Cool bro
Every cutscene that uses in-game models takes place in an area that exists in the game. This is true for Xenoblade 1 and Xenoblade X too. I know Xenoblade 1 had a secret location of the cutscene where Face Nemesis was being put together, or when Jade Face had his memories zapped. Having in world context of where these cutscenes take place is really cool.

Good sign that the Torna content was actually created after development and not just cut out to sell as DLC later
the Bionis' Shoulder (before D.E.) was in the game for the same reason (in a cutscene)
Yeah! This is such a cool out of bounds thing, you can even reach the area in the final cutscene with the bridge and the port, I tried it back when it got discovered and it really was mind blowing
Here's a cool thing you can find in this room: while still on the outer rim, go towards the see-through wall through which you can see the Architect, place yourself between the Zohar and the Architect, then go towards the Zohar and land on the little platform between the two. You'll find the actual Trinity Processor there.
ah, yeah, right, the trinity processor is there alright (but without the core crystals (duh!) in it, I think)
It's been so cool watching Flyann go from some random dude trying out this random JRPG to being the biggest Xeno nerd in the world.

I think every now and then you should cut to a full screen of the stuff in the greenscreen behind you. (Especially when it links up with what you're describing) Just some variation in the shots might make a better viewing experience cuz currently I can only listen to your videos.

I hope Xenoblade 3 can clarify the difference between an Aegis and a Trinity Processor. The game never uses the term Trinity Processor, so people defaulted to calling Alvis an Aegis, when he technically isn't. I do think all 3 Trinity Processors will be in the game.

I knew Tora was the most powerful being in the universe, he created a weapon capable to surpass the Aegis in his home, and now he created a new universe, the power of the best boi in XC2 is unlimited.
That Xenosaga music is so good. They had some weirder tunes of the series for sure but it fits those games so well. Cool video!

Do you think standing in front of the conduit should cause serious health problems? Like a super duper demon’s core and more like a neutron star. (Which is electromagnetic and radioactive, which the conduit was mentioned to be electromagnetic in the lore about its discovery in Africa)
i dont think its radioactive, considering that klaus was at point blank range of the conduit before the experiment, (pun half-intended) blew up in his face .
but you defitnitly shouldnt touch it. iirc, the zohar of xenosaga teleported people to the upper domain with a single touch. machinery is not affected so they had to use machines to move the zohar,
i dont think the conduit would do that with a single touch tho, beacause that would defo sound the alarm for aoidos. but then again considering the fact that klaus warped half of his soul and body to bionis (and probably 99% of earths population) that can really go both ways. i think its best to just leave the conduit alone. (something that no one in any xeno game has bothered doing.)

Just a theory... but loading assets or whole areas from a disk takes time, especially on the Nintendo Switch. So to swiftly transition into the flashback cutscene they would actually have this area already be loaded when talking to Klaus. In this case they could perform a simple re-positioning of the camera into the room that is already there. This also means that probably a lot of other areas seen in cutscenes are somewhere around the place where the cutscene is triggered.

For the first zombie glitch there were two separate 1 frame windows that it worked on and XC2 runs at 30fps.
The first one was 1 frame before landing and the second was 3 frames after the damage number went away. IIRC it got patched out in 1.5.1 unintentionally.
I was actually the one who found the first one and it was purely accidental 😅

As best as I can tell it was patched for Torna player switch mechanics so I'd say it was a good trade.

Huh, i never knew about this! I think it's fascinating where monolith actually put the conduit, right under Elysium (Even if they had no intention of the player ever getting there). Instead of some other separate instance
Every cutscene in this game is rendered in real time, meaning that yes, with some technical knowledge of the game any scene that does not transition with a loading screen can be accessed.
I've been preparing for Xenoblade 3 as well, I just picked up Xenogears so I'm gonna try to beat it before Xenoblade 3 comes out

it's kind of like Halo 2 probably, they made everything you see in cutscenes in game and there were glitches to get to them, was fun trying to get to all of them back in the day when I learned that
I mean you can get to the Lush Green Elysium? Rex Dies and you walk around there before the end of the first chapter. Though I still wonder if it can be explored further?
You can actually go to the lush green version of Elysium, by playing ch 1

Out of bounds Elysium is my favorite aspect of breaking this game
They put it in the same area as elysium so they don't need a loading screen in cutscenes that take place in both places.
Flyann is officially more powerful than Klaus. Still a ways to go before reaching Tora's level though.

All areas are quite regular in the game as it was in the first part, only not all areas can be reached regularly (for obvious reasons).
In every world / titan there are areas of this type that also contain things that are only for cutscenes.
but it's interesting it has collisions (that you don't clip through the zohar room I mean), the cutscenes probably utilize the in-game physics to a certain degree, maybe...?

8:53 oh man, that aged so poorly, i'm still pretty disappointed that the Conduit had literally nothing to do with Xenoblade 3... and 3 is supposed to be the end of the trilogy, but it created more questions than actually answering them, oh well, let's hope that the next trilogy has more to do with the Conduit/Zohar

Exactly! But way way more powerful. It’s mainly a gate way between dimensions that leads to higher plains of existence. Leading to those who claim it’s power to ascend. There a lot of extra lore to it, like it being found in Africa and it trapping higher beings

Im going to be honest, I always assumed the conduit was maybe like, ten feet tall at most. This room is way, WAY bigger than I thought. I guess i never understood the perspective properly.

"true fans" lol. No, that's not the general consensus. A lot of games do this, where they have assets hidden for use in cutscenes.
