How are you doing today. Ok. 👍👍👍👍
I love it when you and your brother do stuff together! One day you both will look back and totally treasure these memories! :)
Totally agree! Good chemistry and excellent editing.
He's just a guy in a blue hat.
You two are like the funnier versions of your parents! Love when your brother makes appearances on your channel
The battle scene with swords was great! 😂 As I write this, my granddaughter is competing in the US Fencing Nationals in Ohio 😊
I love when you film together! My brother is 8 years older than me and has ALWAYS been protective of me, even now at 62! He is one of my best friends, my advisor and someone I always want to spend time with! Keep this wonderful bond as you get older you will cherish it 🩷💙
My daughter is part of the mushroom cult. She won't share the secrets.
Who would have ever thought Kamani would have to fight to the death at a Renaissance fair.😂😂
It is good to see brother and sister having fun together
I had no idea what a renaissance fair was. Thank you for Nevaeh for bring us along ❤ also, i asked Alexa to spell your name and she said, by the way it means Heaven. Also Heaven spelled backwarda. I learn something new everyday. ❤
Never noticed that before, with the name spelled backwards. I always thought the named sounded Hawaiian... like her dad, beautiful name 😊
Fungi? More like Fungal!
DAD JOKE KING
Fungus Amongus! 🍄
(Don’t eat the mushroom, she handed you 😮) 😂

I don’t know if this will come through but it is my 🍄 creation almost finished. Mushrooms are a common Christmas decoration in Sweden where I lived for a year, 17 to 18. I created mine with red polkadot fabric gathered over cotton balls on top of a champagne cork! 🍄
I’m thinking it’s possibly a CBD gummy but I can’t tell from here obviously!
I thought it was a crystal 🤷@@Grammichal
I love Incubus
I was thinking the opposite. Her brother would keep grounded.
Ah, to go back in time, a time before.....wait......what do you mean there ain't no toilet paper?
Rocks? Corn cobs! Moss? Blow dryers? Snow is good. Trivia: Sir Thomas Crapper was an early plumber. Ironically, he died of colon cancer.
Toilet paper is overrated - Soviet union sent numan in space in 1961 and started producing tp in 1968...
No toilets either. Chamber pots. Ew.
So glad you went! Having new experiences and talking to people who are different from you gives you a wider perspective on the world. You met some nice people who do stuff you didn’t know about before, and although it may not be your thing, you will never look at people dressed as mushrooms and think they are weird or “other.” People in costumes are just people in costumes, and as much as you enjoy dressing up and being creative, you will forever know you are not alone. 🤗
One of the prettiest mushrooms at the fair for sure!
Who knew a fungus could be so cute? 😄 Looks like a unique experience - thanks for your funny take on it. PS - I hope you didn't eat that mushroom...when you showed it my mama bear instincts went, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" 😁
It was plastic don’t worry! Haha
@@NevaehSouza Oh! Good! 😂
@@NevaehSouza Do you think the Mushroom Cult might be like the Jeep Rubber Duckie Cult ???? *** Insert the X Files music here ***
Great video! You two had me chuckling! I’m 65 now, but used to go to the Ren Faire in my 20s and 30s…I’m in CA and they seem to have them in the hottest area, luckily it is usually in May, so not so hot. One year my sister wore a blue velvet gown as a royal and I wore a wench outfit….mine was cotton, I was hot, but my sister got too hot! I don’t think mushroom hats were a thing then. I do remember that it was a little uncomfortable with some of the comments directed our way…. I guess being in costume allows for people to be more bold. Glad Kaimani was with you!
Little things like the mushroom you were given is a way of saying I like your outfit kind of thing.
My older sister always took me to stuff like this. Flea markets, fairs, etc. I’m 64 now and remember those times fondly. Great job.
Renaissance festivals and fairs are always a delight. Thank you for sharing yours with us! We have Medieval Faires of various sizes throughout Germany every year. Here in the North we have a small - yet very special - one during December - through the 23rd in the Old Towne of Lübeck. A favourite around here.
Being a mushroom apparently helps you appreciate the AC even more lol. Seemed like a fun experience.
Do NOT eat the mushroom!!!
