Meemaw: “how do you drive without car insurance?!”
Mandy: “slowly!”
@Christopher Bingham too slow is as bad as too fast.
Yeah, that right there makes me think that Mandy shouldn’t be having a kid.
I felt that.
@@alize0623 What is too slow ? Slow does not mean "too slow" It means respecting the speed limit or going a little bit under... If everybody did that, there would be less accident and people would have much more time to react.
@@GameDjeenie too slow doesn’t mean going the speed limit. Too slow means not keeping up with the pace of traffic. A cop can and will give you a ticket for going below or above the speed limit if the flow of traffic is disrupted by you.
Georgie is an honorable man for standing up to his responsibilities, George and Mary should be proud.
Bro?
Sure after he made the biggest fuck up possible he should take responsibility
@@Yengozi actually it's not THE biggest fuck up imaginable, the biggest fuck up he could've done was disown her and the baby and not get involved at all and force her to raise that baby alone. Getting someone pregnant is not a fuck up it's a beautiful thing and after you get over the shock it turns into a blessing in disguise. And I applaud both Georgie and Mandy for 1. Mandy doing what all women should do and give birth to the baby and raise it to be a responsible adult, and not killing the baby bc she can't handle the responsibility. And 2. For Georgie for stepping up like a real man should and taking responsibility for his own child.
I agree. No matter how big of mistakes you make, there are some you got to make up for.
He should have not done it in the first place besides hasn't georgie heard of the word condom george and Mary should be disappointed ☹️☹️ cos the timing is terrible
yes, Georgie did lie about his age. but now he's showing that although he's a kid, he can step up like a man and take responsibility for his actions. Gotta respect that
Actually he’s not. He’s disrespectful of every boundary Mandy puts up n continues to push her past her comfort instead of being supportive in the way she needs. This is how a child acts who doesn’t get their way, it’s not how an adult acts
@@skinnypete3104yeh he should probably leave and ditch that mistake. I mean that's u mean right .
@@deeznuts-dq1fd No, he needs to give her some space to think, to observe and to retrospect what is happening to her. She is pregnant, and its not easy to carry and bring child to this world. He should not leave her but should not be pushy about everything. What he could have done is to ask his Grandmother to keep an eye on Mandy, help her out indirectly, that way it will give Mandy sometime to process things. One of the main reason why Marry and George Sr. are having issues is because of same thing, Mary is being pushy to get them married while George wants her to think, to process and then take a decision. This is how adult and mature person takes decision, what Georgie is doing is exactly how teenager behaves.
I kinda see it both ways. But hey, the drama of the show
He RUINED his familys life. How is that ok?? How does that deserve any respect??!
His poor mom lost the only thing she ever had!
I love the way Emily Osment does those instant answers. Most actors wait a beat before any response. When she doesn't hesitate, it makes the line that much funnier.
I don't understand, can you elaborate?
@@rpendragon5365 sometimes for some actors hesitate to say a line in a scene as viewers sometimes that hesitation can us to lose point or the meaning behind it depending on whether it's funny or serious
It’s like Gilmore girls humor
It makes it feel more natural when there's no hesitation. Like she's definitely in the moment.
Yesss she's so quick with her responses - 'how do you drive without car insurance?' 'slowly'
memaw yelling that that noisy couple in the waiting room was hysterical

I think Connie is a wonderful grandmother. I hope that my future children have a cool grandma like Connie.
Possible if u are a cool mom and a good daughter like Mary....
I don't have a Mom myself.
@@carrieannemichelle3195 oh.... I am sorry mam i was totally unaware may u have great time with ur kids... I apologize again sorry....
Its ok.
Seriously ? If my mother told me that she knew that my 17 years old son was dating a 29 years old, and did nothing to stop it, I would be pissed off. If Connie had told the truth to Mandy or told Mary, none of that would have happened. In real life, I don't think a lot of responsible parents would like Connie as grand-mother for their children. And none of them would be happy with the end result.
After believing I had done what Georgie had done, I can vouch that he is an honourable man from not running from any responsibilities.
Right? Running away and choosing to not help is something multiple men have done but he’s choosing to do the right thing even if it’s hard and everyone’s judging him that takes a lot
Yeah that’s what pisses me off the most.
Pretty much a lot of dad might try to run away from this either by drinking themselves to death or just simply driving away and hope this never comes back to bite them on the butt one day.
But Georgie is actually making an attempt to keep coming back because he actually wants to try and be there be for his baby but Mandy kept pushing him away, at this rate, if he decided he wants to walk away because he had enough of this BS and refuse to pay what child support he’s able to come up with, I wouldn’t blame him……..
Yeah, an honorable man who’s going to hell.

