Bare is one of my all-time favorite shows simply because it feels so real. As a Catholic, the message of finding God in other places outside of the church hits really hard. "A Quiet Night at Home" will forever be my sob song because I can relate so deeply to a girl who looks in the mirror and can't love the body she sees looking back.
This is so cool! There's not NEARLY enough analysis and discussion about Bare online so thank you so much for putting in all this effort! Also. It was great getting to hear about all those experiences from everyone.
I love Bare and hearing about Damon Intrabarlato made me sad but also happy because of how much the show seemed to mean to him and all the original cast members (loved the interviews btw)
rip damon❤️thank you for writing such a beautiful piece of theatre, Bare helped me finally come to terms with myself and come out to my family and I’m so so grateful.
I really wish they'd made a film version of this - just those opening moments in your video makes me wonder if it had ever been a concept! hearing the backstory was super interesting, although so had to hear about the creator. Thank-you so much for posting :)
This was amazing! I love the interviews, they made me both insanely happy and sad. They seemed so comfortable with you as well which is a true compliment. This musical means so much to me and I relate heavily to Jason so it's good to hear from John Griffin. Thanks for the video x
Man, thanks a lot for this video! I've always thought that this musical has the podtential to be a boom like Rent was, I have no idea why there wasn't morr productions in recent years, it's a wonderful musical with a really powerful message.
Bare was the Spring Awakening before there was a Spring Awakening. It deserves to be on Broadway. Preferably directed by Michael Arden
michael arden was actually peter in the original off-broadway production
@@jacobking5144 yeah I know. Hence another reason I wrote his name because he was Peter

Thank you for this! It's a great play and so fun to get the skinny from the actors directly.
That beginning part.... did you make this, or was that archive footage?
