Hi! I just came upon your channel in my feed today. I enjoy your videos! I'm 52 and I use the Nyx glitter glue all the time. It's inexpensive and works wonderful. I apply my matte colors first and then apply just a touch (it doesn't take much) of the glitter glue. It holds any shimmer shadow well and makes them pop! 🙂

Maggie, what type of reaction do you get from Castor Oil? This is so serendipitous bc I recently stumbled upon a video a few weeks back titled Proof of God, The Miracles of Castor Oil & then went down a rabbit hole of castor oil videos. Decided I needed a miracle 😂 so I got the #1 seller on Amazon and started going hog wild with it LOL. Anyway, just yesterday, I got a stye in 1 of my eyes for the 1st time in my whole life. Wondering if it was a reaction from the oil. PS that copper shadow is the perfect color for those blue eyes of yours.👍🏼
Thank you so commenting. My main reaction is a scratchy feeling in my throat. That makes me feel like I need to clear my throat. secondary to that is a stronger reaction where my throat and tongue feel a little numb and I kind of feel itchy all over my skin, but no hard-core rash. my entire life, I’ve hated the taste of most bullet lipsticks and then I used blue lizard sunscreen, one day, and I had a extremely strong reaction all over my body and the catch in my throat. I realize the second ingredient in one of their sunscreens is castor oil. Then I remembered that I had a adverse reaction to wet and wild, big papa mascara, which made my lashes look fabulous by the way, but I read that it had castor oil. so I put two and two together and now I realized, with some testing on my own, that I have an adverse reaction to castor oil. I hope this helps. Sorry for the bad grammar. I’m using the microphone on my phone instead of typing this.
Hi Maggie, so sorry but I early didn’t like the skin colours or textures at all - and that Lychee is really orange. The eyeshadow on your mobile lid, however, is gorgeous and really made your eye colour pop. Maybe use a cooler transition with it and pare down the face coverage to a more sheer neutral tint or BB with a very light dusting of a cooler bronzer and neutral gloss? I’m also 59 and don’t wear glitter, but do indulge in a shimmer now and again. I have heard using a glitter with a wet brush helps application - water or a spritz of setting spray.

Are you allergic to Castor Oil in lip products? I’m allergic to avocado and almond, so I have to be careful of lip oils and stains as they can contain these oils.
Yes, I am allergic to caster oil- ironically it is one of the TOP ingredients for lip products- especially in all natural, clean beauty brands . Go figure!!
