2 month old comment but the thing is I believe the xp50 has turbochargers which break if you use MEC so my advice is use auto engine control and keep throttle at 90-97% to keep from overheating with using 100 as your WEP. maybe then the turbos work????? otherwise it feels like a brick using MEC. If not using MEC then make sure you use flaps and turn fight 109s and 190s as they cant outturn you.
You really should try the P-40F-10. Currently one of my favorite planes, tied with F6F-5 for CAS. It's (as far as I know) a full-on upgrade to the P-40E in every way.

Good stuff! I've never been much good with the P40, even after the FM update and I'm not too sure why. I think that the playstyle of it just doesn't really match with what I try to make it do. Say, as a suggestion, would you mind doing something involving the Me 163? It's one of my personal favorite aircraft due to how unorthodox the playstyle is compared to other jets at the tier, and it's certainly something one has to get used to!
Personally, I prefer the 163 due to the higher durability and fuel load as well as superior engine, but I can understand your standpoint as the Ki-200 is lighter and has less dropoff on the guns.
Honestly, 50cals can make a onster out of almost everything...I usually play germans, but also americans...And i just feel way more confident using 50 cals.
Could you tell me what game settings, screen resolution and anisotropic filtering you used in this battle? I find that with a lower resolution it is much easier to hit an opponent but it also depends on the monitor you are using.

400m (description). Lol there isn't an advantage doing it like this, but rolling a bit allows you to rapidly pitch away from the head on at an angle that is harder for the enemy to follow.
How did you "cancer roll" like that? The instructor only lets me roll in the opposite direction as the yaw keyboard inputs while applying positive elevator.
That's not the flutter speed, it's just that the airspeed force on the control surfaces is too high for the pilot to adequately move the control surface.

Adam514 it's the P-47's best defensive maneuver: 180 turn, shoot in face, profit. It's also part of the reason axis teams do so poorly, they willingly engage in headons with P-47's and P-51's

Lol I try my best! Yup it's 100% legal, Gaijin even made a video on it on youtube (mostly to use the map that comes with it). It's called the "local host". How to access the "local host": You need to be running War Thunder or it won't work! Option 1: on the same computer that is running WT: -Type localhost:8111/ in the address bar and press enter and voila. Option 2 (which also works on the computer that runs WT): -Type Your_IP_Address:8111/ where you replace "Your_IP_Address" by your IP Address (192.168.X.XXX) in the address bar and press enter and voila, you can look at the characteristics on another device while flying.
I know it is kinda late. But why did you do those weird rolls and maneuvers at the end? I am sure you could have stayed in the air and not get yourself killed before the tickets ran out. Maybe you don't care about it but I wouldn't give my opponent the kill like that after they are already dealt with.

You shouldn't head on with German aircraft in general. Ta152C might be an exception because the mk103 30mm is quite fast and it surprises people.

I like the Ki200 a lot and I have a video on it. Personally I think the Ki200 is superior to the Me163.

Hmm I'd be surprised if durability were different. The guns are the biggest difference for me, hitting 9.0s with 2 Mk108s isn't easy.

Nope, the most maneuverable is the E. Earlier versions of aircraft are often lighter and hence turn better (with the same wing).

G56 is superior, it might be the best Axis 5.3. I have the impression that the G14/AS is a better deal for the BR than the German 109s.

You mean radiator %/opening? You need to bind a key to enable Manual Engine Control (MEC), and then bind keys for the radiators.
