- This week we visit one of the breweries we picked as ones to watch in 2021! We have loved every Beak Brewery beer we've had so far, but nothing prepared us for how special this place is becoming. A wonderful taproom, some incredible new beers, a fresh approach and even a trip to their own barley fields. This was one of the best brewery tours we've ever had.

Remember to drink responsibly(ish) and not be that guy... Хобби
Got to be honest Beak Brewery have a really good reputation and as we all know we are judged on everything we do, just reviewed their imperial stout and it truely was amazing, keep up the great work guys, bringing beer and reviewing into the mainstream via accessible beer channels is what its all about.
It's a beer that looks very delicious! The bubbles are beautiful! In Japan, where I live, restaurants are closed, so I can only drink at home. Your video made me happy. Thank you for giving me a nice time🤗💕
That smile Jonny gets when he smells the mixed-ferm saison is what every brewer should strive for.
Since I randomly bought a can of Lulla a year ago I've been saying Beak are really going places.
I could watch another hour of this. Love hearing all the different projects and flavour descriptions 👌
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it
My favourite brewery, their beers are always top notch, notably moose.
Beak Parade is one of my favourite beers. All of their hazy ipa’s are so good.
Great to see you guys out and about again 🍻
Can't tell you how good it is to be out and traveling again. Lots more of this to come.
You beat me to it, you took the words right out of my mouth!
Been my go to brewery for the last few months after trying a can from little Leeds beer house. Always great fresh tasting ipas
Excellent informative video, thanks!
I was at Beak last Saturday, and will be there this Saturday. A pint of Harveys Best in The Gardeners Arms, and then down to Beak for their excellent beers - the perfect beer day.
I'm embarrassed to say that I've yet to try any beer from Beak. Watching this video has made me realise just what I've missed out on.
This was just the confirmation bias I was looking for to encourage me to spend more money expanding my homebrewing setup into a nanobrewery.
Amen to that! Who knows where it can lead.
I'd really like to have a go at their mixed ferm. And gotta love they aren't even sure about in what direction it's going with elderflowers, fruit or just as it is. To boldly go where no(t many) britons has gone before.
When did Orlando Blooms not so good looking little brother become a brewer? 😂 The CBC always seem to bring out that "red thread" that runs through all different breweries and brewers all over the world, and make it entertaining, which is a talent. Well done gents.
My perfect night would be beers with Simon followed by a takeaway with Danny & his fold up table!!!
Just opened a can of Beak strangers just getting over covid and I can say my taste is definitely back .what a fantastic beer 👍🍺
Immensely refreshing to hear about the approach from Robin when it comes to Hazy IPA. There's no reaosn to remove bitterness from IPA as many have done. The hazy style was intended originally, to add body - not remove bitterness. I feel it's transitioned that way to allow for people who aren't IPA heads to enjoy the beer but for me at least, I want some bitterness in Hazy IPA - it rounds out the experience.
Beak Imperial Stout? Will Look for This Bear 😯🤔😁
I absolutely love elderflower so looking forward to a lot of those experimental ideas they have.
love these documentary style videos here!
great video guys ahh man this on my list! be nice to go on a nice hike and then end up at beak at the end for some cold ones im sure there is some lovely routes round that way
Guys, watching this great video while drinking an amazing ipa from steuben brewing out of cazenovia, ny. All local New York hops and malt. Looks very similar to what you’re drinking. You need to do a western New York brewery tour. Of course I would graciously volunteer to host. 🍻👍🏻
Would love to once travel gets a little safer/more streamline!
This video makes me so keen to visit the UK again one day! Maybe we could barrel age that Imperial Stout until then.
Amazing, it’s incredible to see the pace and depth of development for such a small brewery. I can see why you shortlisted them.
Glad you agree! So young yet so many ideas and such potential.
Obrigado Portugal... Muito bom.
Super💯👍
H Blanc is a daughter of cascade soooo not cascade in Germany. Think its more Nelson in Germany but from my experience Blanc is super grape. Also Cryo seems to be the buzz atm. Johnny maybe a cryo home brew video required ;) Cracking video lads
You are right - though I do thing it has more of the earth/tea thing of cascade than Nelson does. We have some cryo related talk coming soon, promise!
Up the beak
Great video. Curious to know if you are ever going to offer your CBC Beer Glasses on your merch website?
Ach we hope so but the minimum order is so huge. One day. One day soon.
Good video. Im pretty sure hobbits drive yaris cars
I guess I need to get my arse across the pond ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ thanks for a great video! I need to drink with you guys!
I will have too pop down..... Only 30 mins away from them
how do they manage to get such good head retention on the i.p.a.? Addition of Carapils or a slightly higher carbonation, looks awesome, cheers for the video
Like all brewing answers it will be a bit of everything! Certain water chem additions, oats/wheats/carapils in the mash, good brewing technique, correct carb, carefully packaged
Go careful with fresh elderflower, you can quickly overdo it.
I think grains are coming to the fore in craft beer next, rather than hops. Which might bring in more german styles. My prediction: big explosion in all the amazing german beer styles globally over the next decade.
Fingers crossed!
Please tell me you went back and finished those beers you left on the bar..
Haha of course!
@@TheCraftBeerChannel good lads 🍻
Come on...that road wasn't that bad. Typical side dirt road here in Canada. Better than the National highway in parts!
The road mighta been ok... but the Yaris was the issue.
@@TheCraftBeerChannel Blah, that's a 70km/hr drive with a Yaris, 85 if you are daring. Just pretend it is a rally stage!!

Oops 😬? Beer 🍺🍻. Not Bear 🐻 LoL 😭😆😆🤣
every one of your videos makes me thirsty
Great channel! Keep up the good work! Thanks for sharing!
Yeah that's right I do food reviews while on the toilet.
My brother does his foody fashion show on my channel also.
He wears songs now.
the word "like" does appear rather a lot like too much - I had a good mix of cans during lockdown and i did like them
I was about to post a similar comment. It is my pet HATE. Much as I respect the brewers and what they are doing, this needless punctuation of speech becomes an impediment and makes me struggle to get through the video. I thought it stopped at teens. Evidently not.
whats up guys why havent you read my page come on bro im been thumbs up with you bro?
Interesting video which would have been doubly enjoyable had Danny not felt the need to needlessly utter the word "like" at least twice every time he opened his mouth ... irritating or what!
