It was a good year overall bro, for both of our programs. I was very impressed with your Orange Bowl win, and how hard y'all played us in the SEC Championship. @country928 I wish you to know this honestly sir. I've only met a couple of lousy UGA fans, mostly when I came down to tailgate in Athens for a game. But most of you are like us. Love of our teams and the SEC. I pray if I ever get down that way again ( I live in Northern NY), that we can raise a drink and some BBQ for the love of the game. Saturdays are a religion in my wife's and mine household.

Yeah, we went from "the dynasty is over" nonsense to winning the SEC championship and making another playoff appearance. 2023 Tide wasn't the prettiest at times but they definitely overperformed and made for a great season.

Bama played unexpectedly poorly, and Michigan played unexpectedly well. And it was still a nail biter of a game. Michigan deserved the win, but anyone who thinks they didn’t belong there are out of their minds.
If you're not an $EC fanboy, you would know that neither was "unexpected," other than Michigan muffing two kicks.
Michigan's defense played well, but the rest of their team played like garbage, especially special teams. Two muffed punts, a muffed extra point, a missed FG and several fumbles that they recovered themselves. That game was honestly way closer than it had any right to be. Hell even michigan's defense stopped being great after halftime but that's probably more to Saban's great half-time adjustments.
What game did you watch? Michigan special teams tried their best to give Bama the W. Muffed punts, botched extra point, missed field goal, please.
We've been inconsistent all year offensively, and our defense has bailed us out all season, and Michigan has played very consistently all year on both sides of the ball. Our defense kept us in it this year.
That Michigan coach got us Six sacks in a game like this All Talk man see you all out money in these kids eyes now it's over, you already have scholarships so what your NIL yeah NFL warehouse all we got left now, I can't stand this weak Society always crying and Sympathizing for people who want money for nothing and a check for free, how you gone tell a rich kid what to do what day, time and place, just made College Football and the NFL a big Casino I'm sick of you Cupcakes and without Alabama stumbling all over themselves you would be in Therapy today period Good Job ain't enough for me , see i just love to Win even when I lose I think I won get you some a Winning Attitude. If Georgia had shown up for the first half of the SEC championship game, there's a pretty good chance it would have been Georgia vs FSU in the Rose Bowl, and well, I think we all know how that would have gone even if FSU showed up.

I grew up on Michigan football, but love Bama so the game last night was bitter sweet.
Here is my take….. the Michigan D line spooked the Bama O line and they didn’t adjust the coverage. Bama’s center was messing up the snaps trying to do too much at once…. The back side guard should have gapped down to help the center to make sure Milroe received the ball clean. It didn’t happen so Milroe ended up playing in the dirt more than he should have.
Also, Milroe needs to be moved from QB to Tailback. Milroe can go hard. He is a strong runner but was having a hard time reading the defense from the backfield.
Much respect from an old D2 left guard….. it was an edge of your seat fun game.

I feel like Jalen Milroe was in the same shoes as Blake Sims 10 years ago....won games but often criticized. Coming from a LSU fan, Bama had a great season, especially after that loss to Texas in the beginning of the season.

I was nervous about all the rat poison before the game. Bama wining the natty was being said too much. Too many mistakes and questionable play calls on both sides of the ball. Roll Tide though, can't wait for September!
