Lmfao - I feel good walking in to an organized workspace in the morning. Once it gets too torn up it gives me anxiety. It’s only my workspace tho, u should see the other half of the room. Looks like a 🌪 came through.
Congratulations on your 60k subscribers . Love the unedited videos and your sense of humor
Congratulations on 60k subs mate!
congrats on the 60K Jason! I love your method to "retension the pins" that will help me a lot! I have replaced a few battery connectors because of a resessed filter pin here and there. I never thought of trying that :D
When I was getting my shop done it was a pain in the ass. So much stress. But when you are done, so much pride, and relief.
Congratulations for 60k amazing videos an funny as well

Happy you have so many describes n you deserve it n you are one of those great technicians some can watch even if they don’t know anything about phone repairing n technology. I think I have lost count how many times I have praised you because how selfless you are and a great technician.
Thank you. Life has not been the same here with everything that’s going on in the world. I am glad to say business has been really good but other circumstances not so good. The kids are back in school this week and I’m finding my way back to RUclips. A lot has changed in the world since my last video. I am hoping I haven’t changed too much. :-)
I hope all is well for you. 🙏

RE streaming other things such as building the new shop --- no contest : STREAM IT !
And stop fretting about us seeing all your goofs and the time it takes to refocus the scope etc. Thats part of the process. I can only speak directly from myself, but I know from experience that many of the nerd types that Im sure make up a large portion of your viewers arent even a little bothered by such things and some would even rather have that in than out. Myself I would rather have the reality than the "cleaned up to make it look nice". Just do what you do and don't worry about us. You may lose a few, but IMO if they dont like your content then why were they here to start with.
And as for being nervous about live streaming and stuff :: don't think in terms of talking to a camera, or a huge audiance. Think like you're talking to a live customer sitting at the counter talking to you about their phone and talk to that customer. Forget the camera and the viewers. We're just that customer in your shop.
I learned lot of repairing from u sir
I love your videos ! one Question though how do you get your power supplys data over onto a text overlay on to your video ? i have the same powersupply as you do!
JASON Congratulations on 60 k subscribers .... ( Viele Grüße aus Deutschlan ) and Syria
Congratulations Jason on 60k ---- random... random? random! random....
I'm from Melbourne Australia :) and no, I did not send you this phone but if anyone needs board repairs in Australia, I specialise in this.
I love my JBC CP-2E Tweezers Station & my JBC CD2EV10 Iron Station 👌🏼
I love my JBC NASE-2B hot tweezers and soldering iron. It is THE BEST!
Hi.. Nice Video.. Will you help me to repair my iPhone 8 Plus logic board which was damaged at HDD position while upgrading to 256GB ?
nice work
I'm extremely rough with my test i ......I gulped in anticipation, but no. You recovered well. Hey. I'm from Melbourne Australia too.
Hi Jason, I hope all is well. I have a concern about the error message 78 that appears when try to update my iPhone. I saw in a previous video that you was able to save data and switch the nand... could that method work that for my iPhone? Thank you.
Hi.
Jason you are my Master :)
I like your vid you are proffesionall.
Regards
Congrats! I had one the other day with that top screw really bad. Flash and everything else worked. I had accidentally bent one right there extremely bad. There were cracks and fractures. It is far-out that everything still worked. There is no way! The Mwhatever IC up there still worked too ! I couldn't believe it. I was going to cry. Simple Tristar change or something and I rested my hand on the part of board while soldering and snapped it, kinda. LOL. I don't use that board holder anymore, LOL. I've seen some a few customer self-inflected wounds that amazingly still works for that area. And some that don't and obvious why not.
I wound up getting the passcode on that one and everything seems to work. They got really lucky and it only peeled away ground plane. I slapped some UV mask on it and sent it home. One of my biggest fears is accidentally breaking a board. Especially if it was set to be a no-fix. Then its instantly turned from trash into gold. Lol.
I broke a 6 board once. Dropped it on the top center antenna thingie. Luckily it was only in for data but the broken PCB didn’t seem to affect it much.
@@ststele Far-out.
Hello Jason, can you help? With dc power supply when i put on iphone 5s the amp goes instantly on 0.15a and stay on it. Try to boot nothing happen. I had also this issue with an iphone 7. This one go to 0.25a. Do you have an idea why and maybe tell wich component is short? Hope you can help me. And congrats on 60K subscribers.
Hey Jason, do you have any advice as to how to get better at repairs. I've done some research and learning concepts such as AC and DC circuit analysis and fundamental principles, but when I try to repair any iPhones I can't seem to troubleshoot it effectively.
Let's go ahead and stop saying let's go ahead. Shut up and work.lol.
Hi STS, Can you tell me what is the purpose of unbinding the Wifi chip, how do you do it and what chip need to be re-programed? Thank you for making great videos, keep them coming.

