Have you tried propagating the hoya in water? If so what have you noticed is the difference between the two methods? I usually do water propagation but am thinking of trying using perlite, I hate trying to get moss off of hoya roots.

I actually had a video not long ago which I did experiment propagating Hoya in water, leca and soil. The problem I am running into this year is when the temperature gets cold, the water in the pot gets too cold that my plants actually get cold damage unless I put them under grow light. So I decide to pot them back into soil and use propagation box. I don’t like moss either. I only pull as much as I could and just pot the plant with some moss in roots, and I don’t see any problem yet.