Nice of Connie to offer for medical. Anyway, it's her great grandbaby.
Salute to Georgie!!! For not running away from responsibility. He's even proud of it!
I think you mean it's her GREAT GRAND BABY. she just keeps getting older

the fact that she went to meemaw proves you can get a lesson from her.
@Christopher Bingham -- A lot better person than Mary. Mary called her a whore on one episode of TBBT.
The way this 17 year old gorgie is doing every thing in his power abd supporting mandy and being their for the baby is so heart warming
Mandy does NOT love him. That is the problem.
@@ellisjames7192that true but still to what i think she should appriciate his efforts.
@@ellisjames7192 Looks like she grew to love him eventually. Love is not always instant.
Mandy didn’t want Georgie to help care for the baby, but Georgie still insisted showing he has good will.
For everyone who is mad at Mandy, try to look at this from her point of view. She felt used and betrayed when Georgie admitted his real age. This turns this relationship into what TVTROPES calls questionable consent, since she would’ve never said yes had he told her the truth. Yes, Georgie said that he was going to be there now but how can Mandy trust that he won’t change his mind? He already lied to her just to sleep with her. Not only that, but Georgie is still 17-years-old and she, just like Connie and George Sr., don’t think Georgie’s mature enough to raise a child despite what he claims. There’s also the fact that Georgie is a 17 year old boy with his whole life ahead of him and Mandy doesn’t want to destroy that. However, Mandy not only told Georgie that she was pregnant, she did put Georgie’s name on the form and is letting him into the baby’s life in small ways. So she does realize that Georgie has a right to know about this but doesn’t quite trust him. As for the birth control thing, we don’t know the full story. Maybe Georgie didn’t think he needed condoms because Mandy was on birth control. Maybe Mandy didn’t think she needed to be on the pill because Georgie was using condoms. Maybe Georgie was using condoms and Mandy was on birth control but they fell victim to the 1% chance of getting pregnant, like what happened to Ross and Rachel.
But this doesn't mess up his life, at least in Big Bang Theory he seems successful enough and sure he doesn't end up with Mandy (as far as we know his girlfriend remains nameless in TBBT). It seems like people forget or at least ignore TBBT when talking about this show, we know Georgie ends up successful in his own right, Also male birth control is condoms at least at the time hell today there isn't even a male birth control pill.
TL:DR; he doesn't end up with her, they have a kid together and he's successful in the "future".
@@bobsimon8547 Maybe it’s because Mandy chose not to marry Georgie that his life became a success. We know, in the Big Bang Theory, he became a success but we don’t know exactly how he become one. The steps he took to get to where he is now. Also, when I said maybe they were both using birth control, I was talking about Georgie using condoms and Mandy using pills. I actually edited my comment to make it clear.
Doesn't matter what age Georgie is 17 or 27, at 29 years of age she decided to have sex without being on birth control or having Georgie wear a weenie wrapper. This is totally on her.
@@nojunkwork5735 Did you even read the whole comment or did you just skim it and read what you wanted to read? 🙄
@@suburbantimewaster9620 Yeah I read it. Just a bunch of far-fetched scenarios and excuses why Mandy didn't make sure she was protected against getting pregnant. I hope that what people take away from this is, not to make up silly and stupid excuses for becoming or getting someone pregnant. And one other thing, you and those like you sound a little too wrapped up in this thing, it is just a tv show after all.
Definitely Respect Georgie for taking up as a dad even though he's a teenager that really F'd up lying about his age he's really trying to make up for what happened and do the right thing. Could damn well Respect Georgie for not backing down from rasing a child. Least he didn't have any flashbacks like when he dated Jana and thought he was gonna get her pregnant which never happened thank god. But at least he's really becoming a dad now and I'm pretty proud of him for not backing down period.
Didn't Mandy also lie about her age though? Not to the same extent of course, but I feel like that's getting overlooked.
@@kyleellis1825 yeah she basically did saying that she's 25.
@@chrisholland2016 Mandy needs to be clear she's mad that it could make her look like a predator. Both lied, so that alone can't be why she's mad.
@@kyleellis1825 exactly.
@Christopher Bingham As I have already stated, 17 is only an issue if it wasn't Texas. So it actually is the same thing.
That is a legitmate reason and something she hasn't mentioned once. Same with her looking like a predator if they leave Texas. But neither of these are the thing Mandy is harping on, she's mad he lied and that is exactly the same thing she did.
"You don't have a car insurance? How do ya drive without car insurance? 😳"
"Slowly 😏"
Okay, that was an accurate reply 😆
The correct answer is carefully.
Georgie's character is very consistent. I love it.
My sister got pregnant and married at 18, in that order. Unlike Georgie, her sperm donor wasn't around much. Sister divorced him at 19. Sperm donor died of alcoholic complications. After initially writing off my sister, my parents melted upon seeing the baby they helped raise. It was rough road to get there but my nephew grew up to be a paramedic. It'll be interesting to follow the story arc knowing Georgie's history from TBBT to become the tire doctor.
The Tire Doctor... with no kid. I'm worried there might be a miscarriage
@@AlyssMa7rin It wasn't mentioned of any kids I think, but in the Big Bang Theory, its confirmed he has two ex wives. So I don't know how canon that is to Young Sheldon cause they do sometimes contradict each other.
@@sauceywater3128I think we just have to chalk it up to Sheldon not being a reliable narrator. Young Sheldon is just him telling the story of his childhood.
It's likely Georgie and Mandy do get married, but things don't work, they divorce, and she takes custody of the kids after moving from Texas.

