Growing up as a kid between the ages of 8-12 of my comic phase, this was the ghost rider I got familiar with before Johnny Blaze was the original ghost rider.
Johnny Blaze GR was introduced in the 1970s not 1960s. Solo series ended 1981. Daniel Ketch was 1990-1997. Daniel Ketch was the BEST Ghost Rider though. Ketch's enemy Vengeance (another Ghost Rider) was pure awesome. Blaze was used best in the 1990s with the Hellfire shotgun era. Being separated from Zarthos.
I imagine the M.C.U. version, of DANIEL “Danny” KETCH, he goes from very aggressive, to slowly becoming less aggressive, and becomes a warrior with a moral-code. Who has tactical skills, learns to control his temper, eventually decides to think things through, and later becomes less impatient. To add I imagine DANNY, later develops other skills, and much later he develops some extra abilities. Plus to add I imagine later, he learns how to conquer, both the spirit-of-vengeance, and the Spirit-of-corruption, that lives in him. So that (DANNY KETCH) no longer has to fear losing his sanity, and no loner has to fear becoming an evil person.
MCU has used Three Ghost Riders characters and several temporary Hosts Johnny Blaze in 2 films and tv AoD series. Ketch as Mephisto's Child in GR2... Robby Ramirez in Agents of Shield season 4... Darkhold first shows up in AoS too. Several Shield Agents become temporary Hosts too. Agent Coleson even.

Daniel Ketch Ghost Rider was the best one, and yet Marvel of today took HIS Ghost Rider and applyed him on ol Johnny Blaze. The 90's Marvel comics was so great with Ghost Rider, Hulk, Spider-Man, Wolverine etc. Today Marvel and DC just suck...
