1 day?!? HA! It's a Show, not a YT video lol It takes a couple weeks on the low end since we see Vecna in pretty much every episode from episode 2 onward. Every scene he's in probably took a day or 2 to shoot not involving stunts.

If it's a man, it's not unusual to make a hidden slit somewhere near the groin to he can pee. Computer editing or certain camera angles can fix that. I think Doug Jones said in an interview that he fasts the night before the fitting so his belly and bladder is as empty as possible.
In an interview I saw about the making of the costume they said they have a way to open it up in the groin area and let him use the bathroom during shooting.
