Very nice and complete presentation. When you say to prepare the injection out of sight in order to prevent possible anxiety, that is excellent advice. I received a vaccination several years ago, where the nurse drew out the vaccine with a syringe that looked like it was for use on a horse. I was very relieved to see her transfer that to a second bottle and throw away the huge syringe, taking out a normal small one to use after the vaccine was mixed. For a caretaker or patient to see preparation itself can be a very stressful procedure, it is outstanding to hear advice that includes warning about this.

I don't like the feel or the idea of the needle being inserted in skin, but seeing the materials actually make you feel much better, especially the name of the vaccine on the bottle. We must be an "active" participant in our healthcare.

But can you please tell why that vaccine mark will be there for ever ? in normal injections no marks will be there right ? but why BCG vaccine mark will be there life long ???

I always say this is to somehow rob us of things we were suppose to be born with … there’s no way something can be so powerful it leaves a permanent mark on your arm for a 100+ years plus and even burns and deep cut fade eventually .. if I had the choice I wouldn’t take this when I was young
