      I could have listened to her continue to shut down any further common analogies/questions/etc that follow that mindset for the rest of the video.       My problem with those idiots who use these is that it puts people who value partners with low body count into bad light. I am such a person, and I hold myself to this principle too, not sleeping with anyone with whom I'm not being in stable long term relationship. My body count is 2, 3 if I count that time I got SA'd, with my wife's being just me.
      This isn't about body per say, but rather notion of sex being something intimate which shouldn't be shared on a whim with strangers.
      Ofc its not dealbreaker, but it does say a lot about person, and some of that people might find attractive or repulsive, based on their preferences.

Its same principle like lets say self proclaimed feminists (misandrists) shouting all men should be held as cattle in the streets. This clearly isnt targeted on sane feminists, however due to both using same name it stains their reputation due to people associating them together.
      Its same for example with Just Stop Oil group being hated by the public due to stupidity of bunch of mentally challenged protesters.

      ​@@samrester6254Oldest member is 89 (born 1934 😬) according to a quick google search so Television as a whole no (though TV was only around for 7 years when they were born) but Color TV's first test run was 1941 and wouldnt be more broadly used until 1954. Point still stands though that that is too damn old to be in charge of anything in this world if youre not going to at least *try* to keep up with it

    That girl going on about the rant about how "Your religion shouldn't dictate my life." I agree so much and I have to deal with Christianity hurting my mental state, I am bisexual but I have my own family members telling me that if I don't be straight then I am better off dead and that they wish they could have a redo on me. And yes I'm in the South so Christianity is constantly bombarding my life.

      i hope that if moving is something youre able to do and want to do that you do it, bc that sounds awful. i hate the religious people that shove their religion in your face. theres a christian guy that sometimes stands at the road crossing near our school, where the two bus stops are. during june of 2023, he handed out little homophobic pamphlets and things SEVERAL TIMES. i always managed to avoid him by not stepping too close but one of my bisexual friends got handed pamphlets sometimes. he also has a MEGAPHONE. he uses a MEGAPHONE to talk about christianity. some of the stuff he says is kinda wild, like on one hand its funny to listen to but its unbelievable how self-centered he is and the fact that he GENUINELY believes in some of the stuff he says is. concerning

      2. Reality is sexist. Evolution is Sexist.
      3. Humans are how they are. Their psychology is what it is.
      4. Males and Females are VASTLY different both in mentality and in responses to stimuli both environmental and social.
      If your experience is that the women in your life handle better stress then the men, I would like some actual examples of such. As I think perhaps your examples, would not even remotely be in line with "Plummeting to your death" or Hearing Bullets wiz by your head". Life and Death scenarios, are very different then losing a job, or dealing with a bad relationship, or whatever average day to day life throws at you. And the example Tate gives is about "Life or Death". Not "Oh my Significant other cheated on me and left me" or whatever.
      As I have traveled the world extensively, served in the Army, On the Police Force, and as a Government Contractor, in addition to holding several degree's in the Field of Psychology Behavioral, Clinical, and others, in addition to courses in neurological interactions specifically for males and females. I can say every woman I have ever met in these fields was 100% an absolute liability and endangered the entire team. This is not my opinion, literally every single women I have worked with in these positions almost got me killed, and I ended up having to save "her" as well as solve the problem or complete the mission, get the bad guy / whatever.
      When you go into a life or death situation with a female, then you can speak to me about your experience with the woman handling it better then a man. (Which you wont because you will have the exact same experience I have had, because that is simply how women are made and built.)
      In my experience with literally 100's of thousands of people both men and women in every situation you can imagine, all over the planet from 36 different countries. The out come is always the same. Men inherently and vastly perform better by orders of magnitudes then women. For "Medical" Psychological", and Evolutionary Reasons. I could explain exactly why this is to you but I'd need to write you a book, maybe I'll make a video on it instead actually....
      The point, is that while "some" women can handle stress better then "Some Men", this is not even remotely the norm. And in fact is an extremally rare anomaly where the human species is concerned.
      I did not make the rules, nor design the human species to be how it is. I simply study the facts, and accept the truth of reality for what it is.
      Would it be nice if things were all equal? Sure absolutely. But they never will be because Men and Women are inherently different, Biologically, and Psychologically. They do not even process information even remotely similar. I mean really, even their perceptions are totally different on the base mental level. When women receive information (Any type of sensory input) they process it totally differently in their brain and mind then a Male. This is a Neurological fact.