MOM!!!!😂
You take care and always take your brother 🤣
It was plastic! Don’t worry! 🤣
@@NevaehSouza thank goodness😊I didn’t know if was a gummy or what 😜
Enjoyed seeing the fair from your perspective!! I haven’t ever gone to one but I might now. Thank you for sharing with us.
You were initiated by being given the honorary mushroom token, plant it in the soil on your first mushroom grow and the one thing you wish for the most will happen IF your grow is successful.
I didn’t just make this up, trust me.
and yet again your video made my day 🍄the whole mushroom thing is part of a cottage-core theme that’s been getting really popular on social media...apparently
As someone who worked at a RenFaire for several years running, this just tickled me. We're kind of far away from most of them these days, but in our closet is our costumes - just waiting for another opportunity. But no "mushroom hats" however... alas... 😋
Your brother has the same mannerisms and side eye looks as your dad; - another enjoyable vid; your humorism needs to be seen weekly
3:34 bros reaction to the fury is hilarious
In Toronto we have Medieval Times year round. You book seats and they serve dinner and you get a show in the arena. Kinda cool.
They have a restaurant in Florida that does that cool
I'm senior and I love the Renaissance festivals. So much fun!
What a great video! Your mushroom costume is hysterical & your grandfathers comment about your costume was historic lol. Your brother was a great companion for your journey 😊🙏🙏🙏Blessing’s
A mushroom. It has such an “earthy” quality about it - but I love it. Simple but complex. Organic. Love your video ♥️
In the heat my son works all day in the sun.
And I found for his safety & health to start the day
He drinks an ounce of Aloe Vera juice ( it has to be not diluted too much “Sprouts Farmers Market “
Has a quality Aloe Vera Juice 128 ounces for around $30-$35)
If it a gallon (128) is sell less it means it has been watered down.
Some places sell aloe Vera juice for $8.50 + for a gallon but you would have to drink 5-8 ounces of that juice to equal 1 ounce of Sprouts Aloe Vera juice.
The Aloe Vera juice before you start your day makes sure you don’t get headaches
Of course you still have to keep drinking water during the day
I'm in my 60's and still enjoy doing things with my younger brother. I went to 1 of those festivals here in Ohio. Truly a different kind of people there.
Prettiest mushroom I've ever seen....
I totally agree! Nice accessories and joining the Mushroom click club
This episode was so much fun! Thank-you Nevaeh and Kamani for taking us along on your adventure. The lessons learned from attending this Renaissance Fair 2024 will create memories and shows how good natured you both are with only $20.00 for the whole day. Love your channel, your creative spirit and brother/sister content! Keep them coming….this BabyBoomer from New York looks forward to your next episode.
My daughter went to our local Renaissance Faire, Koroneburg, that is a tiny town with permanent structures and time period tents. She took an archery lesson found archery to be such a fun challenge, she wanted to join their Archers of Ravenwood. We joined as a family. Our guild presents history and historical replicas of the time, as well as archery lessons and tournaments. We represent the normal people of the era, but it is interesting the type of fantasy folk we see, including adorable mushrooms like you and suave young modern men like your brother.
I worked at Renaissance faires many years ago! So much fun. The bigger faires have more to offer. Many talented artists & performers worked the circuit. Including Penn & Teller. The turkey legs are a Must!
She was the cutest lil mushroom ever!! So glad I got to meet you and find your channel 😊🍄
It was so nice to meet you too!!!!🥰🥰
I grew up going to Renn Faire....oh how I miss those days, so much fun! Especially when you're older and can partake in the Ale! 😂 What a great little outfit, and such a fun video! ❤ HAZZAH!
We have the Renaissance festival here in Colorado springs, it starts next month in August.
We have a Renaissance Festival in the fall, Southern Ohio I think it last a month
I was going to say something about this, but then I couldn't remember when it was. I knew it was in the Springs, but not sure exactly when. (I'm in Pueblo, so I don't see as many ads.) I just knew it was usually really hot outside whenever I did hear any info about it happening.
