    You can hear a lot of the roots of what Helix became in these songs. They certainly refined and improved their sound in subsequent albums.

    Oh, My, Lord.
    It's a good thing I didn't hear this from them first! If I had, I would have dismissed them!!
    Were they Trying to be Country-Rock??
    SO glad they got a different drummer & bassist, and improved their rhythm & lead guitar parts!!
    Granted they eventually tried to go pop-ish, which turned me off from them for awhile, but luckily we'll always have "No Rest For The Wicked" with that great single "Heavy Metal Love"!!

    I find that the album is a little too mellow to be considered "Hard Rock". Classic or 80's rock would probably fit the album a bit better. I'm just comparing them to their counterparts at the time like Aerosmith, Van Halen, Iron Maiden, etc.
