Pro tip, you can attach the garland to your railing without zip ties, by just using two of the branches and twisting it around the railing like a twist tie until it is secure. I just wanted to share!!
This is SO random but the perfect guy for Tara (IMO) is a pilot 😂 then she can still enjoy her days to herself while he’s on his trips and he can fly her around when she travels ☺️

Happy vlogmas!! I wouldn't even call it posting as "much as you can" bc I feel like internally, we automatically set ourselves up to feel like we didn't do enough when we say that. Just post as much as you want! Absolutely nothing wrong with that! Vlogmas is suppose to be a fun time & it's ok for it to just be fun, whatever that looks like!

Have you considered hanging the mirror horizontally to juxtapose the height and slender area of the room. Horizontal would make the room feel bigger in a wider sense rather than emphasize the already grand height of the space. Also the silver trees would look cute in the laundry room as there is no window down there so they would bring light to a rather dark space and brighten up those fun corners of the home during the holidays
Decor ideas: What about using a hook and fishing line from the ceiling to secure the wreath to your vent hood? That should prevent paint damage and if it is a small hook you won’t notice it on the ceiling. Also for those silver trees you do not love, what about testing plaster on them to cover the silver? It would go with your living room and office vibe.
Decor ideas✨I remove most of my “year round” decor to make room for my seasonal because it doesn’t ever seem to mesh well to me. I would also keep ornaments in vases or bowls as an easy cute decor piece. ❤

Tara, I know you probably hear this so often, but you are such a happy place for me! I get so excited every time you post, and know I will feel that sense of safeness and comfort. You are such a light in so many peoples lives, living your life and being your authentic self. Also, how could anyone be upset with some Christmas content?! No matter the form. I never comment, but felt the need to do so, because you have such a special place in my heart!
It helps to fill in between the legs of the tree with plastic bags ,tissue paper ,A throw blanket that you’re not going to use for a while ........it’ll make it puffier and not so meh ..........Kind of like a cloth puffy cloud / snow underneath your tree !
I think it’s actually cool that your Vlogmas is different! Instead of expecting a video every day…it will be like omg Tara posted! Love the vlogs!❤❤❤

for the wreath on your vent hood you could hang a common hook on the ceiling and then use fishing wire to hand the wreath from there!

For decor: the little bowl would be so cute with some pine cones in it!
add some Christmas ornaments around and inside a glass dish or vase since you may not be using them on the tree...pretty and adds sparkle

Love this first vlog for December!! In terms of your holiday decor, you had lots for your little apartment, but for your big house there's lots of little spots to make cute for the holidays. I'm totally here for it!! Holiday decorating is so satisfying to watch. ☺️

Yay for Vlogmas! 😊 I absolutely love the size of the new console mirror, it’s for sure the right size buuuut, I’m kinda missing the arched design on the other mirror. I am living vicariously through you, where I live the weather is basically the same year round - warm and sunny. It doesn't really feel like holiday season and it makes me not want to decorate because it just feels out of place.

You need a pop of natural red on your console. Flat bowl filled with fake (or real) cranberries, pomegranates.... something like that. You have a lot of green, beige and wood. Just one little pop. Love your style!

Command strip for hanging your wreath on the hood vent! When you go to take it off, pull the tab at the bottom slowly in a downward motion and it'll come off WITHOUT the paint coming off!

For the wreath on the hood vent, I can’t remember if it’s metal or wood underneath the paint but if it’s metal you can get a strong hook magnet! If it’s wood and we are worried about paint chipping idk man sorry 😂🤷🏻♀️