Hilarious! Mushroom privilege! 😂
Neveah, your videos are always so much fun to watch! 🤣 Thanks for filming and sharing it with us! 🍄🧡
25 years ago I went to a Renaissance Festival in Kansas City. Although there were many people dressed in costumes, most were in middle age style costumes. I do not remember seeing any furries. Times sure have changed and people seem to want to be animals now for some reason. I'm too old to understand this mentality. 😎
the meaning of wearing a blue feather is an interesting concept...
I miss seeing you,Nevaeh, on Good Simple Living! 💜
Pretty good and funny!!!!! I love it when you kids do things together, shows your family values.🦅😍
Our oldest granddaughter made her own Renaissance dress. She attended a Renaissance Fair here in Oklahoma. She sewed every stitch by hand. Never used a sewing machine. She wanted the dress to be authentic! She is a very talented young lady. She writes, sings and produces her own music. You remind me of my granddaughter because you are both singers and play guitar, now you like Renaissance Fair’s like her! 😊❤
I wonder if that small Mushroom was a "recreational" mushroom. Be safe at these crowd events. Love your's and your family's videos. You truly have a deserved blessed life. Great Video, Great Costume!
What a fun video as always . Your outfit looked great . I wish we had something like that here . Closest thing we have close is a Celtic Fest. I've been to several and usually a joke .
This is good for these kids to see how the world works!!
What a great time...I enjoy those fairs/festivals..I go as an archer,n shoot in the
Tournaments..lots of fun!! Thanks for sharing this gift of adventures!!
🏹👍🦊🧙♂️🐺🤙🏹
Ever been to Koroneburg? I’m a part of Archers of Ravenwood. We have tournaments each weekend and a longbow tournament.
Its great that you had fun and the renaissance fair. funny we don't do them in the UK (not sure if Europe do still) even though its part of our history too. Your mushroom outfit and make up was brilliant
Loved watching this, happy that your brother joined you in your Renaissance adventure. Just love ❤️ your Fabulous sense of humor. Keep it up, Please. We all need more humor in our lives. 💕🙏🏻As always, love/blessings.
Rennasaunce Fairs are fun! We have had one each October each year and I participated a few years with a friend who runs the fair. You definitely needed to have a bottle of water for the day! Their food is really good! Glad you had a good time and your outfit was really cute!
We went to a couple Renaissance fairs. Love them!
This was awesome- thank you I really hope you and brother do more videos like this!
Great episode!!!! So glad that your brother could accompany you!!! Keep up the great work!!!
You post the most entertaining and fun videos. When I find one, I drop what I’m doing to watch it immediately. I smile, laugh and really enjoy the video. Your narration is so good and funny and having Kamani (Sp?) with you was super. Hope you’re feeling better after being dehydrated. God Bless you Nevaeh and thank you for a wonderful day. 🙏❤️👍
Fun video! I’ve been to a few Renaissance Fairs and they are fun! You captured it perfectly! Your costume was adorable! Kamani was a great sport and such a great companion for you to experience it with.
Great video!❤ It’s so nice to see you do things with your brother. That’s a blessing! You do make a beautiful mushroom 🍄!
Thanks for sharing!
This was fun! I went to one years ago. This brought back memories. You always the experiences more fun. I like your mushroom hat. :)
The difference is you are dressed up as a mushroom while some of them actually think they are a mushroom lol. You look really cute!!
I think it's really fantastic that your brother comes along on these kinds of adventures. Great to see. Kudos to Karmani. (I hope I spell his name right). By the way: You look amazing as a mushroom 🙂
If you ever get to Minesota, try to go to the one they have in Shockopy, Mn. They have it on 40 acres.
Your make up looked amazing! The remixes were so good 😂
Great Video and editing as well !! You have a great sense for film making as well as story telling. Keep up the great work
You both make me laugh - such a great sense of humor. Thank you for sharing. Can’t wait for your next adventure.
Omgosh this is by far my favorite video of all yours and your families videos. I went to one of these fairs in Pennsylvania and it was so worth having to drive though the whole state of Ohio. I would help prepare food for renaissance banquets and I made costumes. I wasn’t into the pretend I speak like I flunked out on GED English cuz I’m shy but I loved the crafts and meeting ppl.
