We can see why you miss the delicious food 🤤
No wonder since we in northern Europe lack food culture and have horrible weather most of the year. Hence very limited possibilities to be outside enjoying food and drinks.
All the walking made u healthy! Be happy!! Keep the weight off ur heart will be grateful - with Serbian soups veggie dishes and more! Serbians don’t eat this on a regular basis!! we eat what we call “by spoon only” so it’s all healthy.
If you really want some fresh, hearty food go out to rural Vojvodina to traditional homesteads called "salaši" and enjoy the countryside.

Sremmski Karlovci nearby are also worth visiting, there are also other beaches like Oficirac and so

Actually,wineyards in Vojvodina are some of the oldest in Europe.First wineyards were near Sirmium-Sremska Mitrovica,made in time of Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius Probus at the end of third century.

After Novi Sad you can visit city of Niš on south of Serbia. Niš is important historical city with great food. All good food that you tried in Belgrade in Niš is much better. From burek to BBQ and other food. Enjoy in Serbia and please visit south of Serbia.

Great video of your first day in Novi Sad Serbia. Glad you showed the Church with that beautiful and colorful steeple. It always makes travel more fun when the local people are friendly and helpful.

right next to Novi Sad (around 15-20 mins with public transport) is a very cute town of Sremski Karlovci (it is actually more like a village but has an honorary status of a town because it holds such an important place in European history!). It is also located on the Danube river, an amazing and a quick sight to explore before heading off to a sandy river island that's right across! The island is so beautiful that locals call it Koh Chang, with fine river sand and willow trees. There's a hotel and a fish tavern on the river bank in Sremski Karlovci where you can find boats to take you to the island. If you're up for a chill day in beautiful nature after sightseeing, I highly recommend you check it out!

While you're in Serbia, I recommend you visiting the Uzice, Zlatibor district and visit Zlatibor. In Uzice you can try a specialty of Zlatibor district - Komplet lepinja (amazing). You can also visit old fortress of Nikola Altomanovic.
As for Zlatibor, the prices are quite high and it is a nice place to stroll. You can visit the Dino park, The monument, Ride the Gold gondola... There is an amusement park, a panorama wheel... A lot of things...
Visit as many of these things as you can, trust me, you won't go wrong :D

Made me cry your video. Novi Sad is my born city but I live way far from there, in Canada at the west coast. I enjoyed every minute of your video. Thank you for presenting my Novi Sad this good. There are more things to present but in general you covered some really nice things like fortress, festival, beach. Restaurant is also one of my favourite ones and that desert is a hell good!

9:04 In Romania this soup is called “ Supă cu găluște” and it’s a dish specific to Moldova and Bucovina regions.
Usually it is homemade, yet can be found at some restaurants as well.
The dumplings are made using a mix of semolina and eggs.
Romania and Serbia share much of history and were influenced by various cuisines. Love Romania from Serbia

Novi Sad is fastest growing city in Serbia(year of 1991, 220 000, year of 2021, 360 000 people).
Together with Belgrade
and small town in western Serbia called Čajetina, mutch more famous as Zlatibor,
the richest city in Serbia.
About traditional food.
First dish is a part of any holliday lunch in Serbia. Yelow soup+rinflajsh+SARMA+ROASTED PIG.
For second dish and desert. Second dish is very common on the menu in Serbia but i do not know for it, is it traditional or not. Third is some modification of traditional desert.

How long are you traveling in the Balkans? My wife and I leave Sept. 1st for 5 weeks. We are doing 25 new countries for 25 years of marriage and have 18 months to complete the goal. This will be 8-17. I really liked your Romania experience and will be visiting some of the places you did. Thanks for all the information I really enjoy your videos.
