Pretty funny until you realize ruud consistently hits winners off his forehand side. I think in the atp fastest shots 2021 ruud's forehand is in there a couple times. I'm sure we'll see it in 2022's edition as well. May not be the fastest but consistently faster than the other guy lol
@@bsrussianThree slam finals with no slam win doesn't get remembered any more than the other guy. Ask the average person which tennis player is more recognizable and entertaining and it is not Ruud. Sports for us fans is ultimately about entertainment. Gael entertains. The trophies are for the players, not for us. Gael made millions, made top 10, and takes the boring out of tennis. Most others are too stiff, too serious, yet still haven't won a slam.
Do you have any other angle of Ruud's forehand? I try to learn from his forehand and this video has helped me a lot and a different angle would help even more Thanks 😉
when friends ask me why I love tennis, the sound of the ball, seeing the flight of the ball is just amazing.
Facts i agreee
Feeling of ball touching sweet spot is addictive af..

Ahahah !!🤣Agree ! It's totally ASMR experience ! Can watch and hear that all day !
Both of these guys are absolutely crushing the ball and it's only a practice session.
I like the camera height/lens/position here...perfect! THX
One of these guys recently hit a 124 mph forehand, one of the hardest struck groundstrokes in recorded history. And the other guy is Casper Ruud.
This would have been an interesting comment if it was the other way around. It's obvious that Monfils is a freak of an athlete.

the sound is sooooo clean
Monfils playing a great tennis since a few months. Switching in Artengo 18x20 was a good choice
He didn't just switch. His contract ended. However he also didn't switch to 18 20. His older racket the Wilson Ultra Pro stock racket was also 18 20.

is that zverev on the side court? i can hear his grunt
Very clean hitting. Monfils…maybe a grand slam?

Monfils should really be more aggressive in forehand!