      I love that they are so happy about it. I have a friend who is over weight and they are exercising and are really enjoying it. It makes me happy not because they have decided to do something good for themselves but the fact that they didn't think they would enjoy it and are thoroughly enjoying it. I support people doing things that are good for themselves and its just even more awesome if you are enjoying it.

      I do believe, in his mind, simply going on the date means that she wants to hook up, and if she didn't want that, it had to be the food. Except, no. The date is an evaluation, an interview. Maybe you wanna move forward, maybe you don't. Maybe you're just in it for the date itself, a few hours with another human being who are there just for you. The date isn't just a polite formality before sex.

      Fifty years ago, that man would have bragged about his job to his buddies and the chances of a russian spy being one of them would have been pretty low. Today, he bragg about it on discord and it can reach thousands, if not tens of thousands of people ^^'
      Also, the problem that the guy who's ranting was pointing out I think, was not that people on Discord should be banned from government, it's that they let a 21 years old idiot access super secret files because he works in the IT.

      If I need a part & I have an example (ex- the broken thing I need to replace) I'll straight up show it to them....or have a picture. ""Scuse me, where do I find this?" They get a smile & a TY, easy peasy. They go above & beyond? I try to find a superior & tell them "___ is awesome."

    Dating Tips:
    1. Always bring your own car on the first couple of dates so if you're uncomfy you can leave at any time without waiting for anyone.
    2. Always check out the place you're going to before you leave and what kind of neighborhood its in.
    3. Though its illegal in certain places I always recommend carrying around a tazer or pepper spray or any kind of self defense really. Anything is a weapon if you try hard enough.
    4. Always tell someone where you are going and where you are.
    5. If you get off vibes from your date then it is A ok to just leave, broski. Or let the wait staff know and they can help you as well. Nobody is forcing you to stay except yourself.
    6. Try not to let your date boss you around. If you don't wanna do something or they've crossed a boundary you tell them no. No ifs ands or buts.
    7. And make sure to have fun. Dating is supposed to be a nice experience where you meet people you like and get along with.

      It’s quite true. Technically television showed up in the 30s but it was mostly experimental it didn’t mean a damn thing culturally until the 50s when it became possible for normal people to actually own one. I’m 58.       I’m 84. Anyone my age saw television in childhood. There weren’t many channels but it was there. Age and experience have some benefit to governance (though maybe it should include dismissal if you become a millionaire while in Congress.) congress should be representative of the population and the lowering of voting age should have made the election of younger people a distinct possibility.
      Btw I enjoy your show only partly because you look like the boy I was in love with in 4th and 5th grades.

I left Christianity because of certain takes from my own priest and youth ministers (right to die, LGBT+, etc), and it is truly surprising and uplifting to me to see another priest speak out this way. I found it so hypocritical that "We respect them as a couple, but we do not respect or accept what they do in the bedroom." Like, that's not respect? And that was the nicest take I heard. The love your neighbor bit really got lost somewhere. I just really appreciate someone in his position actually showing care for others like the god he follows did while human. I hope he actually preaches that way as well.

      I really like how he didn't talk about the amount of weight he lost, but rather the things he was able to do. I feel that setting a goal with numbers in it makes it too easy to compare yourself to others which really leads to the wrong mental space, so just focusing on the simple achievements/advancements is a far healthier way to handle things, and it shows with how good his mental state seemed.

