Been in contact with Honda about a 400ccm 270 degree twin version of this with DCT. They seemed to dig the idea and hinted at the future...damn I hope they do it! Can't stand the CVT and single cylinder in normal scooters, but would love lighter versions of the 1100 Rebel DCT, ADV-X, CTX700N & Forza 750. 🔥🔥🔥
I really do not think they will create something like that. Automatic transmision, other than CTV, requires some capacity, weight, power. No place for 400cc or even 500. In addition building such engine requires lot of time, money and tests. And... would be for small range of motorcycles. Just like u I was hoping for lighter version of nc750 or forza 750. But just will not happen. So I... ordered ADV 350
Ναι.
Aprilia Scarabeo was better, but I agree with you Beverly looks nicer, it is faster and it probably sits more comfortably. However, the wide bars of this ADV350 with more underseat storage (2 full face helmets allegedly) makes it intriguing. Adjustable screen too. Beverly could do with some options. The Gilera GP850 was bonkers, but now Piaggio are too conservative.
@@nivelan Under the Beverly 350's seat (not sure about the newest 300 and 400) I can put a full face helmet and there's still plenty room for a motorcycle jacket or shopping and more room inside the helmet too :) In my opinion the Beverly is the optimal compromise for a scooter: the right wheels sizes, the small sizes, the low center of gravity, low maintenance costs (service at 20,000 Km), cheap running costs with its 30Km per Liter of petrol and so on. The Japanese scooters were engineered principally for the US market where they want big (and ugly in my opinion) bikes so it depends on what style do you like. The Aprilia Scarabeo 300 is basically a Beverly with just a little different options and I missed the opportunity to buy the 500cc version but I'm very happy with my Beverly.
@@billadmond9450 I'm glad you're happy with it and the Bev 400 is top of my wishlist. However, I do think the X-ADV and this ADV350 are an interesting proposition. The boot space looks a bit bigger and the suspension a bit better, so for two up on some rougher roads and on a budget, it's got an edge. So has the automatic motorcycle NC750 etc. A rip off from the Aprilia Man 850 but all the same, Honda are now the innovative company. Piaggio mostly seem to think "if it ain't broke don't fix it". Their last attempt at trying something a bit different was the MP3 in 2006, or that Mana in 2007. I would absolutely love for Piaggio to market an e-Beverly with hot-swappable batteries, a Tuareg with DCT, a hydrogen Guzzi.. Something a bit exciting. Anyway, maybe I'm just jealous you already have a Beverly 350. Enjoy!
@@nivelan I agree that the MP3 was a marketing mistake and they tried something innovative that resulted to be a failure. Regarding the X-ADV and this ADV350 you need to compare apples with apples so the price will make the difference.
Do you think there is slightly more room on the adv 350 than the xmax300? It would look so.
Hi Travel! 😀
Comapring to Forza 350 - more space for legs or same size?

How tall are you? It looks small and cramp..
At the beginning she said he is190 cm or 6’2 in feet
Did she just say "he's 196.2 ft"? I guess I'm as small as an ant.
I think he is stuck on the ADV350 with his long legs and can't answer our question 😇😂🤣😉
🙂
That's is so cool!!!

Piaggio Beverly is the best looking scooter and the most reliable.
