he needs to adapt his game to hardcourts though he hits just as hard as Sinner but is much less effective seems like the problems are the depth and height of his shots and shot selection (angle and position)
@@lotus630 His forehand as good as Sinner's if not but his backhand isn't and I think it is easier to compensate for that on gravel by going around the backhand because you have a little extra time.
@@tijgertjekonijnwordopgegeten I also feel like he has a tendency to lift his shots when he's pressured becomes an easier target to attack whereas Sinner will just duke it out with more aggression
@@lotus630 yeah, Ruuds shots defo have a tendency to become loopy and attackable when he gets tight, something to work on in the future. Still very pleasing and technically sound strokes to watch when he’s on, especially from court level. Backhand looks good technically here, but still clearly is his biggest weakness in matches, don’t know what exactly he does wrong there as the fundamentals seem to be pretty good, although he does put a ridiculous amount of topspin on that shot…
Both amazing player !!😍 Different style here... Sinner hit a little bit more flat, and Ruud has bouncing ball (cause of the topspin). Ruud forehand is so clean and efficient, and the footwork is nice, a little of Federer here! Sinner backhand is perfect !
@@teddymikefunk he had an ankle and an abdominal injury to start the year, barely got to play and also constantly changed surface, went from Australian hard courts to South American clay, then super fast indoor hard court during Davis Cup and now American hc at IW which is pretty unique too, hardly any chance to get any rhythm in between travel, recovering from injury and adapting to new surfaces
@@anustart-loveeachother7680 I said that because I really like this player and I am following his carreer. Hope the best for him and i support him 200% in each tournaments
It's not his grip, it's the breaking and extention of his elbow when he is hitting the ball which results in that elastic like follow through , why his forehand is more dangerous than any other player rn for me and can potentially dominate the mens tour is because on the contact point he is not just hitting but also pushing the ball which is giving him more control ,power, angle. More like djokovic l, but his is more flexible and fluid you can say.
@@asharalikhan942 Sinner should work on that end of the FH, to make him more soft on his arm. He get his elbow injured, hope it's not something that became chronic ! Ruud forehand is actually one of the best on tour (on clay it's the best). He gas the more mph and rph. But those 2 players are really delightfull to watch, they have different style but I love them both... and they are such nice guys on and out court !

Casper’s backhand does not have a complete follow through.
I’m one of the spectators on the left! Such clean hitting from both of them - could watch them for hours 🔥🔥
Sinner is amazing i absolutely admire him
Ruud's forehand is so damn beautiful
Two of my favorite players because of their mentality and game.
Great footage of two of my favorite players! Thank you
just a casual court level video of 2 top 10 players. amazing vids mate
Jannik sinner looks incredible

The best Casper Ruud footage (at court level view) on YT. Thank you for that.
Still got some more footage of Ruud to upload as well.
:)@@12kgpTennis
two of the hardest hitters in ATP currently by speed and topspin of groundstrokes
guess they're going really easy in the practice
Not all of the time, though.
I can notice Casper Ruud is not playing at his best level on this session, and since the beginning of the year
@@teddymikefunk he won a title against Schwartzman a few weeks ago plus he’s been injured for a lot of the year so far

jannik consistently hitting the balls deep with high net clearance is insane..not to mention how effortless he looks when he hits
Thanks for uploading - I'm currently off tennis with an injury and this makes me even more amped to get back on court. Legend.
Two of my fav players right now. Thanks for the awesome vid 👌👌
thank you for the beautiful footage brother
Great video! Nice hitting from both players.
Casper is beautiful.
Jannik _ ruud Very amazing practice. !
lol my two fav players playing :)
Sinner hitting like the next Djokovic, and Ruud like a reincarnation of Juan Mónaco
Ruuds fh way better than monacos though and better technique on that wing. Stylewise a bit similar indeed
Great comparison
Sinner's backhand is so much better than Ruud's
Bravissimi ragazzi
Bravo ricorda che sei l eccellenza del tennis vai tranquillo puoi battere tutti
Holy shi...
Can anyone explain to my how Sinner’s follow through does the thing with his wrist once his arm is across his body? Is it his grip?

Sinner needs Lendl coaching
Who is casper rudd?