Hi Jason, you are doing a great job. I appreciate your work.
Congratulations for your precious 60k subscribers 🎊🎉🎉
I am also a cell phone technician and I want to add more knowledge and experience from you.
Can you please guide me how can I do it.
Why do you put your red probe on ground? I thought red was the positive?
Thanks
love u jason
Congo 🎉🎉🎉 plz. do a iCloud hardware bypass
sometimes it is about what you know and how to check and/or what even IF it is the pins and now we know as well
video muito bom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
very nice
Hey Jason I was wondering where do you get the parts for ADD main or boost shorts ?
I order most of my small components from Digikey. Here's a video I posted a while back showing how to find the stuff on their website:
ruclips.net/video/75eBUzWk2wU/видео.html
I need your help iPhone 8 no communication no display only backlight.
Jason, you worry too much about being perfect all the time, no human is perfect.
We all make misstooks :).
Maybe you need to go over the connectors on the bridge tool, sloppy plugs perhaps?
Although "sloppy plugs" does sound like a digestive condition ha ha .
Over the last year or so I’ve really gotten used to making clippy, edity videos. I almost forgot what it was like to record without intensions of editing (& not chopping up a perfectly good video). I think it may just be a connector problem with my ip7 ibridge.
That ibridge/breakout box is such a handy tool, well worth you looking at it.
It does create some stray inductance and capacitance, that can act as a filter and round off sharp transitions on the logic waveforms.
But the frequency/impedance would need to be high for a big filter effect.
You don't have the time for editing, also when you are filming we dont exist, so calm down :-)
Although you are talking to yourself while filming, and that makes you mentally mad LOL :-D
jason is coming@
Looks like a phone I have left on the car roof before departing for a drive! I have done this to a blackberry playbook and a Microsoft phone and counting! 🤦♂️
congrats on 60k + :) if you get a repair where you get only 1/2 the info then give em a 1/2 repair.. people should tell you the whole story and not expect you to repair a no image when they know there's more going on.
Congratulations on the 60k
Considering the 2nd phone, i think the problem is with the finger print because of the way the old screen is broken and when u used the iBridge u got a short on the pin that connect the two connectors
And u never tried plugging the owners screen with the display only and i bet he never did as well
Can you check that and do a follow up video
Thanks :) I thought I had tested without their home button connected but can’t recall without watching my own video. I went back and tested their display assembly without the home flex connected but it’s still no image.
@@ststele thanks, it worth the shot
Pls a link to Paul Daniel channel
Nice unedited video. Do not worry if you have to step away from the camera. That is is what video playback speed is far. Is there some way to setup a hotkey to do a quick screen blur/unblur when you need to make sure you are hiding customer information when testing the phone.
Hey, that’s a good idea. I’m betting there’s a way to do it. Thanks
I wish i could b s mart like vous
You deserve at least 6M subscribers.
If your languages were hindi(India) then
You must would have 6M subscribers.
Keep repair and live long life.
Must make video on other brand also.
Samsung, LG etc..
Thanks.......👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Dont you use uv to make the tracks visible?
Sometimes if I’m looking at the monitor rather than through microscope lenses. I use alcohol or flux more often.
i like you said "apple logo" :)
My only issue is the bubblier in the background audio. Good Video. thanks
hi Jason , Thanks for share your knowledge
At 1:04:49, it looks like the phone was upside down when you pressed the "power button". Maybe I'm missing something.
Jason
I love you
But, you said it was drawing 1.7A...........anyway. Big fan of the channel. I've learned a lot. Thanks.
nice
🤙🏻
hello me jason i wont to know how to download or online see phone pcb
mr jason or any other person reply me pl
you = "oh LORD"...ahhh you know my Friend too.......
They don't have a place in Australia to fix that phone - it cost a fortune to ship that phone I would imagine
You could try Paul Daniels at pldaniels.com or Lee with fixingthingz4u
They are in AU but I know it’s a big place so they are likely not “local”. Could be worth a try though. :-)
2nd one has touch id issue... means touch id button shorted
im always the last one who comments but...........im the no.1 fan here
Congrats Jason, your still an inspiration. Here is a link to a awesome tool I came across (The iSocket), you probably have it already but I thought I would link it. Also there is a video of it being used by a great micro-solderer in London Fedrico Cerva.

Hi I like to join with you and do the repairing
Thank you for cleaning up my IPhone 6 plus
I hope you pass 60k soon and congratulations for when you do. Just stream what you do. people will watch regardless of your mistakes. Louis streams absolute garbage 90% of the time. Just get on and do it.
Sounds like a clogged drain in the background gurgling
Nobody should remove any screws without a magnet pad. Becasue long screw damage is severe. And you will have to pay to get it fixed. Had you NOT put a long screw in the wrong place, it would not have needed such repair.
Somehow, that does not look like it had a screen repair. More like a person used a long screw problem. That is a horrible looking phone. This response is from the first phone.
First one 👍🏻
Thanks for commenting
You really cannot get upset when you show the world how to repair something, and then they botch the job... Hence the term "Professional Repairman" .... Sometimes you shoot yourself in the foot; now to try to correct the course?
This is very true. But I didn’t just shoot myself in the foot. I shot myself in the balls, both of them.
call me sir please
