@@valk4869 Standard enough, BUT he utilizes every part of his voice to add a certain affect or emotion. From switching between harsh tones or voice breaks, to a cleaner tone or falsetto. To answer your one question about the arrangements versus the original, I'd say it sounds like they're doing their best to reproduce the same thing for the most part... I know their songs aren't super intricate and complicated, but they are fun and everything just fits perfectly together.
I'd recommend "Tush" for some great Dusty Hill vocals, but you can't go wrong with any of their hits. You probably know many of them already (who doesn't) but I'd love to hear your opinion anyway.

Just pointing out the hypocrisy of the statement. The devil isn't something that exists, but I guaran-damn-tee that old Dusty was in it for the sex at least, if not the drugs. And that's two commandments broken on the daily. You can't just pick and choose. If Heaven exists and there are rules, you can't just throw people up there in hindsight to make yourself feel better. But I'll admit, I was in a bad mood. It was more organized religion I wanted to bash, not you. That was just the medium to do so. And I don't send 'kind thoughts' or 'prayers'. Because it doesn't actually mean anything. "I wrote a few lines on your wall so that I can distance myself from your suffering, but still feel like I did something." is what it's actually for.

What you said about the bass guitar, spot on.
As a guitarist for a few years I did the usual guitarist thing and shat on bass, seeing it as a basic instrument for those too lazy for guitar.
Well one day for our band practice, our bassist was sick and we tried playing through our songs.
Woah, so much energy and feel was lost, and after that I really changed my mind.
Bass guitar is a criminally underrated instrument for keeping a melody flowing, while not usually the forefront, it's always there and keeps you hooked even if you aren't fully paying attention to it.
Always love seeing love for Breaking Benjamin too. Ben did a fantastic solo cover of Dear Agony by himself with an acoustic, it's like someone held him at gunpoint and said play it perfectly, he damn well did.

It’s very similar. A lot of hard electric guitar in the original. Which doesn’t always translate to acoustics that’s why you get so much of the high ding ding ding from the guitar that plays better as electric but is completely authentic to the original. So definitely check out the original. It will give you more appreciation for the range of the acoustic to match the original.

Breaking Benjamin is a great band. A lot of people try to put them into the Nickelback category but i wouldn't . Also another band that kicks butt is Evans Blue... Maybe you can check them out some time!! And yes I will mention Jason Richardson and Luke Holland - Ho's down....Again....Awwwright!!

The tea party. A rock band from Canada that has a "The Doors" sound with Middle Eastern sounds.
    Anything from the 90's.

OMG I remember some of their stuff! I remember I loved them back when I went through a big Doors phase, they kind of filled a hole when you wanted more. Thanks for the memories!

Another great video Geebz! Anything by Clutch will be cool to see you react to. If I had my pick, it would be anything off their second album titled Clutch. That’s the first introduction of them for me. I was 13 when it dropped and a friend brought it over one day. I had never heard anything like it. Seeing them live eventually just made them even better in my mind. Love me some Clutch!

Can’t remember if I’ve recommended this before, but If you haven’t checked them out before, I think you’d dig some Portishead. They’re an immensely chill vibe group, I believe ‘acid jazz’ is the genre they get placed under most frequently.

Deadly Circus Fire - House Of Plagues. Would be cool if you covered that, wicked band from across the pond. Sound like a heavier Tool.

I highly, highly recommend Myles Kennedy’s live performance of ‘Love Can Only Heal’. You can find it on his RUclips channel and it’s an incredible performance and song.

For the love of god, please please please do "Over Now" by Alice in Chains MTV Unplugged. You will not be disappointed! I think you and others on the channel would really enjoy it. I've requested a few songs previously but none on the channel, and I get it, you've got tons of followers now. If you do me this solid, that would be awesome!
Hoping the kid stuff is going well and giving them something to look forward to. You're very generous with your time. 🙏🏻

Think you would get a kick out of them because of different reasons for each.

This band's bassist is great. A lot of the time in metal bands (imo), the bassist tends to get overshadowed and drowned out by the shredding and the vocals. BB's bassist is good at creating basslines that stand on their own as well as cooperate with the other instruments instead of merely accompanying them. Their first 3 albums (imo) are phenomenal. If you want some kickass bass, you should definitely check out some Faith No More. Billy Gould is a badass bassist. King For A Day and Land of Sunshine both have some great, driving basslines where the song would truly not be the same without them. You should also totally check out Portrait #1 by Twelve Foot Ninja for a great bass line, too.
