Great game! i always find it interesting how many players dont build plasma deflectors in the backline, granted i understand why, but as a result we always see so many of the lolcannon shots hitting the backline lol
What's the reason that they don't pls? Is it because they take so much metal and energy to put up, so it slows eco to bother? Because I agree; so many replays where the backline catches a couple of strays and then pop goes the weasel.
@@Mr_Jombles Honestly it is probably simply that they forget, being in the backline you usually arent expecting to suddenly get pinged by artillery shots, usually have to worry more about teching and eco and helping the front liners. Many times the back liners will forget the plasma shield or even basic static defense
@@genHawkeye Thanks man, yeah that makes sense. I think I'm overcautious. In the same way I wonder why top players don't opt for the cloakable Armada fusion. It's an approximately equal outlay and output, even while cloaked. Why not hide the precious boom boy? There must be a good reason, I just don't know it yet tho. Intrigued as to why.
The ragnorock and calamity sure do force an end game scenario, if it survives you win, if they kill it you're likely history, if they let you rez it that was their mistake
Is there a way to stop the rez? I know in SupCom, it was possible for people to destroy something, then bomb it even more for it to vanish. Does this game have something like that?
Yep this game has the exact same mechanic! I think the amount of damage to reduce it to rubble is based on the structures metal cost though so lol cannons are especially difficult to break down
An enemy once completed their Calamity, right at the very moment my three Juggernaughts arrived on it. Poor gun never got a chance to shoot. The map was so big however, that I actually had time to resurrect it for myself, and instead used it to finish off the last players. xD Was quite a fun finish.
Good game actually. It was interesting to see Juno in action, I'd never seen how it works before. This being constantly thrown from the both sides to get tactical advantage along with the spybots EMPs is the next level
Woah that's a crazy good idea!! I mean that could really be an interesting gimmick. Like a unit you can detonate to get control of other units for a time similar to emp from spybots. You should bring that up on the official discord that's a cool concept!
The commander has the capture ability, as does the decoy version. It allows you to take ownership of enemy and neutral buildings/units. You rarely see it used though
Its also worth noting that capture is the only commander/decoy ability that doesn't break cloak while using it, so you can just cloak and capture whatever you want assuming no radar detects your commander/decoy.
The speed at which the rag was picked back up had to have been frustrating. It is curious to me that the battle lines on the flats just stood there for a really long time.
This did not feel like a "pro" level game at all. What exactly was the endgame here? At least the red team stalled until that game ending artillery, but the blue team just stood there and stalled without any strategy.
@@rekrn12345 That's not true, many games just end when a flank collapses. If one side invests so much into the canon, then their army should definitely be weaker and more vulnerable.
@@Leonhart_93 A game ending early because a side falls apart isn't the "Endgame". That is the end of the game. There is a difference. "endgame" specifically refers to the late game 25 minutes+ where a simple push isn't going to win the game unless somebody royally screwed up.
notice that at 42:27 the crashing bombers dont take out the metalmakers, the ally titan missile misses and hits it instead!
Ohh that hurts so much more! Xd
It always surprises me that NOBODY BUILDS ANTI AIR. air almost always wins the game no matter the skill level involved
Both teams have loads of fighters, but I get what you mean. Fighters counter Fighters, but not ground based AA.
If you build a flak cannon it takes 10 extra seconds to get your 5th AFUS up and that's just not a good trade /s
I've seen air win BAR games because players refuse to build AA too many times to count

They only protect from very specific things and if it gets to that point you already lost

The sheer amount of different tactics used in this match is absolutely insane
Loving the casts bro, good luck to ya
Thanks a ton mate, that means a lot to me :)
Good game actually. It was interesting to see Juno in action, I'd never seen how it works before. This being constantly thrown from the both sides to get tactical advantage along with the spybots EMPs is the next level
It also has full map range, insane potential if you know where to hit.
Wow, I don't know if I've ever seen a game change so quickly
Those vanguards were wasted by the lack of lightning units, had there been some, they would have shredded the front
This game has air, ground and sea units. But, for such an advanced tech-level, I wonder why there are no cyberwarfare units. Like hacking enemy units.

I guess because hacking goes klackedy-klack and lazors and guns go pew-pew and boom, and sometimes zap.

@@BrightWorksTV Yeah, I will do that. Thought about "take controll" too. What a shock if your units in the back turn on you. :D

Nice game. Funny I played with Dunaa a couple of times. I didn't do bad in those games. Just started 2 weeks ago paying in the evenings. Great game.
Havent seen this game before. The windmills seem ridiculous to me.
Rezbots MVP as usual
"truly high level players" => yet no one is above 35 lol
That flying around camera was nauseating, entertaining game though
nice one !
Hi RUclips! 🙋
Welcome to the BrightWorks:D
@@BrightWorksTV i love your casts!
FAF more interesting then that!
hahaha the classic vs the new hotness but I prefer the BAR control scheme :)

I guess everyone just felt like playing with he big toys this round XD
The "endgame' is almost always who gets the lul cannon up first. Not usually possible to just push and win
