I'm really liking Mercurial Heart and the Re:Collection decks. Went a bit nuts and ended up buying 8 booster boxes (not cases, I'm not rich 😕). So many fun cards in the set.
It's quite niche in the UK so we have no issues with stock and prices for like Mercurial Heart are like £51 which i think it's like $65 dollars. Which is great for me :). Only problem is the singles market here. Not many companies are cracking them open and selling then. Relying on Discord for now which has been pretty good. Great content as usual Mark. This is good news that they are selling well. Hope to see you at Ascend Europe (where that will be) if you're there.
Sadly, the publisher’s response to the Fractured Crown drama has had a negative effect; now everything is completely out of reach to the average player base. Staples are all $20+ per card, boxes going above MSRP, etc. GA is now a collectors/speculator game and not a players game. That’s well and fine, but not ideal to grow the player base.
How did the publisher’s response to FTC negatively affect things? I agree that staples being so expensive is detrimental to the game, but it’s really only Dungeon Guides and GCRs that players need. And in comparison to other games like yugioh or Magic, GA is suuuuper cheap to build competitive decks for. Something like Erupting doesn’t even need the expensive staples, and it’s still a top tier deck. Hopefully the new Re:Collection decks (which are amazing out of the box), can help bring in new players ^^
What staple exactly out of dungeon guide? Gildas is a 1/3 that gets checked by frostsworn that’s 5 bucks and now with slimes being viable and available from a 50 dollar deck I don’t really see that. Yeah you can say oh but Carter, Academy Guide, … I don’t really know any other and those cards are super niche and to my understanding didn’t see any play in Worlds. 20 for a staple also tends to be fairly normal, magic you have a mana base that cost more than deck, lands and GOOD lands at 10-20 and some even ranging higher. I do think collectors should probably slow down a bit ordering 30 cases just smoking out anyone who wants to enter maybe buy a box or two to try the game, but lets see where this goes.
I think the opposite. The sentiment I get speaking with some of the biggest whales of this game is that they don't think GA is really worth it for the collectors right now. The growth of the playerbase is pretty good so far, but GA actually had a goal of 50/50 split between players and collectors, and the players are winning right now by far.
@@SolarGamesllc just found this game and thought it looked cool, but I can't buy any cards outside of highly inflated prices so I'm going to have to pass on it. Too bad, game looks fun.
@@skorge98 Collector Promotional rares. From what I found out it was for FTC only so far and it was trading in a full play set of rares/SR/UR? 1 of each regilar and champion for a playset of the Promo
Just recently got into GA and just trying to wrap my head around what to collect! Game play is a lot of fun too
My recommendation is high rarity stuff. Go for serialized cards and CSRs. Then you can go for unique promos
@@SolarGamesllc can’t do CSRs and such. Way too expensive for a normal person lol.
A few hundred dollars isn’t too bad. Or you can pick up a bunch of FTC CSRs still really cheap.

I ordered 3 cases myself and opened 2 so far and 1 more coming in the mail. I've been very happy with the product

Whats CPR??

Correct, and that was a one time thing. Don't expect that to happen again.
