In this video I unbox and review the newly released 2024 Danny Ketch Ghost Rider. I then compare him the the previously released 2018 Ghost Rider to see how they compliment each other and what the differences are. This is one of the figures that I have been anticipating the most for 2024! Let me know what you think!

I think the Ghost Rider from the Spider-Man BAF wave is the best my opinion 💯

THANKS for showing the front flame effect on Blaze’s bike’s front tire! I’ve been wondering if that would work since the figure was revealed. Glad to know it looks good, as that’s what I’m planning on doing with mine!
You're welcome, there was no way that I was going to let that go to waste because of the wheelie situation. It actually looks really good on the Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider and I have my Ghost Rider's in a glass cabinet not. Those effects really make the bikes pop. Glad I could help!
That underbite is the reason why I got rid of that Johnny blaze and kept the original one from the rhino wave. It doesn’t have that issue and I just picked up the Danny Ketch by himself without the bike. I’m gonna put him on Johnny blaze’s bike because that’s just how I see things because I got them mixed up so I see Danny catch on Johnny blaze bike as normal, great video as always keep up the great work
It's so crazy because I never even realized the under bite until I was doing the video. I really like that Ghost Rider from the Rhino wave but that price doesn't really have me out running to get it. It's also funny because I was thinking the same thing, I was like yo I think I remember Johnny Blaze with this black costume, it wasn't only the blue stripes. IDK, it was all starting to blend in. @@ClevasMultiverse you could always pick up the retro ghost Ryder head on eBay or Mercari and pop that on your Johnny blaze and you’re good to go and both shades of white will match

TIP for an articulate chain! Hit up Michael’s for the crafts chains and run like a 18 wire gauge wire through it and clear hot glue and paint to your liking for the flames 👍🏽 💪🏽

Haha I’m the same way man, can’t let a good effect go to waste if I can use it somewhere else. My Jonny Blaze is in storage rn so I got the extra fire effect under my Charizard’s foot for a flame stomp 😂
Hey at least it's being used for something. That flame effect is just to official to put back in the closet. Especially when so many figures can use them. I always make the most out of everything that I come across. Even down to the bendy wires and clear wires that come with the figures. That's how I hang my figures from the ceiling.
Just picked mine up today at GameStop. Love it!

This is the first Ghost Rider fig to come out since I started really paying attention to legends and I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. This is the exact version of the character I see in my head and they knocked this sculpt outta the park. The figure is a little short in stature but you don’t even notice it when it’s up in that bad ass wheelie. I keep him posed in that wheelie stance and I get around the drooping chain by having him drag it and setting the chain in the front wheel flame effect. Makes for a really impressive display. The skeleton hands from the retro release would have been a nice addition but I’m just looking for things to complain about at that point.
The Deff knocked this one out of the part for sure! This is my favorite figure from this year and from what I've seen coming out for the rest of the year I think his spot is secured, let's see how it goes. I really think that they made him a little shorter because it makes him fit better on the bike. Johnny Blaze looks a lil lanky and hunched over when he grips the handle bars. That wheelie pose is bananas and that really makes him pop on when he's displayed. I appreciate you commenting with your feedback, much appreciated!

Yeah that's one of the things that I noticed, Wolverine is like 5'2-5'3 I believe. Besides that, I really do like the quality.
Hoping they do a Ghost Rider wave now that Blackheart is a BAF. They can do a Mephisto BAF with Johnny as a human, Robbie Reyes, Vengeance, Blackout, Zarathos. Idk if they’d ever do it but I had the idea of a BAF wave completing a Ghost Rider motorcycle.

The only figure I really want is that Blackheart. They knew what they were doing when they made that wave lol. Too bad that Robbie Reyes didn't get funded. That would have went along with this great.

The Hasbro team did say they felt they made Johnny to big so Danny they sized him to fit the Bike

Handle bars are closer to the seat on the Danny Ketch. The Johnny Blaze bike has way too much distance seat to handlebars

Excellent review! GR is my ride or die (no pun intended) and this figure will go well with my other Riders.
Ketch would also look good on a Hearts of Darkness Shelf (GR, Wolverine, Punisher). A New FF shelf with Wolverine, Spidey, GR and Grey Hulk or Midnight Sons with Dr Strange, Blade, Morbius, etc
I've always like Ghost RIder, he's one of those dudes that doesn't come to mind right away but when he does it's like oh yeah! I have to make one of those teams that you mentioned now.
Nice review and I did not get the new ghost rider because I only stick with jonhhy blaze ghost rider but I actually have no ghost rider. I think you should get you a Ghost Rider that fits your taste. I hope it works out for you in August. I still need that Cosmic Ghost Rider now.
Something I just observed from recent reviews. ML figs seem to be getting shorter. If you managed to get the recent Warbird from Target she's also shorter than previous female figs. Maybe this is a new trend? Maybe ML will start getting shorter? Just an observation.
That's interesting. I just unboxed Warbird 2 days ago. When I get home I'm going to size her up and see what's going on with that. I do know that the Warbird figure was made well quality wise. If this means that we get better figures that don't break limbs just taking them out the box then I think I'm cool with that. As long as it's not too small. DC Icons got really small with their figures.

I always hated that jaw on the Johnny blaze, that skull head dated so bad!
It sure did. Although from the front or from certain angles it's hard to tell. I had that figure since it was released and I didn't really notice it like that until I compared him to Danny Ketch. I still like the figure but that jaw does bother me, he's not going back into a side angle. I am glad that at least they corrected it for the new character.
Im not even the biggest fan of ghost rider but i just realized i have every version short of the toybiz version and also the mezco. Even Grabbed a extra cosmic ghost rider to give Lobo the Bike!!🤔☺️☺️☺️
Yeah that's kinda what I meant when I was talking about him early in the video. He's like one of those characters that seems to go over peoples heads. I never met anybody that didn't like him but when his name does come up it like... Oh Yeah! Ghost Rider, I love him.
Born in 83 grew up in the 90s Danny is and always will be my Ghost Rider, lol. Glad to see he’s a good figure but I’m mildly annoyed that they scaled him back, hight wise.
Maybe we will get another Johnny at this scale? I don’t know.. but scale always drives me insane. I guess I’ll always have him posed on the bike but still. Come on Hasbro, ya upped the price on your figures at least scale them right. I think in Human form Danny is like Slightly under 6 foot but in Rider form both Danny and Johnny grow a bit to 6’3”.

I’ll also say I wish they would have made Danny’s flame go all out like it did in the comics. His skull flame was a bit more wild than Johnny’s.
I hear you on that and that's what I was thinking myself. When they transform they should both be the same size. After looking at how Johnny had to stretch out and couldn't even get on the seat I think they made Danny a better fit for the bike but they made him smaller. If anything they should have just made the bike bigger because that's what we were all checking for anyway. Besides the height issues I think that Danny is the better figure, for sure!

I always followed Zarathos, I need to do a little more homework on Danny. I think almost all of the stories that I followed for the most part were Johnny.
That’s fair man. There are Danny volumes out there thankfully. I have two of them plus the complete collection of War for Heaven. He’s quite the interesting character.
