Crazy. I hauled my first load of riprap today. I’m new to this part of trucking. After spending the last 18 years hauling steel it’s a nice change of pace. 👍
you trucked steel? I always love seeing it its a extremely rare sight but I always love seeing older rigs pulling flatbeds loaded with steel or even rebar. Ive hauled steel before some is very heavy like beams for example

I drive an Australian made Kenworth that was built in Australia but specifically for the new Zealand heavy haulage work and it has a 600hp c16 cat engine and it sounds literally identical to this truck but instead of pulling an rgn lowboy it pulls a widening low loader and can carry 25 tonnes without a pilot vehicle but can go upto about 45 tonnes on permits without a load devider

Love your video bro ...hey i was wondering why your P.T.O sound it like that is not normal you can use a tip i used if you want .....before turning your P.T.O on press clutch put 1st gear in make sure toggle lever for the trailer is not on the on position then turn on P.T.O take out first gear and it should engage better...just a humble tip if you wanna try it

Best way to do it is hold your trailer hand brake send it up and soon as it start coming off release the hand brake the load will push you forward
That only works with gravel/sand finer material. Not this size rock. It’s to big so gets stuck. I just move forwards once it starts sliding
My guys do it everyday B comes off quick and easy less dangerous

Hate dumping rip rap in a trailer dump with a loader I would much rather place it in with an excavator if it's available

damn bro liked the loading and hauling but have much more respect for you loading your own load. damn good shit doggy. I heavy haul in and around sa town flatbed and low boy but never rip rap, only experience with rip rap is bass fishing around rip rap in the water lol. On point with your skills brody, good shit!

I don’t know if it’s legal or not, but here in Oklahoma if we haul rip rap we don’t put our tarp on, and DOT has never stopped us for it, any body know if they’re just giving us a pass or since it’s such a big rock we don’t have to?
