In the 1990 comics, the footrest moves from the forward position to the middle, and even further back for forward crouching while speeding, depending on the panel.
I had been waiting on this one for years now. Glad it's finally here! While it is a tad short, I'm fine with it. My biggest complaint is reusing the same headsculpt and head flame. At the very least they should have changed the flame piece to be larger to more accurately represent danny ketch. A danny ketch headsculpt would have been nice. Also the eyes of the bike should have been filled in with white or yellow. Overall still a great piece.
I'm just hoping that strange tales isn't a one and done but a true home for that part of marvel and we can get a Spirits of Vengeance Johnny Blaze with Hellfire gun. A motorcycle maybe. It's what I remember most is those two together.
As a dude who is now a motorcycle owner. The foot pegs can be changed to forward controls and mid controls so it's a preference. My indian 101 is forward and my honda is mid
8:05 Wish they kept the yellow paint detail inside the collar that was in the promo images. It's still there on the back of the box but I think that's a render because the belt is clipping through the crotch. 18:52 They should do a classic Johnny Blaze on the Vulcan body. Preferably with a new torso, but they could use a modified Banshee or Corsair torso. Or maybe on the new Punisher buck. And a red Hell Cycle too.
I get that the old ghost rider was very tall, but this new ghost rider is smaller than ryv spidey. Ghost rider is 6'2 while spiderman is 5'10. Unless hasbro is wanting to scale correct 1/12th scale (ML is more like 1/11th scale) then they will need to start making all figures shorter, but they would save plastic, aka save money 🤷♂️
His size is fine. He looks awesome on his bike. He is a teenager when he debuts so this is fine for me. The penance stare eyes is an awesome touch. Now we just need a spirits of Vengeance Blaze with the shotgun and cyborg parts as well as Vengeance.
Strange this was not used as a tier for the Engine of Vengeance Haslab and an updated Johnny Blaze with his motorcycle. This would have funded easily in my opinion. Then make Mephisto, Madame Pryor, Palerider as the special “thank you tier” if it passed 20K in backers.
Warbird size is actually good, a lot of older female figures have big heads or faces. Warbird has a lot of hair which shrinks the face/head size which makes sense because that's what would happen. Think about 70s and 80s hairstyles that were super big and flowy
Great set. Wish the bike had orange windshields though. Love all the fire effects. Ghostrider looks really good but does appear undersized. I actually think he looks more undersized than he actually is. But still should have been a bit taller and with a different flame on the skull.
Hi, I want to ask a question. Can the Danny Ketch figure fit on the Johnny Blaze motorcycle? And can the Johnny Blaze figure fit on the Danny Ketch motorcycle?
19:30 6'2" Danny Ketch Ghost Rider should not be the same height as 5'10" Peter Parker and 5'11" Danny Rand. I think the height for Johnny Blaze is fine, but the figure is too lanky.
Yeah I need to see an example where that Ketch is really short , if anything that Superior is too tall , Spider-Man is 5.10" ,all the older Spider-Men seem to tall. I would have preferred more bulk maybe. I'm starting collecting all over again so I don't care if older figures don't scare as well.
It's interesting that the skull head is different but the flame hair is the same--perchance they will reuse this with an updated "more comic accurate" flame hair look in the future? I'm also surprise they have not done a GITD version of a Ghost Rider figure. I'll admit it would be cool to get Danny and his bike with white flame accents instead of the typical orange/yellow.
I don't mind that Dan is smaller than Johnny. I think this is how it was in the comics. Dan was obviously younger.

