Im a BMW technician and I love my job to death. But I would trade jobs with you at any time! You make it look so easy and professional. I salute you. Great job!
A true master makes everything look easy.
Thumbs up from the UK. The iBridge looks like a great tool to use!
Thumbs up from Greece
heya that is a handy dandy tool that you got there finding the defect component is much easier
This is the new Comedy Central channel lol good stuff mate ;)
heh heh heh.....He said "hard"......heh heh heh. Shut up Beavis.
Definitly a very helpful tool for real diagnostics, especially with the pin labels, but with some bigger spacing between the pads it would be even better, in that size they are too close for my taste the risk of shorting pins is very high.
That moment..when you pressed power key, I was holding my breath for 4 seconds .. and then... yeah ... apple logo :D
the crazies man on earth is back hehehe
Love the way you Solder , Desolder components using Hot Air Gun...Would appreciate if you guide us how close to hold the Hot Air Gun's Tip while trying to remove any IC or component in your upcoming videos :) and i dont know why everytime i see you unsoldering any ic or component it feels like you keep moving the Hot Air Gun back and forth to avoid overheating of the board maybe? correct me if i am wrong :) regards !
Thanks for the video awesome stuff as usual i love these ibridge too will be better when they bring out for the other models too :)
I am interested in repairing myself but don't know where to start, any suggestions? I have seen a lot of videos n people mostly swap a few things and don't do the micro sodering or are able to detect faults this complicated. I wish I was an American just for the sole purpose of learning from you.
Don't delay, buy today
wrong channell for that one ;)
Is that board holder pretty sturdy? Like when you're picking concrete epoxy, doesn't move all over the place? Have you gotten any of those iPhone 7 home buttons yet?
Have you done any iCloud unlock by changing the 6 chips or would you even try to do it on an iCloud locked iPhone
Just ordered the ibridge think it’ll be helpful.
Please kids,do not attempt to put your ibridge in your isocket without supervision.Jason is a professional and trained to do that.
I loved your acting
Men your comment's while repairing are so funny.
You so funny in video. But you are doing good work. Hi from iraq
😂😂 Sir I like your video intro
Can i do a fonze? horizontal thumbs ha ha :-D
That's a nice breakout connector :-D
I used to use a breakout box for testing the old printer ports, every connection was easy to connect to, similar but only 36 pins (Ye Olde Tech).
This is what we call a break out box in the avionics world. Perfect for checking the system dynamically. :)
Jason you're the Iphone Dentist ;) (loose tooth)
HAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA AN OTHER IPHONE WOW YOU ARE JUST AMAZING SIR..
Great video again mate! The days of soldering wires to pins for testing are gone!
sir if may i ask? whats your setup or setting on your hot air in removing those small parts?
@@bradyjackson2706 I am sorry. Correct if I am wrong.. all I see is links on where to buy...
cant see the hot air configuration of hot air...
Good work like Your video,s ...

Wow, Great vid
Great tool Jason, Thank you for the video bro :)
Good job man, again! You’re the boss! :)
Brilliant video!, how much did you charge for this job?
My iphone 10 dead after open .
I didn't do anything plz help.me what i do
what'sup with the intro dude? hehe
Hi Jason. What type of iBridge do you suggest me? I found them in two prices: around 16€ and 29€ on aliexpress. I'm seeking for a cheap & most complete kit, but is not clear to me which one I should buy. Keep in mind that in my lands the iPhone8 is still a "luxury" that very few people like to repair to an UNAUTHORIZED personnel like me. :-)
hi great videos.
how did you learn to repair the smartphone
?
4:57 - surely you mean “I can’t zoom IN any further” and not “I can’t zoom OUT any further”
QianLi IBridge FPC Test Cable

Your ball technique is pretty! You had that inductor pad perfect a couple times before you made that bridge. (I was saying STOP ALREADY!)
I would have fluxed the original inductor and added lead-free solder to both ends, cool it, and check for continuity. (Wasn't the problem caused by a cold joint and the drop caused the inductor to lift?) After verifying proper operation; I would have stress tested the board for other cold joints and called it fixed. (I know that your way is better.)
I was a servicer for RCA when the first lead-free boards were put into production. We had MANY cold solder joint problems and solder-whisker problems. We discovered that our old regular solder would work better if we cleaned off the lead-free stuff and use our regular solder to make clean and bright joints. We were supposed to use lead-free but we wanted happy customers and no reworks. RCA would not pay for reworks and doing it their way took all day.
We started just adding regular solder after the first dozen or so. We would also resolder several more possible cold solder joints. We informed the customer a free repair if they had any more problems. More than thirty-five years later I still have former customers call me to fix their flat screen TVs. RCA made our days!
I love your videos. hehehe
For some reason if I miss one of Jason's videos, I feel like I missed watching an original Star Trek episode. And you can't do that!
Saw a really neat trick over at Northridge, used the hot tweezers to hold a piece of solder wick. Basically used it like a reversed paintbrush to wick solder, gave a lot of control.
Great vid, do another rabbit hole video with FLIR cam
Nice intro! 😂
Please, about Samsung too, take off. I want to learn from you other brands ;.
);););)
Thanx good vedio
But bro r u repair Samsung phone

My iPad6 has no image when battery is at 100% charged but it does have image when battery is down to 75%
Great videos! Love what you are doing. How do I get ahold of you to do a repair?
Thanks for the great video. Weldone👍👍👍
hehehe im just laughing it is wrong the polarity of conductor but wow its great have display
I think you got it the other way around both dot markings on that inductors should be facing near each other
Hey Jason, love your video's but I am 100% positive you would have found that fault without your product advertisement for iBridge!! Enjoy your free iBridge Bro!! ;-)
Tq u sir 👍

hi, is it possible to put the camera upside down. same as your view.
I invented those breakouts
may i please ask why it is called chestnut ic?
Sub all
(lol) I was literally looking at the iBridge on the Union Repair website, only to switch tabs and see it demo-ed on RUclips.
Damn you made me buy itool ! LOL
Hi Jason, thank for always sharing so useful and interesting repair videos. I personally enjoy to do some DIY projects and recently i'm kind of struggling using a hot air solder gun. I would like to ask/know what are the recommended settings (temp and airflow) for solder and desolder inductors, caps and resistors safely (similar size of the ones used on moder cellphones) . I have been a very bad experience blowing away some tiny parts already :S
Keep it up man!
Sei un grande!!!!
0:00 sounds like the Batman 😆
I am having a hard time finding solder wick with a ultra fine microscopic wire. All the stuff I have found is too large for working with the phones I am soldering on. Any suggestions?
You are to good sir im your big fain of your
Is there an ibridge alternative for iphone 5S? i got my beloved iphone 5s booting with not image, some aftermarket screens show image with deeply fried colors.
Please can you activate your titles in your RUclips menu so that your subtitled video comes out? Thanks champion I really like your videos
hi jason just recently started to watch you videos have to say im learning alot already thanks :) question for you what solder are you using or are you just using soldering paste for your iron ? im struggling to find a good solder i have just started soldering and noticed my joints are not nice and shiny in fact there dull and look kind like orange skin effect ? im baffled ??

So should I send back those 3-4 phones that were having the same symptoms?
Hey, I’m not seeing any that were no-fixed due to no image. A handful for liquid damage tho? I don’t believe there are any that this would help us out on.
