If you ever come to Europe and pass in Belgium: there is always a parking space/work shop/vacation stop/ visit Brussels, Gent, Bruges, … with us. There is room in the house, shower/bath and public transport to get you in the major cities!

Think about Central Europe or Canada. Relatively safe and vehicle repairs are available if required. Depends what your looking for. Weather is an issue in Winter in Europe . A glass of water left on the table can freeze overnight without heater. Without aircon you will not want to be in the Middle East or say Central America in Summer. Best of luck making a decision. I think N.Z. is the best first option for taking the Mog overseas. It's home and easy and familiar. Bit less of a headache travel wise. From there South America would be the next destination. Then where ever...

Alot of your modification efforts have been very helpful in my vehicle preparation. I spent some time in beautiful Iceland this April hiking & camping & early May without my vehicle. I'm not sure if you can even bring a vehicle there but it would be amazing to see you explore the highlands via F roads. This country is absolutely amazing!!!! I know you've built to go overseas with the Mog but with shipping costs and even trying to get on a ship at the moment you might want to stick to Aus for a while. My company regularly ships 100 - 150 containers to various destinations around the world each month. At the moment we struggle to get spots for 50 and even when we book 2 or 3 months out we'll often get booted at short notice. Costs have also gone from $1.5k per container to Europe to $10k.
Many congrats on the engagement ( and love the golden hose clip) in the UK we call them jubilee clips so you may have to buy a diamond one in the far future too I have loved watching the Mog build and your journey so far. As far as adding number 3, I think there is never a perfect time and nature will decide when its going to happen anyway so just go with your gut and your heart. I wish you both all the luck in the world for your future together

We soon will have our MAN HX60 (then one Chris liked from the Australian military) and put our selfbuild box on it to travel with our two kids (3-5yrs). More support here in Australia. Then when the baby is a toddler than go overseas. Also don't rush touring Northern Territory & north QLD...take your time. We took 10yrs to complete one lap of Australia living in our caravan full-time. Cairns is receiving lots of rain at the moment during winter which is unseasonal....currently living here.

I did a world trip a few years ago on a motorbike, I couldn't recommend South America highly enough! It has all the natural beauty you could ever want, and an abundance of national parks to setup in your mog and go hiking or exploring. Personally I found SE Asia too busy for overland / camping travel. But I did meet plenty of people that loved it there. Kashmir area in India and Pakistan along with Iran also massive highlights, but not as relaxing to travel as South America. The top end will be awesome and definitely try the Frenchmans track up on the cape!
