to properly use the boosters, here's how it goes.
you'll notice you have 4 different stats when using a core crystal, truth, justice, bravery, and compassion.
now the trick to make the blade you want appear is you have to make the stat of the element of the blade you want to pull be maxed out by using the boosters.
you can tell what element the booster is by selecting it and the core crystal will be surrounded by its 2 elements.
in justice booster's case it is light and darkess, you want darkness therefore you want justice to be boosted to max, so you should use as many justice boosters as possible at one time until justice is at least the highest stat on the driver, then you activate the crystal( the people telling you to only use 1 booster are dumb, you need to have the justice stat be the highest before pulling to make the method actually work).
by doing this, you raise the chances of getting the blade you want because it makes it where you are more likely to get a blade of that element.
and then you just pull doing this same method until you get kosmos.
trust me, I have every single rare blade in the entire game pulled already.
as for how you got adenine, after failing on a ton of pulls you get a guaranteed rare blade from a pity group.
you get 3 pity blades and then it resets your rates again.
also be warned, you may have to pull until you have every darkness common possible to get the rare blade you want to finally be pulled.
I pulled nothing but dark commons until all my commons were dark and had my blade capacity almost full before I pulled kosmos, then I released them all and started over with the next element.
apparently the more dark commons you have pulled already it increases the chances of getting the rare dark blades since less are in the gacha pull because of it.
same with the other elements.
You don’t find the rotbart, the rotbart finds you.

Rewatching this from the beginning and in the event no one ever mentioned it, the song that plays when you fight unique monsters in areas before Mor Ardain is "Those Who Stand Against Our Path" and its my personal favorite song in the game and I wish it played more or that there was an optional to toggle between it, "You Will Recall Our Names", and default.
