Just got the biggest giggle out of the vision of this old lady (me) running amok on a mower whose brakes have gone out, and being in a police chase and trying to explain to the judge that I tried to do my own brakes. Hee Hee Hee.
Hahaha. I just had that mental image of you as I read this comment. Thanks for the morning laugh. My neighbor is 80 and he asked me to look at his mower carburetor. I started driving it and it wouldn’t stop. I said dude you don’t have any brakes. He said that’s why he cuts the grass so slow. He keeps it in first gear so it won’t get away from him. 😂 poor fella. I fixed his brakes for him and you would just have to see how happy he was. He still tells me thanks. 👍😁

Good video ,no annoying music ,no life story ,just straight to the point.well done sir!!!
I appreciate you and your positive feedback. 😁👍
I second what barnabyjones said. Thank you much for a video that gets straight to the point with no BS!!
Exactly the visual information that I was looking for! It took me about 3 months to realize they're called brake pucks, not pads.
Great video. Good, useful info, and you didn't spend 45 minutes providing it, like another video did.
👍😁 thank you.
Thank you for this video. Right to the point. Thanks again.
Thank you, excellent video 👍 and you didn't bust a nickel.
Thanks this was sooo simple but I just hadn’t done it before…thanks again for the help
Not a problem at all.. Glad it helped ya.

I also did several other things new belts tension springs for the drive belt…so helpful knowing that if I did mess something up I have a place to correct my inabilities. Learned a lot and it made me feel comfortable doing other things…thanks again
Where is part numbers
Thank you so much! I have been looking for these brake pads for so long, but the ones that keep popping up were too small. I used your link and there they were, the exact size I was looking for. I only bought the bigger ones though since the crevice was that size. Don't know why the inner one is smaller.
Awesome. Glad you found what you were looking for. 😁👍
Very quick and helpful video rite to the point no bs thankyou
Thanks for making the time to do this. I have a Toro and the owners manual does not mention two pads, but there is indeed one behind the rotor at the bottom. Thanks to your video and others’s, I see that two pads is the norm.
Regarding the pad that goes behind the rotor, it looks like the recessed area is big enough to take the bigger pad, but you put the shorter one in. I would think it might slide a little back-and-forth when the brakes are pressed and released. Not that that would hurt anything. I have not taken mine out yet, The inner one.
Good instructions. Thanks
Thanks for sharing this video with us.
My pleasure. I appreciate you for watching 👍😁
In a pinch. You can take a metal hose clamp, and make spacers to fit behind the brake pads. Sand the old brake pad smooth. Where it came in contact with the brake drum. Then you can make the brake pads last longer. I grease the axel. So the wheel want get stuck on the axel.
👍😁 great tips. Thanks brother
E Clip or snap rings on axle to remove to slide wheel off, key-way key to hold wheel on axle still so it drives.
Perfect.. thanks
Thank you
Shoot yeah! Thank you
Thanks
Nice
I need this assembly but can't find it anywhere
Put antizee on bolts please 😊
Only 1 tire brake ?
brake slows trans , trans slows both tires .
I have 42” craftsman deck ( uses a cable to engage blades) this deck has a lot of springs and I need to know where each one goes Thanks in advance
My pins are frozen solid and I am having a hard time taking the rotor off
Use some wd40 or something else , than soke em in kerosene or paint thiner , clean em up and replace the brake pads.. adjust the brake rod if needed....😊
Magnific
I have brakes again after 2 years without.
Breaks only slow me down.
Puck yeah : ) :::