    I loved the guy who was excited about the progress he’s made in his fitness journey. He seems so genuinely excited and that’s so sweet and wholesome that it almost makes up for the guy who was being an asshole to that girl over paying for dinner. I don’t know what’s so hard for some of these guys to understand. You don’t have to be a giga Chad to get a girlfriend, just be a nice and not creepy person and eventually you’ll find someone. Those are the same guys that will relentlessly shit on overweight or “ugly” women. You don’t even have to be rich. Just manage your expectations, stop obsessing over these cringey manosphere talking points and you’ll be fine.

    like you said about the relatability of a teacher that struggled, my high school chemistry teacher had ADHD and dyslexia, so his teaching method was to heavily break down and simplify questions in the way he had adapted to understand and solve them (in his words ‘cut out all the unnecessary bullshit’). he was also just a fun guy and tried to connect to us students like friends, and that class ended up having the highest grade average than all the others!

    I would get asked my body count, and asked why I was single for so long. It was the first date. It was like an interview, and it really wasn't worth my time. But it wasn't just "why is there a gap in your resume?" It was "what's wrong woth you? Are you like crazy? You have gone 2-3 years without a relationship and have slept with more than 1 person. This is deeply concerning. Like don't get me wrong you're gorgeous, it just makes me worry. Why hasn't anyone snatched you up?"
    I have had enough dates like this to see a pattern. So yea if guys are like this, they can get fucked.
    One last thing, ladies, just insist to pay for your own food for the first 3 dates. Opportunists will find ways to make you not wanting to sleep with them your fault anyway. Why am I single? Because I value my time more than manipulative assholes. But that doesn't sound great during an interview.

    to the guy who couldn't get up off the floor without an aid, I'm super proud of that guy. It's the small things we should keep encouraging people to get healthier for. To him, that's a massive achievement, may not be to others but that's okay. I had an operation for carpal tunnel and I was delighted I can lift a shopping basket without being in excruciating pain. My friend who had an operation on his feet (he used to walk on his tiptoes because walking flat was painful) was so happy when he walked down a set of stairs at school and hugged me and we both smiled. It's the small things that keep us going :)

    I work retail and after 5 years of being a great employee before i had a mental breakdown. After that i was so bad for calling in and going home early that i reasonably couldve been fired.
    Instead they never once wrote me up. Worked on an accomodation plan and the most they asked was a note from the psych I was seeing to approve increasing hours when I asked to not overburden me.
    They told me why once in one of the meetings to address by bad work issues:
    You were a stellar employee for 5 years. We know that you are obviously struggling. It makes no sense yo further punish you fo r your mental health.

    The work may suck cause retail.

I am a Christian myself who does follow the Bible however I always make sure to never use it to dictate another person's life (especially if it's not actually talked about in the Bible e.g. abortion.) Whenever I see people use God as their only justification for an argument nor only does it break one of the 10 commandments (thou shalt not use the lords name in vain) it also gives all of us good Christians a bad look as well.

      I’m brought up Christian, I’ve studied a little about the Bible.
      I believe it is safe to say that people who use their religion to back up their arguments (in a non-religious context) are never true believers. Christian who uses the Lord’s name to establish their point are definitely using it in vain. “Religion is a false universal”, I believe I’ve read this somewhere before. It basically argues that you can never force your own religion, any beliefs actually, on anyone under any circumstances.

    11:00 I HATE how so many people here in the US BELIEVE that it's a "Christian" country because the founding fathers were MOSTLY religious...
    The founding fathers KNEW there were different religions, they KNEW America was a land of new beginnings, they KNEW if religion controls a country it will discriminate. They also HATED being taxed without representation and having to follow the ordinances of a religious monarchy that conflicted with their views...
    They founded the US as a secular (NON-RELIGIOUS) country while putting forth separation of church and state. The church (no matter the type) had no control over the government and the government had no control over religious liberty.
    Another argument that people use is the whole "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." portion of the declaration as "evidence" the church should rule the country.
    NO... "their creator". "THEIR"!!! Not "OUR creator". Their creator upholds multiple religions and non-religions. If you believe God created you, congrats that's YOUR creator, not mine.

