I like how the show took a turn and focused on family not just sheldon
I honestly can’t help but feel as the show went on despite being called young Sheldon these past few seasons have felt more like a Georgie and missy story more then anything, Sheldon honestly has felt like an afterthought so much lately. But I’m not saying the show is bad because of that
It's not bad at all. Sheldon is the worst thing about his own show and the writers know that. I wish they had a way of taking him out of the show. Every other character is really good but he's insufferable
@@Mrcool210 why do you think they're sending him to Germany?
Sheldon is a hard character to write for when his entire character development happens on TBBT, which means the character basically stays the same for the entire show. This naturally makes him less interesting compared to Georgie and Missy because they have actual character development. That is why calling the show Young Sheldon doesn't really work, The Cooper family works much better because the show is exactly that, a show about the Coopers.
@@Mrcool210 Unfortunately because all of Sheldon's character development where he gets less annoying happens on another show, basically means Sheldon's character doesn't change. Sheldon needs to be annoying, cause he was exactly that in seasons 1-2 of TBBT. That is why I think the writers sorta screwed themselves over.

It's just that Georgie was by Mandy's side the entire time, never backing down from his responsibility, hell, he was ready to marry her when he first thought about the situation.
Georgie freaking deserves this, for being such a mature teenage boy.

@@MrMonkey2150 they never specify that he’s unmarried, just that he has been through three divorces and that two of his ex-wives wished him Merry Christmas. Maybe he marries Mandy, divorces her, and the other two wives are him looking for what he had with her - hence why they’re married again.

Here’s how I rectify that: I’m hoping that even they get divorced they remarry after his second marriage fails. He is still a car mechanic in modern day so maybe he goes back to working at the family business after remarrying?

I do wonder though sense we know they end their marriage in divorce if Georgie ever regrets divorcing Mandy. I mean they're so good for each other it's sad knowing how it ends.
I guess after George Sr. dies, Georgie's hands would be too full for being the breadwinner of the family and taking care of Mary and Missy. Mandy would be forced to take care CC by herself that she felt like being a single parent already. It would be worse if there's another guy comes into the picture, like perhaps Mandy's ex?🤔
@@tiararoxeanne1318 That's kind of what I've been thinking: After George dies, maybe Mandy will come to realize that having to take care of BOTH baby Constance AND grieving, teenage Missy will be a lot for Georgie to deal with, so maybe Mandy will offer to be the one responsible for taking care of Constance so that Georgie can focus on taking care of Missy?
