Im so glad i watched this before just picking up Atlas Complex because i felt the same about the second and havent been sure whether to pick up the new one
Yes I’d really say don’t bother if you didn’t like the Atlas Paradox, because it’s similar to that, but worse in my opinion!
Just don’t pick it up. I just finished the book an hour ago and I’m utterly disappointed and absolutely fuming
so good. i will read encyclopaedia of fairies soon thanks to your recommendation 🎉
Yay, I hope you love it!!🥰
Oh I know what you mean about Olivie Blake's writing. That's how I felt about the Atlas Paradox and it took me 5 weeks to read 😅 So now I'm waiting for someone to do a spoiler or summary video of the Atlax Complex!
Thats such a good idea, don't bother reading it imo! Just watch a spoiler summary!
What a great book vlog! I could watch you forever. Tazmyn is adorable too
Thank you!!🥰🥰💚💚
Love the longer vlogs! More lydloves for 2024 ❤
Yay! Thank you! I’m so glad you like it, thanks for watching!💚
Yes yes yes, completely agree with how you felt about the Atlas Complex!! Also loved this style of vlog 🥰🥰
Yay! Thank you! And so glad you agree with me, sooo disappointing!
I would really recommend „alone with you in the ether“ by Olivie Blake. I feel like that’s exactly the book of hers that fits the writing style that you look for the best 🥰
It’s about 2 people and them like falling in and out of love. It’s really good. I really like it
ooh thank you, this was going to be my next attempt for her books, as I've heard really good things, so I will check it out!
I just finished Atlas Complex and it was even worse than the second book. I liked the first book, second was okay, the third book is just awful. I just wanted it to get to a point and end. 😂
You are so correct that nothing in the Atlas Complex made sense! Nothing was resolved, it was just so messy and bad. I also only cared about Gideon!
I feel the exact same way!! Only Gideon stayed endearing, the rest of the character were just awful and I didn’t care at all by the end! Such a disappointing book!
delightful 🥰
Thank you!!🥰
I just finished Atlas Complex yesterday and I've been just sitting here staring into the void... like whyyyyy. I said the exactly the same thing in my GR review - if the strength of the book, especially the first one, is about interpersonal relationships of the characters then WHY keep them apart for the whole book. I was bored and confused for the most of it. Such good character writing and plot is just... something on the background. I mean that's what the two other books were like so I don't know why I expected something else from this book.
I completely agree 😭 It was such a mess in the end, sooo disappointing!!
FINALLY WATCHING AHHHH 🥰🥰🥰🥰
the confidence you have talking in public is so admirable 😭
I LOVE YOUR EDITING STYLE
Hahaha yayyy!! I'm so obnoxious in public, that helps with vlogging hahaha. & Thank you angel!!
“we were incorrect about the incest plot line” 😂😂😂😂😂
no i disagree!! confident, not obnoxious at all ❤️❤️❤️
It took me 2 years to read the wheel of time and now I'm re-reading it and loving it even more! I'm reading it way faster now too (partially because my kids are a little older and play with each other more than me now haha).
And today is the 10th and I started the atlas complex this morning and thought....oh this is why I never read series until they're finished....I have NO IDEA WHAT IS HAPPENING because it's been so long and I didn't want to re read. I definitely prefer a finished series before I pick it up.
I actually don't like the atlas six or complex BUT with books and tv shows I just have a thing that I have to finish what I started 😂 hopefully it's better. I had such high expectations of a secret society about the library of Alexandria and it didn't meet my expectations. I think that's why I haven't enjoyed it.
I think I've been reading it for about 3 years so far, but took a huge long break after I got to 'the slog' haha, but i'm glad to be back in it now! I know exactly what you mean about wanting to finish everything, I always want to know how it ends too! Are you still reading the Atlas Complex? Are you enjoying it, or is it disappointing?
More vlogs please
Coming up!!🥰💚
This video is my sign to give up on 'The Atlas Paradox', I'm struggling to read this one for the last 7 days :)) 'The Atlas Six' was really good and I've read it in November, so prrety recently, but the second book is horrendous :(
It’s such a shame isn’t it!! I loved the atlas six too, but it just really drops off after that one! I’d say don’t bother if you’re not enjoyed the atlas paradox!💚
I didn’t like it either!!! We need justice for the atlas six. The whole time I was waiting for something to happen it just didn’t. Anti climatic
Anti-climactic is the word - nothing meant anything in the end, and it was soo frustrating to read!!
Congratulations 🥰😇
Thank you!!💚
Hi, great video. What was the name of that bookshop you went to please x
It was Waterstones Piccadilly! And thank you!💚
I loved paradox but I have to admit complex was unsatisfying in every way.
Completely agree, such an unsatisfying end to the series!
What’s your favorite book that’s name has the word city in it
Hahaha what a fun question. I think it would be City of Thieves by David Benioff!
