I was never interested in watching a show about a young Sheldon... but watching these clips is making me want to watch a show with young Georgie.
Georgie is what every young man should aspire to be. Owns up to his shit, takes responsibility even when it's thrown back in his face, and keeps a good attitude in the face of adversity.

Honestly Georgie is the ideal man to be. Sure he’s not super smart, but he’s a hardworker and really caring. An early example is when he helped Missy with her homework.

Georgie's development is amazing. From the start he was just a kid who was far too stupid for his own good, he flipped it around once he started to land on his own two feet getting a job paying rent stuff like that. Best part is we already know how successful he becomes and when George senior dies, he looks after his family so cannot wait to see the in-between now and when he becomes dr tire.
Emily Osment's such a talented actress. I felt so bad for Mandy when she cried.
I applaud the fact that Georgie is able to make up for his mistakes and he really is trying so there must be a clue that he might make a great father I just hope that Mandy forgave him. But I hope that both of them do not put this pressure on their child.

Forgave him for what? Being there for her? She's the one who should be apologizing to Georgie and Mary for ruining their whole life. The Church was the only thing keeping that poor woman sane and her dumb decision to have unprotected sex, then keep the child and then to not marry the father got Mary kicked out of the Church.
To make things worse, she is taking advantage of the whole Cooper family and not even showing a single drop of gratitude. She's even sleeping in Connie's house now.

Huge respect to Georgie for being so kind and taking up his responsibility and doing his best to help Mandy out and also handling his own situation at the same time. I really admire that 💪💪❤️

Ok I’m going to give Georgie a lot of credit here. He is trying to be there for Mandy, etc. He is doing what a lot would run away from, same with his family even after being socially shunned.

Man, Georgie's amazing. He massively fucked up by deceiving an adult as a minor and then getting her pregnant, but not once did he hesitate to step up. No one needed to tell him anything, he just does it even when the girl (understandably) says she wants to do things alone. He's such a good kid. To be honest, the more I watch Young Sheldon the angrier I get on his and Missy's behalf, because in TBBT Mary always talked so poorly about them. Like they were dumb trash or dumb butts of a joke, and they are so much more. I know Young Sheldon wasn't fully planned by the time those episodes were made, but it stands that in-universe that's still how Mary talks about her other two children so many years later. It's so sad.

I get this is just a show and that its not real. But As a man that had a father walk out on him when i was 4 and he was in his mid 20s. This melts my heart as George is actually owning upto the responsibility of his mistakes. I was a dad at 20 and scared the life out of me. But parenthood is a massive challenge. You will make so many sacrifice. also 99 time out of a 100 you will make the wrong decisions. But if you stick it out you will find that it's the greatest privilege in the world. Any young expected dad's that don't think they can do it. Trust me you can I do believe we need more help for young fathers to give them confidence. But never leave as the kid will grow up and will never feel complete. I have a dad (stepfather) that stayed around and treated me like my brother who was biological his. But the rejection from the first male parent will weigh them down.

I really wanna see a whole show of Georgie supporting Mandy like this. It's so satisfying to watch, but it feels disappointing cause based on what we know in the Big Bang Theory, idk if things worked out between them
isn't it illegal for the landlord to do that? Hold her things hostage until she pays the money back? I'm almost certain the landlord shouldn't be allowed to do that and the only reason he's doing it is because he knows Mandy is too poor to go to a lawyer to file a suit against him.

In the future I want to be a wonderful husband to a wife as long as she has good faith in God and she wants children that's all right with me if we have the same interests in things like art movies wanting to travel and that's all right too. Because the one thing that would make me ultimately happy to come home to after work is to see my future wife if I can do something really nice for her I would like to make an authentic homemade dinner for both of us I even thought of a romantic evening that I would have where me and my future wife would watch The Princess Bride.

Mandy is seriously starting to piss me off and I am starting to wish this character goes away asap. Look at all that Georgie is doing for her and she shows not a single ounce of gratitude. The best thing she could give him was a back handed compliment "My life is so screwed up that you're the best part of it".
And it didn't occur to me until Missy pointed it out in an earlier episode - the pregnancy is as much her fault as it is Georgie's. Yes, Georgie lied about his age but she was just as responsible for not using protection and it was her decision to keep the baby and not marry him. She wrecked the Cooper's entire life and now she's mooching off of them and taking advantage of them and not showing a shred of gratitude. Heck, she couldn't even let Georgie take her TV when she moved into Connie's house.
I swear, if her and Georgie start something romantic or she ends up being the one he marries at 19 years old, I would stop watching the show. I don't mind the kid being a recurring character but I want Mandy gone from the show otherwise what kind of message is this show giving- that women can make endless mistakes but it is okay to treat young men who are just as stupid like trash?
How is she misusing them? Georgie stopped by her place to check up on her as he should. She lied about being ok. She went back to him to tell him the truth. She did say she was thankful that he is willing to help her out. Since he is still very young it was wise for him to tell MeMaw the situation. That way there is boundaries for the both of them.

Why is it the kid's duty to check on her? Furthermore considering how she's treating him, I'd say she's lucky he's even bothering to acknowledge her. If a woman treated me like Mandy is treating Georgie, you best imagine that's the last she's seeing of me.
And please remind me when she said she's thankful because I sure as heck would have remembered it if she did. I was literally waiting for her to say anything remotely close to that but like I said the best she did was a backhanded compliment.
