its his fault i know but they should have considered abortion.
@@simaalmutlak7744 It was Mandy's choice. And she wanted to keep the baby. Both Mandy and Georgie were at fault for lying...but Mandy did admit her real age before anything really happened. Georgie did maintain his lie so he can have sex with her. It wouldn't be rape because the age of content in Texas is 17.

An amazing moment on this show I pray they go a different path than the self described Sheldon's selfish view from that other show.
When this shorts showed, I wanted to see young sheldon & the moment Georgie & George showed with other supporting characters along with messy. It is anything but young sheldon. Georgie is the star & he got the vibes of Patrick Swaze of Dirty Dancing and vibes of cast of Grease all rolled into one. I think this kid is going places