Why does he seem so excited to be having a baby with a 29 year old at 17. It’s like he doesn’t realize how much his life is going to change can’t wait for the next season 👍
I don't think he was excited, more "feeling responsible". Georgie's owning up to his mistakes and not running away despite his young age at being a father. It's probably because he's trying to cope too, since he didn't expect to make that mistake.

He is a very successful Car tire salesman in tbbt.
Unreal. He’s more responsible and loyal than most grown ass men!
From what I've seen from Georgie, I really like how humble he can be by a default. He always asks questions if he doesn't understand, and makes it known how he wants to help. Our society is really bad when it comes to just having people asking questions = dumb, and that's just not Georgie. He is specifically asking because he wants to understand and get ahold of the situation so he can figure out what to do next to the best of his ability.
Good point except that society part. Most women appreciate men being attentive and asking questions instead of trying to ''fix'' the problem from their narow-minded POV or do nothing. It's always comendable when man listens first and acts second.
Georgie knew he messed up big time but he was willing to be there for Mandy.

It's crazy I remember her being a kid on Phil of the Future
I know Mandy is in a hard place, but treating Georgie like that is uncalled for. At least he's there and trying to help. Does she want the alternative; a Georgie that just pumps and dumps??
She's upset that he's seventeen
@Christopher Bingham she's scared and has like a million thoughts going faster than light
@Christopher Bingham She's a 29 year old who's pregnant by a man 12 years her junior, who constantly boundary stomps, who doesn't listen when told to stop and followed her without her consent or permission i.e. he maybe the babies father but being stressed could impact the baby's health and Mandy's health. Him constantly boundary stomping isn't gonna help with her being stressed. She has every right to Set up boundaries. Did she personally tell the whole town, no.
@Christopher Bingham people react differently and in this case, she has all the rights to react the way she did. as much as georgie having the rights for wanting to be involved. you can’t just “no excuse” to mandy but then also expect others to not “no excuse” to georgie. both are equally at fault but also equally deserve the rights to express how they feel about the situation. this ain’t an a black and white situation
@Christopher Bingham yes but we’re not here discussing about who’s right but rather understanding of why Mandy is acting as such. Your comment makes it seem that she has no rights or allow to act as she pleased. which is not a true statement in general of human behavior. notice how most of the comments here trying to justify how “normal”/“understandable” her behavior is rather than talking about how “right” georgie is acting? obviously we’re all aware that georgie is trying his best
"Don't make me come over there." LMFAO.
Lmao, why push away the dude who's tryna do right? Angry at him like he's the only one who did the job 😂😂

