Paul Hackman miss u bud ! Helix . Awesome guitar s a. friend b in the 1980$. Rip .
You can hear a lot of the roots of what Helix became in these songs. They certainly refined and improved their sound in subsequent albums.
I hadn't heard this one. Thanks for sharing it.
Simply Old School 80's ⚡🔥💪👊🤘😎
Early helix is the best no bs back then! 😎
Thanks man! Been looking around for this album.
I heard this album when i was a child
Need a box set
Oh, My, Lord.
It's a good thing I didn't hear this from them first! If I had, I would have dismissed them!!
Were they Trying to be Country-Rock??
SO glad they got a different drummer & bassist, and improved their rhythm & lead guitar parts!!
Granted they eventually tried to go pop-ish, which turned me off from them for awhile, but luckily we'll always have "No Rest For The Wicked" with that great single "Heavy Metal Love"!!
Derrick Wray couldn't agree less. This album is stunning and on balance the best they have done.
No rest for the wicked had the same bass player as this one
I find that the album is a little too mellow to be considered "Hard Rock". Classic or 80's rock would probably fit the album a bit better. I'm just comparing them to their counterparts at the time like Aerosmith, Van Halen, Iron Maiden, etc.
OF COURSE IT'S HARD ROCK.
No man, it's pure Hard heavy rock
