Thanks! I still need to get a new lens for my actual camera. I went to the track and made a few passes, but the only video I got was in the car with my phone mount.
I’m guessing your chevy between 700-750whp correct, what’s the original diff ratio, i have single turbo GMC Sierra L83 I’m still using 4.10 diff but i never do dig or drag race always rolling now it’s in the shop for fully build 350CID from mast i will turn up the boost my goal mid 5s 60-130 I don’t know how long my trans will be a life I’m guessing i will be around 850whp
@H 111 this car is making closer to 800-820whp it made 690 on 12psi this was 15-16psi. The race weight was 4080lbs and it went 9.7@141 best trap speed is 143. Original gear is a 3.27.
Kooks 1 7/8 headers, kooks x pipe, kooks 2.5" pipes back to the rear end then 2.5" dumps no mufflers. Some of my other videos have it with stock mufflers and all the kooks stuff.
@6pointwho anytime! And no not really in terms of power from pulling the muffler off since the kooks pipes knock down to 2.5" the mufflers are 2.5" stock. I did it more for weight since the mufflers and connection pipes for the mufflers are around 50lbs. But if you're talking kooks headers vs stock exhaust manifolds there's definitely power gained there. Especially if it's a boosted car.
@@andrewd843 I want to go with a LSA on my SS but this is my first time doing any mods to any car ( so excuse my ignorance).. any suggestions with going about it
@6pointwho if you're on fb there's some good info in the chevy ss pages. But it really depends how much power you're trying to make on what you'll need. The stock fuel pump is the same as the zl1 with some reprogramming the stock pump will do mid 500s to low 600s on gasoline usually.
Car sounds perfect! Awesome run she’s fast!
I hope you are feeling better. Looking forward to more SS content 😉