Really well done show.
I feel so sorry for Georgie
Idk if it's obvious to everyone else but I think I should just point it out for the sake of uncertainty; she's ten billion percent ashamed of him. Which is a real bummer cause, despite his poor execution, he's one of the few baby daddies to actually WANT to help.
The problem with wanting to help is he doesn't know how to help. If he'd listen and she give some clear boundaries I feel that would allow him to help more and maybe build trust between them once more.
It’s not really ashamed it’s more of he does too much. Walking around her job with her explaining then going to the doctors cornering her and getting loud.
@Christopher Bingham *him nobody said anything about her being ashamed of her self
@Christopher Bingham
I don’t think Mandy is ashamed of George she is ashamed of herself.
It’s mostly due to the fact she nailed a 17 year old which is a difference from 21 year old. 17 old technicality still considered a kid. At 18 it wouldn’t be so bad but just barely . At 21 Goergie would have the weigh of an actual adult. social norms are picky . A 21 year got me pregnant over . I slept with 17 year old and got pregnant. If the situation are reversed their would most likely be legal repercussions. Society would shun a 30 year old man getting 17 year old girl pregnant.
Georgie is doing what most legal adults fail to do. Take responsibility and be involved with the child they brought about . Because he is seventeen it’s not something anyone wants to announce. While Goergie was the one to lie about his age and entered the relationship knowingly society is not so kind. To Mandy who is the older woman in the relationship.
As mandy commented goergie sounds like a kids name. The realization she made a mistake. goergie did lie about his age. Neither is without fault. Mandy has to carry the consequence. At the very least Goergie is not one to run away from his mistakes.
@Christopher Bingham
Sorry wrong character name. Let me fix. But you know who i meant. But in reality the name of the woman is irrelevant . She could be “doe”
Meema knows her grandson done goof big time. She knows he lied and that lie led to their situation. He along with Mandy made a mess. Which is also why she is helping Mandy. Who now bears her great grandchild. She is not shaming not judging. At this time while it’s sweet and responsible of Goergie to be there. She knows at this time Mandy needs some space. Given the situation it’s good that she is there to mediate to set some boundaries showing her support .
Because she can see mandy is being overwhelmed by the situation. Her parents cut her off and she is on her own. She is not going to abandon her grandson nor her great grandson and she can see mandy is not a bad person. A woman who regrets the situation trying to get through the consequences.
Annie Pots is one of my favorites. She's always hilarious.

Honestly both Connie and Mandy are in the wrong because they need to look at it at the child perspective, it doesn't matter how the child was conceived or who lied (which he is wrong about)because at the end the of the day Mandy will need help raising the child. Also if it was the other way around the guy would have been pressed charged for it.
"I told my parents about the baby, and they want nothing to do with me"
it almost hysterical's that she's the one acting like a scared teenager when she's her late 20's and Georgie is the one who is stepping up.
also Georgie may have lied about his age, but she knew he was younger than her, and she's the one sneaking behind his back regarding the appointments. don't push him out of the narrative when he's showing responsibility
Considering she admits she doesn't have her finances in order her parents probably viewed her as irresponsible before it happened and when she told them it just cemented it in their minds. I'm not saying it's fair but it's likely the truth. Georgie isn't the brightest bulb in the pack, but he does know enough to be responsible for his actions.

In terms of before the baby, both of them made huge mistakes, both by lying about their ages. My beef w/ Mandy isn’t that she was so easily fooled but that at nearly 30 she chose to enter a relationship with a “21 year old”. Though both are adults, 21 is a whole different world than 30. After the truth came out, Georgie has been doing his level best to do what’s right, even though it’s obvious he’s scared out of his mind and probably believes he won’t be a good dad.
She even lied to him about her own age, saying that she's only 24