    The lock and key analogy is so short-sighted: keys wear down with repeated use. Eventually, they either won't open any lock or they'll break. I'm fairly certain the guys using these analogies never think this far ahead in their effort to insult all women they've deemed as sloots.

    I really struggled when I was first learning to read. So my Dad sat down with me and taught me...he is severely dyslexic. It helped both of us immeasurably and I now have a part time hustle ghost writing/editing/handling written communications for an illustrator now. Reading and writing are an absolute passion of mine nowadays. Huge respect to my old man for toughing it out with me ❤❤❤

      My dad was functionally illiterate and his experience in school caused my parents to test me and find out that I'm dyslexic when all my teachers insisted that I was just a day dreamer who should be punished. When he was asked to read us a story he would make up a funny tale based on the pictures. We thought he was being silly and our mother told us years later that he didn't want his girls to think less of him for stumbling over the words in a kids' book.

    A tip for any young women reading this: men like this guy don't deserve you. Never let them guilt you into doing something you're uncomfortable with. Buying dinner does not give him access to your time, your home, or your body, and if he tries to make you think that it does, he's a scumbag. Don't feel bad getting free dinner from a scumbag.

    When you said you'd rather have a teacher or tutor who'd previously struggled with a subject, that really resonated with me on the other side of the equation, as someone who has been asked to train or tutor people before. I've always been book smart, and I learn most new concepts fairly quickly and easily. When I've tried to teach people things, it was often difficult for me to help them because I couldn't see from their perspective why they were not grasping the concepts, or how to better help them do so. Back in my senior of high school, my classmates voted me most likely to become a teacher, but they were way off because it just didn't appeal to me for the reasons above and also because I didn't want to work with kids. 😂

    35:00 I've experienced the flip side of things, in a classroom where the 'gifted' had to tutor those who were struggling. This also was in elementary school, so our social and teaching abilities were essentially non-existant. My experience for that math class was: "I followed the instructions on the board and it worked." How the heck was I supposed to understand where people would struggle and where mistakes would be made, much less help them? Needless to say, I made for a very lousy tutor and never wanted to do that again.

      they always did this to us in primary school - as a gifted kid, I would be seated next to someone who was struggling. but could I help them? most of the time, not at all! I'M not the one who is TRAINED and PAID to help students. Just because some kids find certain things easier does NOT qualify them to help others.
      Most of the time, I'd just get distracted and have a conversation with the person I was supposed to help! I felt less sorry for myself, though, and more had for the other person. how are they supposed to improve at a topic if nobody will help them properly??
      the school system is just. odd.

    Thank you so much for the arachnophobia TW. I keep wishing people would do so. I was diagnosed with it a couple of years ago. The sight of them, even thinking of them, causes me to have tactile, visual, or auditory hallucinations. It's awful. I wish more creators were as thoughtful as you ❤

      My tired brain didnt caught the TW fast enough to be able to skip it, so it would have been soooo great if it has last just a little bit more or with a written warning too. But yeah definitely that's so cool it has been said, it made it manageable enough for me to be able to sleep even if I had a really short time to see it.
      I didnt knew it was possible to officially diagnose a phobia tho ? I thought it was just like... "Yeah, got it, i'm way too afraid of this thing and my reactions are way too bad, it's a phobia". Is it diagnosed by a specific doctor or something ?
      (Sorry for bad english, tired brain hits haaaard tonight and i cant sleep ahah)

      @Akito Kutikabanae Hello, yeah, I spoke with a psychiatrist about it. People tend to simplify a phobia as a fear but it's actually defined as "an anxiety disorder defined by a persistent and excessive fear of an object or situation." As such, it can be diagnosed. 😊

    9:34 as a Christian, I agree with this woman. I wouldn't want someone trying to force their religious practices on me, why do I get a free pass to do it to someone else?