I just bought the bike on ebay ,i already had the retro ghost rider so i will use him for danny since they dont look much different and he didnt have a bike so i saved a few dollars .
Drop down hips doesn't do much or kind of useless to add to the new action figures specifically with DK ghost rider. But still thanks for the awesome review!
Hmmm I think I can fudge this into my MCU display with all the detail and maybe a very light brush and washes for Rider and some silver on the scratches and scuffs and on the angles and all on the bike…yeah.
At first I thought it was Johnny blaze ghost rider but I realised it is Danny ketch ghost rider. This ghost rider can be like Johnny blaze ghost rider because Johnny blaze ghost rider had this look in the comics.
His size is perfectly fine. Could maybe use a millimeter or two in his torso. Warbird's body is mostly fine, the issue is that her head is TINY compared to any other female figure, which makes the top of her head fall shorter. :\
I don’t think the flame piece on the head looks very good. I would prefer multiple attachable pieces that give it different looks, it always looks like hair to me. Other than that the figure looks great imo
Since the Legends team ruined this new Danny Ketch Ghost Rider, I’ll buy this figure and the 2022 retro Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider and I’ll swap the lower body from the retro Ghost Rider on this new Danny Ketch to give him some more height. You know, since it’ll properly be another 22 years until we get another Danny Ketch Ghost Rider. SMH
They did make him too short, but I don't care. He's going to be posed on the bike 100% of the time on my shelf, so the height's not going to stand out.
it's the same head as the retro ghost rider head. Also, Ghost rider was supposed to be intimidating, instead he's the same height as spider man. And his porpotions are terrible. Definitely a pass.
His size is perfectly fine. Warbird's body is fine, the issue is that her head is TINY compared to any other female figure, which makes the top of her head fall shorter. :\
The scale of legends is broken. Danny is short. As Ghost Rider he should be taller than Iron fist. Iron fist is 5'11, Danny is 6'2 as Ghost Rider and Luke is 6'6. I'm actually disappointed with this shrinking as it feels like Hasbro is trying to save money on plastic. The figure looks great, but I have 200 plus figures of a particular scale and now suddenly we're getting shorter characters. It's disappointing that they didn't consider how things would line up with everyone else. I'm not interested in collecting a brand new 200 plus figures....
They’re not trying to save money, they don’t read comics, they just look at whatever notes the intern gives them . They probably just google how tall is Danny and went with the 1st answer
@@Hair3Ch3sT94 You're right. I'm disappointed in the height and so i don't buy it. I explained why and that's it. You disagree, you buy it. The world keeps spinning and the line either continues, corrects itself or ends

This guy knows his ghost rider!
@@mcmurray360lol re-reading the early issues of Danny Ketch because of this figure.
Danny Ketch was the Ghost Rider that appeared in the 90s cartoons, so he was my first Ghost Rider. And in my opinion, he had the coolest looking bike.
To me, the best ghost rider, out of all of them good old Danny boy
Ultra facts.
Can't wait for the retro card Flame Glow Ghost Rider with a glow-in-the-dark skull and chain.
When does it come out?

Seeing this as mine is currently out for delivery lol, super excited to get mine tonight!

I didn't care about any of the strange tales wave coming out but then I got this piece and now I feel like I have to get them😂
Been waiting for this one since Toy Biz Marvel Legends series 3. Finally!
22 long years later…

I wonder if Chamber's head could work as a transforming Danny Ketch.
Yes i believe it does, at least some on ebay were selling it as such

The footrest goes to the forward most position. The middle position is for use as a kick stand.
Yeah but thats not how the package describes its use

The new head sculpt aint there the older ones is perfect.

The Johnny Blaze bike is great. You just gotta remove that silly face plate from it. (The Ketch GR is my favorite, though.)
I really want this figure but the size is really holding me back from buying it, is it anything to be bugged about ?

In 2006-2007, Johnny did.
Danny design became the most popular so used it for Johnny
Prefer them different give distinction
@@Spawn3X5agreed its odd seeing johnny in the exact same outfit
Rogue is characterize 5"8 and Warbird is 5"11, so, in comparison of the figures. Warbird, is a little undersize
If they’re going for scale then they’ll need to redo Johnny blaze and his bike but they won’t

spin the foot rest down for a kickstand

But in their defense, the ML scale is all out of whack. They pretty much go "I guess" and most scaling seems to be random.
He’s 5 inches 🤦🏽♂️ bullshi..
Shame about the the printed weathering on the new skull. It looks awful, especially compared to the old one done with classic wash

I wish they would pay me, sadly on RUclips does
I think the proportions are off. Looks stunted. The ghost skull is reused 🥱
I already have the single marvel legends release just before this of Danny Ketch ghost Rider… It’s the same exact thing this is just with a cycle
