The fact the Sun Wukong outfit actually lets you summon Ruyi Jingu Bang in one of the combos is just icing on the cake. They could have left it at just an outfit, but now, they went a step up for it

Triads dont care about him being a cop, cops dont care about him being a gangster. There are good films about undercover jobs, most of the good ones are subverting expectations where cop becomes a villain in the end. The game didn't even give you a choice. You are a good cop, the end.

Sleeping Dogs felt like it was made by a group of talented people who cared greatly about what they were making. I have the feeling that any sequel would have fallen flat on its face. Honestly, it was one of those stars aligned to make something greater than what anyone thought or expected kind of games. So a Witcher 3.
Love this game. Played through it with my dad a few years ago. One thing I loved was how weirdly realistic the damage is. You are super weak to bullets and blades, but so are your enemies.
i love how when the game progresses new enemy types show up and u need to dealt with them but the game highlights these enviromental kills to help you one shot the enemy to even the odds some are even hillarious like the swordfish impalement also the pick up the fish and slap your enemies to death at the karaoke club

Somehow I knew kev was that guy. Where if a game has a tutorial that won’t progress unless you do what it tells you, he’ll get stuck even though it’s telling you what to do 😂
It happens a lot more frequently when streaming/playing for an audience than when playing on ones own. When you're focused on making commentary and being entertaining it gets very easy to miss the obvious. He also seemingly forgot all the combinations to do his fighting moves for most of the playthrough and just did the basic combo and grapple over and over. It's kind of a byproduct of streaming.

This game is such an awesome game. I picked it up for 5 bucks in November and finished it in December and I enjoyed every second of it. The main story was phenomenal, the open world was awesome, the combat was insanely cool, the DLC's were amazing, even the side quests were fun to play and weren't ever repetitive. If you have never played I highly recommend you too try it out, you will most definitely love it.

Sleeping Dogs is the underground sleeper that NEEDS a sequel or reboot or something. Not just a Remaster. It holds up really well, and I'd rather go back and play this any day than reinstall GTAV for the sixteenth time to play 5 minutes of.
If you get free time to actually play the whole game, you totally should. I bought five copies of it for friends when it was on sale for two bucks once. It's easily in my top 3 favorites.
i vividly remember playing this a helluva lot when it went free with xbox live gold on the xbox 360, but i don't remember much aside from killing someone by throwing him into a chum machine and using a motorcycle called the Penultimate Crotchrocket to wheelie at max speed on a highway and go flying. and... i think there was some quest where you had to sneak into an estate with a fat guy he starts talking about getting a ball massage? i have no idea.

This kind of melee/martial arts focused combat system is honestly what would've made Watch Dogs Legion make a lot more sense. That everyone twit and their nan had guns in Britain was so stupid...
Best thing in this game is having the Bruce Lee yellow outfit, going to a karaoke spot, beating up everyone there and proceed to sing Take on Me by A-Ha and failing every single note while surrounded by unconscious bodies.
I still play the heck out of this, and love to mod it. I wish there were better tools for modding the game, but I can still do some crazy stuff. I work on clothing, cars, and I even found a way to get any weapon from missions in the open world.
It's been years since I played this game and it is fun since it had a lot of npc to messed with. This is so underrated though cuz even my friends didn't know this game.

Gunplay is extremely bad and the bloom effect make it almost impossible to shoot someone from medium-long range. Every side missions (except the police ones) are just a copy paste of a handful of missions over and over again, ubisoft get's trashed for the same shit but this game doesn't. The 1st dlc was enjoyable because the enemy design was pretty cool and you get to play with a sword but the 2nd dlc introduced literally nothing new.
I'm so glad I decided to play this because I was bored playing gta and wanted something new and long and behold I saw this and was tempted to play it and it's not just a gta clone in my opinion it's something more than that you can do more with the world and part tack in different activities
