All of these WVU uniforms are sick. I especially love the alternate blacks.
Just glad we got rid of the awful gray color. Could have picked a different shade of gray and maybe been better. But love the updated uniforms

I love all the WVU uniforms. The blacked out uniforms to honor the coal mining history of WV are badass! I hope they unveil them against Penn St first game of the year.

If I had one thing I could take off the new main uniforms is West Virginia and Mountaineers over the numbers. Believe it would look better without it.

They may have been trying to stay away from looking too much like USC, but I could be wrong. I still like the Cardinal top, jersey and gold pants for ISU, and I’m a WVU fan.
No doubt, ISU unis have had a poor SC look as of late. Dig the WV black threads. Hope they dump the crappy fonts ASAP. Never cared for the stripes or pipes on jerseys. Hopefully OU never adds stripes/pipes to their traditional jerseys.
The stripes on WV jerseys are a ode to the safety reflective stripes miners have to wear
West Virginia nailed their unis. The black actually makes sense again given the coal mining heritage. 10/10.
Schools wearing black alternates just for the F of it with no logical connection annoys me. Why the Hell is Iowa St. wearing black? They look like TCU when they wear those.
Because ISU's head coach who everyone says is too good for ISU and is definitely leaving for 9 straight years likes it. It's his favorite color to wear and the players love it too. Whatever Matt C wants, Matty C is gonna get.

Yes the did. My hometown was built as a coal mining town lol. We have a coal minors day celebration every summer.