😄😄 You made a delightful mushroom lady !! FWIW, After taking part in the many Ren fairs in the last 25 years, I'd have thought you would have been more inclined toward being a sand fairy or a glitter girl.
How fun, been to Renaissance F. always wanted a turkey leg but was expensive. Love your mushroom costume. As always love your vlogs.
YOU HAVE MADE MY DAY WITH ONE OF YOUR VIDEOS. I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH I'M SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU BOTH DO SOME FUN STUFF TOGETHER🎉🍄❤🦃 DON'T EVER STOP MAKING YOUR VIDEOS "PLEASE "!!!
Thank you!!!! 🥰
Huzzah! I only went to one Renaissance festival! Years ago in Thousand Oaks CA. Literally 38 years ago! Yes, not on my bucket list and it was very hot! A giant turkey in the petting zoo scared the daylights out of my 2 year old son! I think the Mc Flurry was the highlight of the day! I hope you had fun 💖😉
Kaimanis voice got deeper just like his dad......great video naveah.
So many
August! Thank you! 😂
My first renaissance fair was 1978.
You were so cute... Happy you got to see what the fair was all about and how these people live... LOVE from Chicago
This looked so fun!!! Thanks for sharing ❤️
The look on your brother's face said it all when you guys got there. HILARIOUS! You caught it perfectly. I'm with him it's weird. I can go through life never going to one and be ok with that. You made it enjoyable. Love your humor. Your brother is adorable, great wing man and protector, just in case😉.
So so funny. We have the same festival here in Minnesota which I hear is one of the biggest. I also went to the one in New York that was huge. An interesting event.
I hope you had fun, Gus.
Way to go! Keep up the great videos. We love seeing you and your brother together! Hope you all had a good time. Much love for you and your family!
Love your costume Nevaeh & Kaimani's blue hat .... I have never been to these types of fairs and would so love to see one 😂 i also love how you often dress up & go out in public I admit I am to shy unless its an actual dressup party among friends
This is by far one of my favorite videos you did. I saw bundles of family. Before we moved we use sit in our apartment and could see all events happening where you all were. The rodeo was our favorite to watch but I also had cousins that were in it. I love your mushroom outfit especially your earrings they are so cute.
Here I was, thinking that there's no way for you to look even more beautiful then you already are.
And that you totally prove me wrong, you looked absolutely stunning.
They're actually pretty neat I've been to two when I enjoyed them
That looks like a fun festival. ❤
HA HA that was great, I like going to events like that. Sometimes weird and sometimes cool and that one was cool. Thanks for letting us come along.
Glad you can ✅ that off your bucket list! 🎉🎉 I had to go to one once on a very hot day and I’ll never go again… hopefully 😅….at least now you have a cute costume if you ever need one!…. your brother is a trooper! 🧢 😅 I make our son go with his sisters every where… they get along and are close… so it’s a blessing having a younger, “bigger & stronger than you” brother to hang out with! Hope y’all didn’t get too sun burnt! Remember Aloe mixed with Lavender essential oils really helps a sunburn heal nicely! God bless!🙏🏼🕊️🫶🏼 🍄
Thanks Guys
Very fun. Thank you!
Thank you for taking us along. I've never been to a Renaissance Faire before ever it was very interesting. That looks like a lot of fun. Next time, don't forget your wallet. LOL 😂
Your brother is a good sport, love his quiet sense of humor.
Great video
Nevaeh, you definitely could be a movie star.
Beautiful, at ease and comedic timing.😍😇❤❤❤
🍄🍄🍄🍄
You really are a breath of fresh air amongst all the YT clones. LOve your life view. Thank you for the mushrooms view of the renaissance fair and keep being you.
I love Renaissance fair especially the bow and arrow shoot out here in ga even the lil ppl dress up as dwarf with armor and large hammers and different group of elves
I have worked Security for these events before and what a experience
Your mushroom hat providing you with Shade. My high school girlfriend was married at a fair many years ago.. Loved this video....
once you're 19, you should look into coming up to BC for Shambhala Music Festival. Its a great time :)
Hope you enjoyed it.
Can you believe this was actually a way of life once? No thank you! lol
