For soooooo many years i've had to wonder what all my favorite søngs from the Elder would sound like live..... well yøu guys cleared that all up for me & yøu did an absolutely epic job. ThankYou.
WOW!! This is really good! The music sounds good and the drummer is spot on, killing it! The vocals need work but you can tell you all put in a lot of work on this and again the drummer knows these songs very well. Dark Light and Escape from the Island are done well here. Im a KISS fan and wasnt a fan of this album when it was released but when I hear it now and relive these songs, it is a Great album. I think now more than then. I read where Paul and Gene had said that they think Music from the Elder was a good album, but not a good "KISS" album. I dont know until recently if they ever did any of the material live other than the TV show Fridays.. I know it will never happen now but A Music from the Elder concept themed stage show would be truly amazing.
I have an epic idea. Kiss and Ezrin involvement. One show at MSG The Elder performed with Grohl on drums, River’s Quomo on lead . Matt Bellamy on piano and keyboard James Hetfield on guitar, guest vocals on. Odyssey and Just a boy Daniel John’s with 20 piece orchestra and Flea on Bass. That would blow our minds and sell lots of Dvd’s

And as they are all current significant artists it keeps the profile of the show high and relevant. Instead of a bunch of hair metal contemporaries being wheeled up there. Oh I forgot Josh Holme too.
Thank you! I adored this album. When Kiss dismissed it and came with "I Love It Loud" I slowly said goodbye to them. After "Crazy Nights" I didn´t buy any of their albums. "Odyssey" is epic. On RUclips is also a great version sung by its composer, Tony Powers.

I must admit, at first I heard the vocals on The Oath and I wasn’t too sure where this was gonna go, but the longer I listened, it really did get better ! The Oath, World Without Heroes, and “I”, are my favorite tracks from the Elder. With the exception of the vocals on Oath, it was all pretty good ! Nice job guys !
6 months work bro one or twice a week (y) we performed it first in february but there were some uncertainties so we keep on rehearsing, we did it mostly for all 2016 for the 35 year celebration we began rehearsing in november 2015 our first show was in february and then this one in may...

it's too complicated it's a little shop an old lady somewhere in town, she does costumes for classical dancers i don't think she does shipping and handling really i don't think you can order from her.
Well done guys! The Elder isn't my favorite album..bu it is no where near as bad as people make it out to be.... it is WAY better than Unmasked...most of Dynasty and definitely better than Hot in the Shade....Crazy Nights, Monster and Sonic Boom. I think if The Elder had been released at a different time in their career it wouldn't have gotten such a poor reception. I will probably catch shit for this but I actually like most of the Elder more than Love Gun (with the exception of the title track, I stole your love and Shock me....that album is weak in my opinion) but I did see the 77 tour...which was epic!! Cheers!!
I always thought this album was total crap until I heard it in it`s original intended order. I realize now that it`s a very good album. Great job from what I hear so far. Pretty bold move playing this whole album. Kudos!
The most unique Kiss tribute performance I have ever seen. Nothing beats the original line up but those cover bands are a dime a dozen. Not this. This is a stand alone performance. Absolutely incredible fellas
I learned my lesson about stealing at an early age when I shoplifted this cassette from Miller’s Mart in Valparaiso Indiana when it first came out. My sister told on me and my dad took me to the store and made me explain to the owner what I did and why it was wrong. I’m the most honest person you’ll ever meet now. I’m sure this shock has a ton to do with it. Props to my parents for parenting like champs.

Being a Musician Myself, Really Liking You Guys Musicality, But If I were to make One More Musical Suggestion (Other than Getting Blackstar ID:60 ID:260 Guitar Amps) the weakest link in Your Band's SOUND Is; If You Guys can Improve your Vocals, would be REALLY GREAT for You (Until You the time you may Possibly get around to (Privately) Working On Improving Your Voices & Singing Abilities, Overall your Elder Tribute Is Very Good, but if You Guys Had some kind of Vocal Pitch Correction Software or hardware Units, Would be Difficult for ANYONE, to have anything Negative to Say about your Band! Waves has Software suitable for Real Time Live Performance and or TC Electronic Has Possibly the Best Real Time Vocal Pitch Correction Devices and Software available Anywhere.....
Just a suggestion, but have the drum solo during the "escape from the Island" instead of "mr blackwell". Also, maybe look at the 1997 CD set order..as intended for the film. Starting with "fanfare"..".just a boy", etc. Overall, Great job!!
we did that to keep in line with the fact that the drum solo has always beem on a simmons song you know god of thunder and also to give blackwell a bit of a lift i was really killing the set..thanks for the input though we appreciate it (y)
I guess I saw " Mr Blackwell" as the bass solo, with the blood spitting . I would go even further with a middle extended section...with the backwards voices and make it really evil . Do the blood spitting in the middle of the song, rather than the beginning. Its all good..I'm a huge fan of the Elder.
Very cool to see. There were some highs and lows for me, mainly: what's up with not doing any of the verses for Under The Rose, only the chorus? That's one of the best songs on that album so that was disappointing.
interesting that they played the songs in the "official but wrong" order. a brave attempt! would have been good to see Gene sing the verses in Under The Rose. Ace could use the vibrato pedal at a lower setting, its a little heavy handed. a couple of instances where Paul & Gene should be harmonising, not singing the same thing. but overall, very well done! not an easy album to play.
Even though we could barely hear him (mic needed turning up), it was a nice nod having “Eric” sing “Under the Rose” since he sang the demo before it ended up as Gene’s song.
we were lucky we managed this muchthe screen behind us was supposed to have the photo of the stage kiss used for the I video wasn't working this was also amongst a 3 bands night tribute concept album show we had genesis selling england by the pound before us and pink floyd dark side afterwards...we had another camera and it worked for only the other half of the show behind us ...so we put it out as a two part show the first half being the first time did the elder in february and the second half being this show in may for the second part the camera that did work on here is the link after 6 months rehersals and only two show done and making the costumes we just dropped it it was a lot of work way too much it cost us loads and we got practically nothing back all to put it out on youtube for you guys...still we are happy to have done it..here is the link to the other show ruclips.net/video/5JzeD-2icnY/видео.html
